In discussing Thailand (where I am right now) and Brazil its worth noting that the Thai Bhat is at around a 6 year high whereas the BRL is close to multi year lows. I’m definitely finding it relating expensive here albeit an in koh samui which tends to be more expensive than rest of Thailand ... nothing happening here to warrant s BT trip report unfortunately !!

Agree with brockmiller is heaps to do in Rio (malls etc) as well as great food!! Don’t forget Ilha grande and buzios outside of Rio as well. on my first trip I tended to pay r$150 also I think because I was a newbie. Subsequent trips I have paid r$100 and guys have been mostly happy.

Thought I should mention Incase others unaware that there is now a sling room you can hire in thermas. It has s sling in addition to bed and a “cane”. Very h0t. i has a session with the hot Egyptian guy ahead who speaks perfect English

As a further update return to Adan last 2 days around 6pm. Selection of guys better. It’s not brazil or thermas or anywhere close but it only tskea 1 or 2. I went with 2 Venezuelan guys both good looking and had fun. Both straight but they made an effort to appear into it but I do prefer my boys to actually be gay normally. So guess advice is again avoid the Eastern Europeans and only go during prime time. The free rooms are crap but paid room no 5 is biggest and has Morris on 3 sides which I liked - not kids but doable. There was hot water in showers and steam room was decent. Dry sauna has most awful smell - avoid! Anyway off the Barcelona tomorrow will try and report back...

Belated thanks jaizan. I went to trombetha and agree is fun and very dark! Rentboys relatively thin on ground but lots of tantric massage places. Hi guys, planning a trip to Lisbon Over summer. If anyone has any updated / recent info or recommendations let me know. I understand there is no sauna. Any info on scene, hotels etc that is not obvious from general web searches would be most welcome! Thx

For a first time visitor my personal recommendation would be to try and get a corporate rate at Copacabana palace in Rio for the experience (can get under $300) and save the sex for the saunas. Similarly in São Paulo I would try and get a discounted rates at hotel unique. Just think you can get enough sex outside hotel and get best of both worlds. Outside luxury hotels I found beds in Airbnb’s and lower hotels to be quite hard and uncomfortable in general versus western options. But whatever route u take you willl have an an amazing time
