This new sauna masculina in possibly Brazil’s highest per capita income city, São Caetano do Sul, is taking shape. I do not know if it will be trade-positive. It is south-east of São Paulo metropolitan area, presumably accessible by Line 10 (Turquoise) Gogo dancer Adriel F is working on it. No doubt, some members here or Paulistas will be able to unearth additional details. @thermasmikonos

As I posted, one customer reported a shakedown by police. That is eye-opening and it had not occurred to me because I would not expect this where I have been so far. I cannot verify the veracity of what he said, but I think it is prudent to be on the safe side and aware of what can happen, that is, share and pool information about such events in order to hedge expectations of 100% smooth sailing. I only shared what I hope other members would share if they were privy to information I had missed out on. The reality of a culture of payoffs simply reinforces the idea of caution and, for me in this case, having a strategic cover story if running up against men in blue when entering a massage parlour, considering the history of extortion running through the force. It is not atypical on this message board to put forward reminders to be on guard. It is essentially similar to the theme of discussing relative degrees of safety for navigating various neighbourhoods. If there isn’t room to cover all of the bases that usually come up, what good is the forum? For sure, we are going to have differences about how to operate the central philosophy and intent of the board. That nothing bad happening so far is predictive of same simply does not hold water. I believe there have been scary hold-up stories shared here, for example, that blemish the illusory logic of invincibility but do not compromise the loads of fun to be extracted from our adventures.

There are two separate businesses, in “partnership”, listed above: hair removal and spa with massage. Clever; brothels are illegal, and the house taking a cut is pushing the envelope compared to the other places where clients pay a bar and facilities entrance cover and may hook up with ‘independents’. I THINK but not 100% sure. Staying a step ahead of [albeit unlikely] police confrontation, to my way of thinking, means flashing the depilation service info. They don’t need to know my level of collusion. Easy breezy beautiful cover story.

InHouse Spa is further south, nearer current Lagoa location, at the Metro’s Ana Rosa station (blue line), one stop north of Santa Cruz station folks use for current Lagoa.
-
The Rolling Stone article is neither, just a humorous commentary on local community members’ awareness of the shenanigans that exist in their midst. The one Google review ‘pasted’ is someone asserting a police shakedown going in to InHouse Spa.

Brazil’s foreign film entry for next Oscars, winner of Un Certain Regard (Cannes 2019). I was fortunate to catch a single screening at a Brazilian film festival. Sublime. Set in Rio de Janeiro roughly 1950-1960 then jumps to modern day for final scenes with Fernanda Montenegro. If you are lucky it will be broadly released or eventually available for streaming. Another winner, Bacurau, is apparently to be released in the new year.

Not to be contrarian, but it’s a dance studio in #124 there (there are several in the area including a pole-dance school!), before that was a bar and prior to that a restaurant in no particular order ... and will likely be something else when I arrive later in the winter. LOL #130 housed an advertising/PR firm, with fairly big name clients, but moved a few blocks away. As suggested, none of these details should pose a problem. (I will post a snippet I found from Rolling Stone on the general theme)

There are flat-rate taxi kiosks, you can pay by credit. I have not taken a curbside metered radio taxi. I have done Über several times, obviously cheaper. The hitch is that at either of two terminals the pick-up point is Departures (elevator very close once you enter the public space at arrivals), HOWEVER, the driver sometimes screws up and goes to Arrivals level for you because (s)he may have not had a previous drop-off fare. The app may not arbitrarily choose a driver that ended up at Departures. You may need to communicate in PTG that you will go to them because it is often easier to hop on the elevator back to Arrivals than for them to endure the complexity of shifting levels by vehicle. Eeesh ... I know. You will need to specify your door letter Example porta D. I also tell them I am wearing whatever helps them recognize me eg white baseball cap. I usually arrive after midnight if not a domestic flight. -
A dated InHouse photo (previous location?) is a majorly tatted up gogo now established in Barcelona who tricks at Thermas there, and is topping up the usual patatas bravas etc photos with 'influencer"-status promotion of intravenous 'detox' as well as botox injections. On another note, fake news? ... but plausible ...

Sweet baby cheeses! Based on some of the profiles I’ll be tapping into the loyalty discounts.

Some of us are interested. Was it one of these, listed on the board a few months ago, or does the name escape? Only an inner circle? ——— We could likely use a topic thread on these facilities. I would also be OK with a happy ending with the right massagista, without ‘sexo completo’ necessarily occurring ... I don’t mind paying the full price tag.

I should add that, counterintuitively, the physical street entrance to Paulista station is on Consolação. Not obvious from maps. It is obvious on maps that the Consolação station entrance is on Paulista. — - - - Also, there is a bidirectional bus stop in the centre median of Rua Consolação directly at the top entrance of Rua Pedro Taques.
-
Correction: walkable from 3 stations on 2 (not 3) Metro lines.

SolaceSoul posted them. Since there are still inquiries I will post a few map images. Walkable from 3 stations on three Metro lines: Paulista (yellow, line 4)and Consolação (green line, 2) which are connected underground about a 300 metre walk between the two; and from the closest station Higienópolis-Mackenzie (yellow, line 4). Obviously, Metro versus vehicle depends on your comfort level. Again, the pin should be at the south end of the very short street Pedro Taques, not directly across from cemetary.
-
It is mis-pinned in Google maps as being right at Consolação but is really a short block south, one building away from the corner of Bela Cintra, as previously mentioned elsewhere. #124 appears to be a dance conservatory, at least in part, with children coming and going. Aerial view: directly east (bottom) to west (top).

Gogo at Theatron in his recent Hallowe'en getup. Tall, built, handsome ... really sweet guy, nicer than any in Brazil and I have met dozens there.

This should be better, removed from the layout cluster app ...

I don't know why it is fuzzy. It has crisp resolution in my photo file.

I have booked my Recife excursion, invested in planning. My digs happen, by coincidence, to be a few minutes on foot to Blue Space in Boa Viagem. I have followed the advice to block a Thurs/Fri/Sat 3days3nights for sight seeing (Antigo, Modern, Olinda) and naughty play seeking. Here are the walking distances among the clubs that will require an Über going north from Boa Via gem to the general area.

If you are off to the races in Recife, it is a quadfecta. You can search for commentary by @pauleiro , etc.

He just did something to his hair that I think is very unflattering. I prefer the curly locks in these dated pro photos.
