  1. Play nice. Fingers tend to get rashly lopped off by one or the other hand for the sake of a dug-in point, not that one such outcome is necessarily a bad thing to amputate content but, you know: do no harm and all.
  2. Alrighty then. I look forward to the Ted Talk.
  3. You’re easy, for the most part a non-disastrous connection. 😏 But nah, too many extra Metro stops and empty calories for the sake of comprehending merely one person I have no reason or desire to meet.
  4. Some were.
  5. When you see the majority on some days, you’ll realize that there’d be nothing normal about forking out 44CHF for sex. Hit and miss. In contrast, a venue access fee of that magnitude in Switzerland is understandable. I think there’s wifi; can’t remember. Should be at any rate, or that rate that is.
  6. How would Americans be in possession of rejected Brazilian visas? There is no such thing as a rejected visa, only a rejected application. Similarly, how could an American applicant for some entity be in possession of another faction’s non-entity? Why would Brazilians reject their own visa applications made by Americans on behalf of those Brazilians? And is it a single Brazilian or a collective of Brazilians? How does the apples-oranges idiom relate to this jumble, even if a hot mess of a string of thoughts does give one the giggles? How much effort should one make to search for contextual content to begin to make heads or tails of an unstructured and semantically disjointed array of expression in a sentence? Answer: not much, depends on individual forbearance. I myself can’t go the full distance of 560 content pages of this ilk. That’s just me. But I’m open to a reasonable explanation behind it. Reciprocidade.
  7. Glad to learn it might exist elsewhere plentifully.
  8. Translation svp? Which translator app?
  9. LOL. So much for territorial property owners’ grip on the tourism segregation agenda.
  10. Common case of manipulative online troll, beginning with the broad humour of imputing drug use to someone whose content he devalues. Pathetic.
  11. Brazilians are, by definition, Latino, so the term there comes off as superfluous. Genomic admixture is so extensive that it doesn’t make sense to assess individually or arbitrarily according to colour groupings. It’s just dumb, and no smarter to stratify according to two large city populations, including their brothel subsets. One would be hard pressed to obtain an impression from innocent young objectified Brazilians abroad that wasn’t dumb in essence in the context of performative dynamics indulging the purveyor of an absurd tasteless inquiry. All this isn’t to say that differential attitude and treatment in general according to skin colour is absent.
  12. Of course that’s a good idea, well-intentioned if perhaps over-stated. I bring a few hundred dollars worth on board, including the noise-cancelling Bose over-the-ear padded headphones and the noise-cancelling Bose ear buds, both power-charged. However, I am habituated to sleeping on my side and a pillow is the only thing I want pressed up to my ears. The one activity I am occasionally on my back prone to doesn’t involve sleep or Pilates, but maybe Barry White 🎶 tracks over a Bose Bluetooth speaker. As an aside, I never take sleeping medication in any context; probably the worst place would be on a flight where alertness at an instant’s notice may be needed.
  13. I don’t drink much on flights but I’d be one of those with a bad altitude when abruptly awakened.
  14. Nothing I’m not on top of. Most people are easy. Period.
  15. Yet you obviously attended to it in spite of implicit disinclination and couldn’t rule out its merit seeing as it exceeded your attention span. You needed to see if interaction between two others required your two cents, dollars to donuts you went over the content far more than I intended or required. I critiqued another’s capacity to stick an amusing zinger, the question of humour the springboard for your gratuitous response. What does post length have to do with bot-centric trends? Try more coherence, tracking of forum content, less desperation to make an early mark. I wasn’t trying to be funny when pointing out a sad phenomenon within a minor yet toxic representation of gay travel forum posters. You merely exemplified the legitimacy of my observation, a perception not tangential to any topic as it’s an overarching thematic thread running through any forum. I merely plunked in a photo of a travel guide that I deem useful, as others might. Two brief sentences. Like it’s Friday and somebody brought in coffee cake. Topics go off in multiple directions. That is the inherent nature of social media, along with the usual expected array of DunningKruger-afflicted trolls on standby. I find the dynamics interesting and I don’t mind taking a few minutes here and there to comment. You don’t like what or how I write? Bots have advanced to corollary images …
  16. Now that’s more of an effort … troll-ish, mind you, abstruse, but at least a bit more stab at creativity. (If you’re into feedback. Not likely. It’s social media after all.) Word to the wise, though. Attempts at humorous zingers land better when the reader doesn’t need to web-search a cryptic obscure string of letters. Reads like a primary care practitioner consult on a Telemedicine platform at Target. I’d prefer to not have an ass dawn on me. That’s just how I roll. If you reach deep enough you might somehow reference something that actually happened.
  17. Regarding the clueless emoji … it’s not your fault, it’s not your fault, it’s not your fault …
  18. Yes I’ll be flying Qatar biz this year. It will be the only time I jump more than 6 time zones. I should dial back the over-privileged whining. Nobody is forcing me to spend non-commensurate with quality.
  19. These work best if shoved up the nasal passages or crammed into the windpipes of those disturbing your sleep. Those applications double for vocal cord disabling. If folks could just self-regulate. Sign language should be the 1st language in some cases. Opposing thumbs are vastly underused. That said, they are solutions that I would only need a few hours a month on average.
  20. The thing about a guess in quantitative terms is that it can range from being born out to having been wildly speculative. Context is lacking in terms of how to price-point a large departure from the current lay of the land.
  21. Hahahah … we were both being sarcastic and non-literal, obviously. Except, well, I think you took mine literally to suit your response and I think you are fully aware of it. I’ve picked up on this trend and also often wonder if you bypass context in your posts, though my sense is you are far from being a simpleton and you are a wealth of concrete information. What is important for me to know about you and what you think the value of your post is? Hmmm? The ‘being on drugs’ fallback dig is usually a ploy for cheap laughs and you might consider expanding your repertoire. It seems, well, basic. It’s just one clue that calls into question what significance your input has and what attention it deserves … from me. We are all different and hold personal standards. Now you have something it makes sense, more psychologically and not so much manipulatively, to truly disagree with. ——— Cue the ignore-worthy retort.
  22. My last few business class flights were a waste of money. I like to lie flat as a variation of posture, and be on my side, requiring 180 degrees. Sleeping is great if the conditions support it. My last flight bumped me from the last row to being in front of a family of 6 travelling at the last minute. One of the young children usurped my selected seat but could have easily been clustered with her folks without me needing to move. Much shrieking among the 4: infant to 6-ish. No sleep. All this racket directed forward to my ears. The flight before that was a bachelor party clustered around me. No, no lookers. Not misbehaving, but rowdy and loud enough to inhibit any possibility of restorative sleep. And before that, first row, about 2 feet from a curtain behind which several flight attendants were talking extremely loudly for several hours while most other passengers making zz’s snug in their duvets. I’ve rested better on some occasions in packed economy. I would prefer to pay a lot less to lie flat if those populating a shared space are going to render attempts at sleeping futile. I’m a very solid and enviably deep sleeper at home where it’s quiet.
