Two sides to the equation. I have witnessed obnoxiously entitled clients drastically lowball more average or below-average looking garotos. One recent foreign tourist disdainfully and within clear earshot offering 50 reais to a shy somewhat older working guy who had not even been hustling the customer for a programa. Some others go off site to their already paid lodgings to avoid the cabin fee and yet want to pay a similar sex trade rate range. Burns my avocado toast. This is not a unilateral offense-defense zero-sum game. It is more a reciprocal offense scenario based on mutual stereotyping. Perhaps it can be said it is a version of 'cold war'. Wringing and withholding are both money-grabs. Expect casualities. DISCLAIMER: I don't know the current relevant details, just encourage a balanced view.

Refused at checkin from Brazil to Cuba

Likely most public health clinics "posto de saúde" for a fractionated (eg, 1/5) dose, good for 12 months ... supply limitations account for lack of full lifetime doses. Bring your translate app. For bigger guns: Albert Einstein Hospital or private clinics, cost more. You can contact your consulate (USA?) there for recommendations. If new travel requirements are driving your interest, note that you may need to be 7-10 days post-vaccination in order to enter, for example Panama, for a period of time exceeding the airport connection threshold (6 hours, I believe). -
Was the pro massage guy Carlos, aka 'Charlie', possibly? What a doll. Straight, married with a kid. Drums up biz at the Blue Chairs beach section and uses a table at a resort adjacent. Also does housecalls. I ask because I was also soaked with endorphins.

Refused at checkin from Brazil to Cuba
Riobard replied to endlessdream's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
The Yellow-Fever-specific inoculation requirement is a more recent one, having shifted from the lower 'recommended' tier in Feb 2017, for arrivals from Brasil to Panama (even just flight transit at Tocumen!), so I will be bringing my certificate with me because I have returned to using Copa Airlines from South America to the north. I have no need to currently investigate malaria or Cuba aspects. I do not think that malaria is an issue landing in Panama as it is likely the Yellow Fever spike in Brasil that precipitated the change. The traveller mentioned above may be unique in landing in two countries following departure from Brasil. More complicated to tease out. The rules for Panama are variable, depending on length of time at Tocumen and final destination. Best to call the airline. My previous connections in Panama past 21 months were (and always are) extremely short and involved jogging, so perhaps I was lucky to board in Brasil. -
In the early days of my FB learning curve, another board member came up in my "people you may know list". I thought, well, that is interesting, and on the home page were images and posts that verified he is one and the same. I did not make much of it, but thought it would be hospitable to reach out to this person as at the time he seemed to be the receptive type. Now, a few years later he has explicitly communicated to me personally that he wonders if I had gone to some extensive trouble, in a stalky sort of way, to locate his social media profile. In actual fact, my tripping upon his profile was an artefact, most likely, of a mutual FB contact in common, viz our joint association with a geo-particular location. Now I get thousands of these types of prompts ... as many of you know, these inflate with quantity of contacts. I think it is appropriate for me here to formally disabuse anyone of the notion that I am stalky. Au contraire, admittedly one of my faults is being diffident and detached from new people in my life, with a relatively narrow social radius. Characters in literature and the other arts draw far greater attention from me. That said, I do make the effort to transcend my introversion and be friendly to nice emotionally centred folks. I would have been perfectly fine making my current points herein to this fellow directly, but I am blocked and unfriended. So be it. I realize it can be futile to attempt to control the conversation should one's image and reputation be impugned, vindicatively or otherwise due to lack of understanding, in this case, the complexities of digital webbing within the SloLoMo Revolution. But it only takes a few minutes to self-empower by presenting an accurate representation of the facts. Any member worth his salt will appreciate my taking the time, and your valuable time (!), to set things straight. ---- There is probably no reason to add commentary here, but feel free to private message me if I can be at all helpful in some way about the complexities of social interaction on a forum such as ours. I won't be circling back to this new topic, so any commentary made will be restricted to eyes only other than mine. Cheers and thank you. R

Tomcal, toots, I was not putting JrB on a pedestal. Chill. It was more intended as a friendly challenge message ... it's irrelevant whether he sees it, and I will likely have a face-to-face word with him depending on my full visit. There is an implicit internal contradiction when you say his style is not optimal but that the lineup is based on fate and other variables out of his hands ....kkkkkkkk. That staff, indpt contractual or otherwise, trash-talk the grand pooh-bah with customers, or the pied piper in this case, further underscores the farcical aspects of the whole enterprise. So you are "in" ... I get it. No need to perseverate about it. I have no beef with you but I am not any more smitten with your impressions and experience than I am with any other poster here. I don't idealize your playbook because that is not my preferred consumer approach, even if you are apparently the Ben Franklin Tom Edison Alex Graham Bell of queer prostitution south of the Amazon. What you outlined is pretty much covered in numerous previous threads, by you, in fact. As I have read them 'on groundhog day', and completely internalized them, and have no reason to discount these factors, and was not dismissive of them ... just was not going to add a sociological treatise that members gripe about anyway ... I think it is farfetched to assert my perspective is erroneous on some points just because your nose got out of joint, and to lightly school me you cherrypicked a minor point related to how there might be a correlation between venue ownership and the outcome of grade of merchandize. I am not writing for you and with a specific attention to your particular sensibilities. There are 31,000 potential readers here. So I go to a VW dealership with satisfaction for a few years and then find the typcical selection of make, model, and frills has considerably deflated? And the showroom's architectural digest design puts more into bold relief the state of the inventory? Same idea. No need for you to "yelp" about it. This is not a cave in on the highway that temporarily disrupted the supply chain from the plant. I think that many readers like the same type of guy as me. I am saying essentially that the volume of conventionally attractive escorts in the spa brothels, particularly curently the club thematically highlighted in this thread, is low, and the looks of the guys is currently distinctly poorer than the club ads depicting models as well as the real time images of the stage entertainers. But the prices reflect deep discount relative to a small best-in-show subgroup of commercial sex workers. Me, I come a long way like most, and I would prefer to pay much more for the "type" I prefer in a safe curated setting. Not gonna happen, too many nickle-and-dime consumers. Simple as that. I am actually accepting of change. I am not looking for a pissing contest about it. Though my aging neuropathic bladder gives me some edge. Lastly, I am not doing a head-to-head comparison or rating across venues. I certainly don't put much stock in others' opinions in that regard, and even more so reject the notion that my own subjective impressions should carry much weight. I interact with far more customers at the brothels, who tend to be pretty humble and agreeable chaps, than the number of board members extending themselves with accounts of their consumerism in Brasil.

He was a tad confused about its provenance, faggots of wood, stake burnings, etc, but I think eventually grasped it as a slur directed to our ilk. I am sure PTG equivalents are widely employed by most of the local queer brothel working lads. -

Well, some would take a sean to Fagner and the idea of diddle while using one's tongue as a pubic comb might fit the conversation. I did warn him that within minutes of my post on this "gay travel group blog" his broader context would be revealed. He gets it as an occupational hazard. He was also very amused at my elaborate explanation of the word Fag in an English language context. -
These lads above are beautifully representative of the hot supporting players within stage shows there. Now what is needed to complement that, as well as the very fine reno results and a zippy club vibe, is a contingent of young men walking the floor who are illustrative of the male beauty Rio can be renowned for. There is no reason Junior should not be capable of securing that much needed aspect consistently throughout any given week and season. He is very likeable and hands-on personable running the show. I hope he pulls it off.

I came home happy from 5 hours at 117 tonight, a total of R$266 lighter for house damage and one hour privé, and a few new contacts for future play. Entrance is up 5, now 62 reais. I discovered Will Viana is mesmerizing to watch dance. Wolfed down some poached grouper, rice and new potatoes, beans, slaw, greens and carrots, and caramel flan. Satiated. -------- I have permission to give out a guy's name and contact info. A very cute culturista known by some of you. A family man, real sweetheart. He drives his '13 Ford Fiesta under Über, mostly late at night, but also available for day roadtrips beyond Rio. Fagner, +55 (21) 9 6545 9225 -
I can never get totally stripped to my birthday suit ... no sooner do I lose the towel than I am wearing a guy on my dick, or a buttplug that is actually anatomically part of a guy ... sometimes wearing both at once if there is coordination, space, and luck.

Cine Rex this afternoon for a brief spell Directly across from the back (westside) of the full-block bldg in which the unmissable Cafe Amarelinho (east side, yellow tables chairs) exists at Metro exit Cinelandia. 10 reais, grabbed some rubbers. Forgot my white cane and braille playbook. Looked like the anti-christ of a decent brothel setting. Customers only. A way, I suppose, that old geezers like me can get some. Advise to sit at the adjacent cafe sidewalk tables with a brewskie to make your contact, if any. Shot out of there to the nearest drogaria to fill an antidepressant script. -

Is Phinneas Barnum on the hiring commitee for 202 ? Last night I was hustled by the oddest-looking homely skinny kid. Pasty. Bad hairstyle. His front upper dentation consisted of 2 central incisors, 2 gaps, and 2 of the largest cuspids I have ever seen. It was actually startling. Is that a thing? Vampyrism fetish in the house? Then the tall hulk with the synthroid guns ambles buy behind him. WTF!? The grotesque one, not sweet Marco. Diversity and inclusiveness is the order of the day in our time, no? But can it be taken too far? Out of a few dozen guys there, 4 that have some appeal for me. Two are older and have been sampled in the past. Fun tops, and braces now behind them. Two younger cutish lads I want to top but one, for sure, disavows that option; gorgeous buns huge tool, dental hardware. The other, quite pretty one I may explore later, he goes to both clubs. Does not seem too busy. But my sense is many of you would go gaga. Had to dash to the show offsite. What is in the water in Brasil? Lagoa only a smattering of do-able guys. Where the hell are the guys going to come from for the new place? Newbie unfamiliar stock in Rio just not very good-looking or particularly fit. I need more than statuesque and hung. I see vast numbers of desirable beef on the streets. A few years ago, hordes of guys who could take the northern strip club scene by storm. Currently, most of them would not be allowed to audition no matter how charming how endowed. I wish I had been more forthcoming requesting phone numbers in my initial visits. Several dreamboats have moved on but may have turned out to be contactable. ............... Oooohhhh ... I forgot the most important component. One reason a sideshow came to mind was that at PNTE a music vid of Rebecca Ferguson playing the role of Jenny Lind in The Greatest Showman was blaring. Yep, this is us. -

Saw the Carioca contemporary dance company FOCUS perform the piece Still Reich with 8 dancers incuding chorgrfr. My ticket bought yesterday afternoon was the 4th sold (!) so I thought might be rinky-dink. But intimate 125-seat theatre packed full. Second of 10 nights. NYC Joyce Theatre quality for senior half price 5 bucks. Gorgeous athletic, dynamic dancers ... track mainly thrilling percussion. Our palms worn out at the end. I am so pleased I tripped onto this show walking past the rather obscure venue on Catete just south of LdoM. -
There at 202 a few times this week. Great remodel. I also like the music vids (not new), and info flat screens. The big-screen porn in fluff room finally clear images. The private room screen, not that I care, remains snowy but this seems to be a problem in all the venues. Also, no dimmer, so full light switch, light from screen, or sometimes light from shower area. I spent some pitch black time with a hot! guy for part of a session. Interesting to amplify the other senses and second-guess where your tongue is lodged.

WW3 almost erupted over this question within the past year. Mucho biche-slapping and duel-challenges ... later than dawn, mind you, we do need our beauty sleep. I forget where the thread is ... I think it is embedded in another topic. But you'd find it hella entertaining. I'll PM you, brah.
