Yet it translates "Je me tape le cul avec mes doigts": "I fuck my ass with my fingers". It chooses present indicative but elects "fuck" rather than "type". Who says AI is pottymouth- free?

Probably a glitch in the app's brain if it did not quite compute. I used the image scan function and got the same 'i love music' as well when doing the original PTG to Spanish. It may have picked up on culture and 'jammed up' on the music phrase. Interestingly, it was happy to translate Portuguese to English to Spanish to Portuguese to Spanish (see sequence below), so it preferred the PTG version that its brain initially moved through two different tongues before producing the Spanish translation. Note the variations ... you can likely go back and forth between two languages and see minor alterations in the text on consecutive passes. Kkkkk, jajajaja, so Spanglish is alive and well!

FWIW, you can simulcast almost any written language with almost any English-language movie or TV show with this free app. It is kept surprisingly current. Actually, I have the Pro version for a few dollars ... I cannot recall why. It even has both Brasilian and Euro Portuguese. The thing is you have to watch the subtitles on a device separate from the screen on which you are viewing the film or series. Therefore, if dialogue is going too quickly for you to manage to attend to both screens you must pause/play both at the same time. It is quite simple to line up the two systems initially, but stopping and reversing is very tricky to maintain synchronicity. Alternatively, ditch the mailed DVDs format and stick to online (for Netflix).
