  1. Yeah LADYBOYS. They don't call themselves female/women. You are full of contradictions my friend.
  2. The rest of the world? We don't all live in the west. But watching it fall to ruin is... well. Shocking. Talk your ideas in Dubai. Have fun.
  3. You woke lot really can't stand when people deny your rubbish ideology. This is the reason many gay men now totally denounce the alphabet people and their LGBWTGIUOC++ nonsense. Yes I understand these words. There are 2 types of genitalia, male (penis) and female (vagina) . There are 2 genders, male and female, which are assigned at birth according the which genitalia the baby has! And you can identify as a orange penguin if you like, but it doesn't actually mean anything. If a human has a dick, it's male. Period. And I have never, or will never be a CIS anything. What a load of nonsense. I am a homosexual MALE. All this other rubbish I want nothing to do with.
  4. I'm good, but thanks for the advice.
  5. Oh you're sweet. I'm too young to have ever owned a telephone directory. We had cell phones dear.
  6. Can you explain this in English? I just checked my Oxford Dictionary. Can't find it.
  7. Fly to Saigon. Open Blued on your phone. There are hundreds. Just sit and wait for the messages. The only problem is it drains your phone battery. 800k to 1mil VND. They wont be bar boys. Just local guys with day jobs topping up their income. Last April (the first week Vietnam opened it's bordered post covid) I had this construction worker turn up. He was in a bad way. 20 years old, but dirty. One of his flip flops was broken. His jeans were finished. Through Google Translate he told me he had been living on building sites for 18 months. We didn't do much, but I enjoyed his amazing physic. We went the the market after. Got him new gear. ($45 at most). He only asked my for 500k to meet. I gave him 2mil, and he cried. We are still talking now, and I can't wait to go back to Saigon! I'm not sure why you guys want to pay 5000 Baht for some Silom guy to give you the Starfish experience. Venture further and have some adventure.
  8. There was a thread not long ago on all the things that are illegal. It was rather amusing.
  9. It's Thai law that all guests have to be registered or known by reception (Keeping visitors ID card). For what you are looking for after reading your previous posts, Thailand isn't the best country for it. If you were a hotel owner, you would want to know who is in the building, right?
  10. Where? Bangkok? Pattaya? Chiang Mai? Phuket?
  11. You are correct. I had a look around this afternoon and there are a LOT of bikes for rent now. Numbers have dropped more than I thought.
  12. Low season is starting to bite in Jomtien complex, that's for sure. Bars are looking a lot more empty than they did only a few weeks ago. A group of us went up to Pattaya for dinner Saturday just gone. We were shocked at how busy walking street and central Pattaya bars and streets were in comparison to Jomtien Complex / BoyzTown. We came to the conclusion that the city is still packed, but the gays are flying somewhere else. Mexico & Colombia are places I hear a lot about. If you want to scale how busy the city is, look at the motorbike rental shops. In May/June, they have dozens outside. Over Christmas and New Year, it was near impossible to find one to rent. This week, the shops are starting to get a couple out front again with "For Rent" signs.
  13. Dancers from The Venue live in my building. A bunch of lady boys also. You have to take the good with the less good. Now invaded by Russians, its the good with the bad.
  14. As you said, the area and/or zone one lives can make a huge difference. If you are living in a beachfront condo, you signed up for drunks tourists being loud in short-term rentals. I have nothing against AirBnB, I love them. I just don't want to live in a building with tourists. I live 1.5km from the beach, and it solves the problem.
  15. I can only tell you how it works in my building. People with suitcases are questioned if not known by security staff. My building has a minimum 6 month lease requirement for entry. We have a biometric system (thumbprints) to enter and navigate around the condo and facilities. Other, older condominiums in Jomtien, and greater Pattaya don't have the same level of security. I sleep better at night in a safer building.
  16. I totally understand. It happens in my condo regularly. Residents and security stop people with suitcases. My post was satire.
  17. When traveling best to stick to the local laws, and keep yourself out of trouble.... Short term Airbnb bookings are illegal.. Avoid them. Gogo bars, illegal. Prostitution, illegal. Watching porn, illegal. Sex toys, illegal. Buying booze after midnight at stores, illegal. Drinking after 2am, illegal. Electronic cigarettes, illegal. Going outside without wearing underwear (under your pants/shorts) illegal... I bet a missed a few. But don't worry, you can sit on the balcony in your hotel, smoke drugs (cannabis), and masturbate with only your imagination. Best to stay out of trouble.... I love Thailand haha.
  18. Lot's of assumptions here. 1. You are assuming this is a tourist on a short trip. He could well be an expat. 2. Short time rooms are useful when you are caught off guard. When you were just out and about and a STUNNER comes your way. You could be miles from home, but can't miss the opportunity. 3. For expats, many of us are not always comfortable taking a boy back to our home. Depends on the boy. Depends if he's from a gogo bar, or a freelancer. Short time rooms are just an added layer of security. 4. Hotels in the last couple of months have been in short supply. Lots of places are full at the moment. Agate, even Emerald Suites above Dorothy's Showbar. Full. If everyone was booking 2 rooms, the city would implode, and prices would be double.
  19. With the new roof, Jomtien Complex is a shopping mall.. of sorts.
  20. That's great information. I did wonder what was happening up there. 500 baht is on the high side, but if you were happy then no problem.
  21. Any questions just go speak to Zack. He is always sat to the left of the stairs as you enter. You probably know him already.
  22. You are correct. When I got my condo, I went to immigration myself and filed my TM30. It seems many people don't know about it, and many landlords or agents just don't bother if not asked. As with most things, best to do you research and do it yourself. It's an easy cash cow for immigration.
  23. Fine was 1600 Baht if I recall. Both were a case of the landlord failing to register them after they rented a condo. This was at Soi 5 immigration, Jomtien.
