OK, age of consent in my nation is 16, but the law applies both locally and internationally in terms of interaction considered exploitive (younger than 18) ... prostitution transaction, use of images, older party in position of authority, etc. However, a Brazilian of any adult age appears to have more latitude with a sexual partner 14 and older. I am happy to admit being wrong, but the age of consent is 14, and at age 14 any age-gap exemptions are no longer in place or relevant legally. HOWEVER, “seduction”, images considered remotely pornographic, and enabling prostitution of a person under 18, are explicitly prosecutable. It would be prudent to wait to 18 and verify age. I am not American and will have to see what my nation’s requirements abroad are. I have never checked because children are of no interest to me.
