I agree. Charlie Carver and Matt Bomer were so good. I knew nothing about the play except that the setting was decades ago. Will probably watch again after doing some research about the original play. One question, was Michael "blind" that Donald was Mr Right? I know, Michael was high maintenance, but Donald would balance that.

It takes a noble gentleman to admit he's not the #1 cock gobbler in the room. That said, network news reports this evening that ongoing anti-mask/lockdown protests continue in London. A segment of US doctors, health gurus and others continue to spew their position that the pandemic should not require Americans to wear masks or social distance. And Rand Paul spewed false pandemic claims about herd immunity this week while he criticized Dr. Fauci during more Senate hearings. Sounds like the pandemic death toll is sort of acceptable to these people. Now, some better news this evening: COVID hospitalizations in LA and Orange County are dropping. The data varies depending on which news source, but in any case, good to hear. I should say something about A.M., to stay with the OP. The article attributed her being basically standing at the head of European affairs. Reminds me of a pre-covid protest I attended where one of the LA board of supervisors spoke about kidnapping and murder of gays in Chechnya, and how we need the leader of the free world, Angela Merkel to stand up to Russia. That got a rousing cheer from the crowd. I look forward to better times when we can gather safely, and better times after bad-POTUS is out of the WH.

I also continue sending $$ to the Dems. I worry a lot how Trump could win too many swing states, again. The poll numbers worry me. -

Trump is wreaking havoc now. He has messed up most everything he touched. Not conceding to Biden is almost to be expected. Getting worked up about it now is one option. Hopefully our democracy has enough chutzpah to wade through whatever unfolds under BabyDumbDumb at the end, his end. -

If we're really over 45, if the perfessor is right, everyone must still vote. -

Can Democrats make America great again? And if so, how?

The conservative piece refers to Deep State as a real threat. I don't need to explore his opinions much beyond that, do I? Deep State was a conspiracy invented by Cambridge Analytica. To spend time discussing that POV gives credence to it. Then why not give Q a fair shake? Everyone deserves their opinion, right? Let's give Q a seat at the table. <--This is sarcasm. But really, Republicans are already going there. -

Last night Peter Hamby and Jessica Yellen appearing in Real Time with Bill Maher both claimed a Biden win is a sure thing. I like the sound of that, yet I agreed with Maher, I'm not convinced. -
I recall Mattis was the one in the Cabinet that refused to profess fealty to the President, and instead mentioned his duty to those serving in uniform. Here is discussion of Woodward's book, that Mattis recognized how dangerous Trump was to the Country.

Especially murdering journalists. Seems to be a trend.

My understanding of the Putin model is how opposition eventually grows tired of resisting and arguing against the corrupt leader. Quit Facebook. My thought for the day.

What drew them to the city of brotherly love? Perhaps a happy alternative to LA LA Land and NYC.

His twin brother has cerebral palsy. He has made big money investing in Uber, Spotify, etc. From Cedar Rapids. Married to Mila Kunis. Seems like a decent guy.

Jim Clyburn's grandson Walter Clyburn Reed backed Pete's campaign and recently tweeted how Buttigieg would make a great chief of staff. And though it is off topic, I must say Walter Clyburn Reed is cute AF.

All these sources coordinating the story about Trump makes no more sense than the worldwide deep state conspiracy to undermine POTUS. The Atlantic has already admitted there is more to come.

I'm not really responding to your post either other than to admit that my Miss Cleo comment is a stretch. She wasn't really Jamaican, just played one on TV, and she left planet earth in 2016, so unless someone can reach her in the hereafter it wouldn't be prudent to compare the perfessor's predictions to her's at this juncture. That said, I don't see his methods taking into account inferior campaigning ability, eg the post that reminded 'tis better to protect votes from being flipped. Hillary discovered too late that Wisconson, etc. were being flipped. Worst of all, effects of how fake news was weaponized against Hillary on social media, and how similar initiatives are underway now, is beyond his methodology. Back to Minnesota, CNN interviewd a blond female 2016 Trump voter from the MPLS suburbs on the news last night. She discussed her concern that Biden has lost a few steps mentally and is not fit for the Oval Office. Shitty unbalanced reporting, I thought. Yet there are lots of folk like her thereabouts. Minnesota is not a slam dunk for Biden, in my uneducated opinion.
