There are many clinics that cater to LGBTQIA+ health in Bogotá. One of the best known (for gay men) is Clinica Salud Sexual Masculina in Usaquén Cl. 99 #49- 38 Oficina 609, Barrios Unidos, Bogotá, Cundinamarca. They also advertise in some of the local online sites and forums. There is another on Carrera 7 near the Four Seasons hotel that I know about that is a walk-in clinic, but a Google search turned up nothing.

Yes, they can add you to the WhatsApp list and you will see their daily (usually 5-6) updates, including event details and when entry is being stopped (estámos full).

One advantage of the love motels is precisely that...no one leaves until they have confirmed that both parties are safe. The main door access is controlled by the reception, meaning they do not allow the other party to leave until they check with you. So yes, in my opinion this is a huge advantage to the Love Motels in Colombia. The management know precisely what is going on and are there to ensure your safety.

Yes. It is different type of spa since part of the premises include a Gay History Hall of Fame (or similar description) that is open to the public. @Colombiaman on Instagram takes many of his private tours here if you want a preview. There are a couple of colleges/universities nearby so there can be some rare finds at this spot. The facilities are clean and well maintained but definitely showing their age, and the crowd can be erratic -- gets busy on the weekends but weekdays can be spotty to nearly deserted. Check out their events calendars -- the stripper shows usually pack in the crowds on weekends. Complices is one of the remaining spas in Bogotá that features massage attendants so that is also an option.

The CheckMig app for entry/exit from Colombia has finally been upgraded and those annoying bugs have been fixed. Brand new interface and works on mobile with no issues: https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro Just remember to complete up to 72 hours before arrival/departure to speed up the immigration process.

I convinced a friend here that we needed to do some research yesterday. Will write up more in the Business listings but as the newest sauna in Medellín this place is popping currently. New, clean, friendly service with massage attendants.

If you are currently in Medellín then any time is good to visit as the city is in full party mode for Feria de las flores. As noted in other discussions, the tradition in Colombia is to visit the saunas after work (6-8pm) or on the weekend afternoons. There will usually be a good crowd from 4pm onward. I plan to add to the Business listings and may visit this location on this trip.

Sorry for late response, I arrive in Medellín on Aug 2 and will find time to do an update on current (2023) sauna listings at some point during this trip.

Yes, professional service and hassle-free. Just know that you are paying much higher than the standard rate in Colombia, but most of their scorts speak reasonable English, if that is a plus for you. -
It is true. Medellín is seeing unprecedented demand for tourism and inflation is a serious problem. Both housing costs and food prices have increased exponentially in the past 12 months and it is pricing many Colombians out of the market as more foreigners choose the city as their location for nomadic living and longer term residency. Nearby Envigado and Rionegro have seen an explosion in population as many choose to leave the city. The mayor´s office is acutely aware of the issue and are working on new residency taxes for foreigners. But that will take time. The locals had taken to calling El Poblado Medallork or Gringo Terra (like Inglaterra) this spring, and you will see increasing signs of frustration from the locals who feel that they are losing their own city.

Will quickly add that the hotels will NOT have any issue with your guest for the week (Colombian or otherwise) if registered with a valid cédula civil. What they are concerned about is using the premises for multiple sexual encounters which indicates prostitution which carries penalties for the property. Have posted about this before. So most hotels and buildings want to colour within the lines in Medellín and avoid issues with police -- like an inspection of guest visitor logs which hotels keep by law. My suggestion (for all travellers to Medellín) is to treat your security guard (vigilante) with great respect -- offer them a coffee, an empanda, hell, buy them lunch if you are getting food -- and most of them will look out for you and not report what you are up to with guests. Most Paisas are fine with gay visitors but don't piss them off and you should be just fine.

The annual Medellín mega-event takes place from 28 July to 7 August with the annual Desfile des los silleteros -- the incredible flower displays carried by local Paisas on their backs. The programming is outlined here (EN) https://www.medellinadvisors.com/la-feria-de-las-flores/ Always LOTS happening in the city during the Feria, and I am always happy to be back with my Paisa family. See you then.

Has been written about here extensively. It is still open and you meet the boys at Bliss Suite hotel in Centro.

Strippers are generally not the main theme in Colombian clubs. Places like Gigolo House and Garage (both Bogotá) are stripper bars where the boys will do a single dance at the end of their stage obligation fully erect. Most then walk the audience offering up a feel for tips. Not sure if that fits the bill for what you want. Many clubs and saunas in the larger cities will bring in a feature stripper to do a 20 -30 minute show during an event. Again, depending on the space, these shows can be completely vanilla or full audience interaction up to penetration -- just depends on the venue and what the stripper has actually been hired to do. So I would suggest just asking around at any of the local gay bars you hit up. Colombia has a LOT of private gay events that feature entertainment far wilder than what you find in the local bars. If you are up to it, you can apply to be a member of Angels Naked Party which runs a number of different events in Bogtotá y Medellín. Good luck with your search.

Unfortunately no. I like to get away for my birthday just before the holidays begin and will likely end up in PR this year. Back to Medalló in January 2024 if all goes well.

Since you specifically about about which city offer more chances to play...this is not a fair competition. Medellín wins. No contest. Cartagena is an historic city with a lot of tourists. It is on the coast and enjoys many months of sun. However it is a small city (about 400K residents) and many are transient, working in tourism jobs. It definitely has its charms, but you asked about sex and...you are going to need to be very fluent in the language and the culture to meet a lot of locals for sex. Not saying that it isn't there (trust -- there is a thriving gay scene) but most outsiders are not going to discover it. Medellín is a metropolitan city of nearly 5 million inhabitant that is quite modern by Colombian standards and sees a lot of tourism. There are many pockets of gay interest around the city and there are lots of saunas/bars/discos/cruising spots to meet and hook up with other men that have been written up here extensively. It is known as the city "of the eternal springtime" for its mild but pleasant climate so don't expect tropical days by the pool. But the city has a far more dynamic scene and for newbies -- the locals are known far and wide for their sex positive attitude in Colombia. I won't bore you with tales of the many "straight" men I have had sex with in Medellín, just know that the potential for sex is very high in a city known for having extraordinarily good looking men. If you willing to throw a few buck down for the pleasure, I think you will find the selection is overwhelming. As others have noted, Colombia does have challenges with English being relatively rare as a spoken language, so any language skills will greatly improve your chances. Good luck!
