At restaurants they always bring your water in a bottle with a glass of ice. We've never had an issue with the ice. Hell, I even chew the ice while eating. If this is your first time going and you are nervous, I'd recommend the hotel I mentioned. They have security and that might give you piece of mind. Trust me, I understand your trepidations. I had them as well. I would also recommend you linking with Manny for guys. He knows them all and they will get into some pretty wild SHYT if that's your flavor. MANNY is well known around the DR. he can serve as your airport transfer, tour guide, sex scheduler, body guard and a whole lot more. He is VERY WELL CONNECTED in the DR. He's SUPER FRIENDLY. I've had a few incidents with hiring someone from off the streets, but stood my ground in each instance with my HUBBY by my side. It's a 3rd world country and those guys are hard up for money so there is no limit to the shyt they will try.
