The point I was making, although I realise you didn't quote me directly, was if I boy didn't kiss me, I would question why. Even if the connection is financial on his part, and being horny on yours, there has to be a mutual "lust" for both parties. Then again, some old dudes like a starfish who won't do anything. The lesson is if a boy isn't interested to a point he wont give you a kiss, he is sitting next to you for a boy drink and a tip. He is rubbing your leg because he was told to do that...... This is almost universal in my experience. Take him home and it will be disappointing.

It doesn't matter who the yanks vote for. You're country is finished. The petro-dollar is finished. The West is collapsing and the East is on the rise. It's not the fist time it's happened in history and it won't be the last. Yin and Yang..... The reasons are not worth debating here. Too many matrix slaves and NPCs reciting CNN. Western democracy is an illusion. Ticking a box gives the wage slaves an illusion of control over their lives. Is this forum mainly Americans? It seems so. Asia is surpassing everyone, and for good reason. I just pity the sorry sods left rotting in failed states in the West. BRICS is coming... and yes, the R is Russia. Good luck!

I was with Atomy once. The main Dancer from Classic (twilight days). He went on to be a TV celebrity on Channel 5 in Thailand. He's a very handsome guy indeed.

Alex (Burmese) Toy (Lao) and a few other very nice boys work at the bay downstairs. Good friends for me, we always hang out when they are in Pattaya. Yes, you can take them. Just tell them what you want. The one difference is, the boys there are probably looking for more than a short time. Most of them spend their time traveling around Thailand with customers. At least from what I see on their Facebook feeds!

If I haven't been kissed by a boy, there is 0% chance of me paying the bar fine. Taking home a boy who really doesn't want to be near you is a recipe for a shit experience. When I walk into a bar I have learned to read the room, and the boys. When I see farang call down a boy who was actively trying to hide from him, I always expect it will end up as a rant on one of these websites a few days after. Seriously, if you have no connection at all with a bar boy, just leave. Some boys just want to get boy drinks, good for them. Find the next one in the next bar.

The building that is Jewel Bar sold for 12 or 18 million, I can't recall. The new laundry building next to the Agate I am 80% sure it was 12 million. Testing my memory there. Not all shophouses are privately owned. The closed JQK Bar is owned by the complex, and a few others. It's a mix match of private and complex ownership. Suffice to say the rent is much lower on the privately owned ones. The bars that open and close every year or so, are almost exclusively complex owned. There is no way to make money on the 70k+ a month rent.

I will give you that. I guess it comes down to how you approach things. People who are here for a limited time with desires to fill, don't have time to be messing around. If they want a boy, they need to get him before they fly home. My use of the word vastly was because I feel if you are going to a gogo bar, you are going there for boys. It might not be everyone, but generally that's their objective. You don't go to buy a glass of wine and read a book..... Lot of people go to beer bars in Jomtien Complex for a drink and a chat with and expat friends. Some guys sit there every night alone reading, watching the world go by. There is an American guy who sits trading crypto all night, every night! I know for many, myself included, our fun is normally a late afternoon thing. Evenings are for expat friends, dining, and some drinks. If you live here, having an agenda isn't really necessary. When you have friends, regulars, boys that you know well, it's easier to just go with the flow. See what happens on any given night. - Maybe a regular you haven't seen for a while who just gambled all his money away will jump on your knee and offer you a deal you can't refuse. - Maybe a boy you haven't seen in months walks back into the complex looking hotter than ever. - Maybe you just sit and have drinks with some friends, but you organised tomorrow afternoon on LINE so no problem. I can't say I personally ever went into a gogo bar for any other reason that look for a boy to take off when I was alone. It's since changed to now sometimes going with a group of expat friends for drinks and a good time.
-
No. There are no gogo bars in Jomtien Complex.
-
Not accurate. The difference is you asked someone to sit with you. Sometimes you make friends. Jomtien Complex is more than just boy bars. There are lots of asian boys who drink there who are not trying to sell services. The experience as an expat is far different than that of a tourist. Just as the rules in a gogo bar are vastly different than a beer bar that you frequent most nights, year round.

It's hard for some to believe, but for expats, popping open a bottle of Blend 285 and drinking with staff is not something that requires tipping. Most of the time you see this, it's likely the guy isn't a customer. Especially in low season. It's just another day. I often drink with Thai / Lao friends. I don't pay them/tip them lol. It just fills their time till the next tourist wonders down the street with a wallet full of holiday money.

The old toad was lurching up Jomtien Complex yesterday afternoon with his alcoholic Thai boyfriend following up the rear. "PRIDE" brings them all out the woodwork. Luckily one look at our table, and he quickly lurched to the next bar to try find a table that would suffer him. At least this time he wasn't trying to flog copies of his book. Memoires not fit to be used as toilet paper.

I have a better idea. I seems every time I post here you want to try to pick a fight, as most toddlers do. It hurts when you can't admit you're wrong. It may be better to just ignore my posts, instead of reacting. Yes, we may have met in the past and had drinks together, but I can assure it will never happen again. I have no interest in communicating with you, in any aspect ever again. Move on. If and when you return to Thailand, please stay away from me. Your have your tribe. I have mine. I can assure you that will not change.

Yes dear. Yes I am. Now run along for another booster.
-
Oh, I acquired my dislike for your type long before that. I was just young enough to believe I should keep it to myself. Now I know my enemy.
-
It's easy to comment on things you never witnessed.

A number of years ago I had to sit through this guys drivel one night at Cocka2 Bar. He was also very offensive to other customers and staff. Jomtien Complex now only has to deal with his perpetually drunk boyfriend.
-
Sunee Plaza is dead. Most of the boys have relocated to nearby bars. 69 Bar ect.
-
I heard this too. They also own a boy karaoke club in Pattaya.
-
On the 6th of June, JQK Bar was closed by Jomtien Complex staff and all residents evicted due to failure to pay rent. Sadly, I don't think it will be the last this low season.
-
I think you summed it up there. Just forum stalkers. I've yet to have anyone in any bar in Thailand ask me if I want a MAN. I am always asked if I want a boy. The only time you will hear the term man used is if you ask a boy who is a top if he will bottom. He will be quick to tell you I MAN. But forum stalkers wouldn't understand why that is.
-
Go get a booster shot. Your clearly running out of wokeness.

I personally find I drink more on non-alcohol days. There are always many private parties and events with expats. Last Saturday also saw the largest crows of boys I have ever seen at Jomtien beach. It went as far as the eye could see. All drinking, all having a good time till dawn (or later in some cases). I do find it amusing when idiot governments have their own policies backfire. Proves to us all how incompetent they are. (and that's aimed more at Western governments than Thailand)

Looking for advice on massage spas for - not for massage!

Grindr isn't your friend in Thailand. That's why Blued and Hornet usually win. Their algorithm detects talk of "money" or "money boy", and after some woke prat in their moron department reviews it they are quick to ban those accounts. That's why you see boys set up new accounts every week. After a few bans, they ban the boys device, and then they run to MKB (Bangkok) or Tukcom (Pattaya) to get another phone that isn't device banned. -
First time visitor, can someone explain it all to me...?

That's good to hear. I meant no offense by my reply. I didn't want to assume your preferences!
