  1. Forcing people to sign in is controlling behavior. I have an automatic disdain for people who are controlling and/or use methods of control to get their way. It's not a personality disorder I admire. The fact is, many sites and businesses have turned to controlling behavior antics in the past 5-10 years, and I've left most of them. I understand that businesses feel pressure to join the controlling chorus, and I always caution against it. When smart people realize the manipulation, it can seriously turn them off. Pissing off potential customers is no way to build a business.
  2. Not her fans. Much like Trump, her "followers" are defending her to death, blaming ignorant, liberal Democrats for mistreating the rap diva. LOL! And death may be exactly what they end up finding by signing on to her "influence." I suppose there is talent there, but I never paid much attention. For me to fall in love with female talent, the talent must be extraordinary and/or the woman must have loads of class. Minaj always seemed street to me. Give a street girl too much money and fame, and shit happens. I heard from Mariah's camp during the Idol/Minaj season. It was easy to see the girl is way too full of herself.
  3. And she can go fuck her ignorant self. I'm absolutely thrilled that other Black entertainers are calling her out for her utter stupidity and ignorance. Ignorant celebrities with a bullhorn and too much fake pride deserve to be called out and shamed. Let her see what it feels like, as a Black woman, to be playing in Kanye West territory.
  4. OnlyFans Is Not a Safe Platform for ‘Sex Work.’ It’s a Pimp. On the homepage of today's NY TImes.
  5. Hard to believe that such corporate incompetence could be intelligently calculated and then rewarded, but we do live in the age of Trumpism. People believe what they want to believe. The social media outcry was so strong against OnlyFans (some of the Twitter feeds were brilliantly written), why would creators embrace such corporate betrayal, especially without an "I'm sorry" in the form of generous monthly discounts? It's the sex workers who built the brand, making the owner filthy rich, and the owner turned on a dime to dump them so quickly, so publicly, for some bank loans and pussy-licking of payout providers. What a joke. IMO, creators should collectively tell OnlyFans to go fuck themselves and start a huge "cancel" boycott, but I doubt that will happen. So few of these pussies have any self-respect. They don't care if a corporation fucks them in public without lube. It's all about fucking anyway. Look how many escorts supported Jeffrey Hurant after years of gaining wealth by fucking them.
  6. And now they're back: OnlyFans Reverses Its Decision to Ban Explicit Content All in one day. Talk about public relations whiplash. Good grief. What a bunch of silly amateurs. But it's porn, so behavior does not matter.
  7. Another one on today's homepage: OnlyFans Creators Will Not Be Deterred After the platform’s announcement of a ban on explicit content, many of its stars are feeling the sting of being turned away by a business they helped build. But they’re moving on fast.
  8. I disagree. Whenever I travel, the New York Times is my preferred read. Repeating myself, the article is copyrighted material. Oz, the owner of this site, has been quite clear about the issue of posting copyrighted material on his board. Perhaps someone else can help.
  9. Hit the NY Times homepage: How OnlyFans Became the Latest Casualty of the War on Porn
  10. LOL. Of course that's the corporate response. What else can they say to halt the hemorrhage? The announcement alone sent droves to JustForFans, clicking to check JFF's pricing policy so that sex workers can figure out how much more this social media thing is going to cost them. JustForFans may experience a windfall, but it won't be long before their lawyers will get hounded by the Feds. Whenever sex and loads of money are involved, nothing fun for the consumer lasts very long.
  11. Apparently, they do. I don't know the revenue numbers, but the platform is worldwide HUGE. They're based in London. My son tells me there are a lot of women, especially younger women, who have tease sites. They barely show cleavage, but they're raking in millions. The phenomenon is truly amazing. There seem to be millions of straight guys around the globe who are willing to spend lots of money per month simply for the attention of a decent looking girl. Loneliness is quite lucrative. Your sources are wrong. It's a finance issue. They are caught up in needing to borrow money and lenders are concerned about under age sex and sex trafficking laws. There's also the issue of Visa and Mastercard, two financial institutions who want nothing to do with under age pornography and/or sex trafficking. OnlyFans claims they will allow nudity, but they will crack down on illicit sex acts. Me thinks the male hardon is "illicit," so even the tame bating videos will end. No matter who comes along to replace them, the under age/sex trafficking issue will follow. No political party wants to be on the side of child pornography or sex trafficking. When it comes to porn, it's impossible to prove anyone's identity or age.
  12. Well, we knew it was only a matter of time. I hope the sex workers saved all that money, because things are going to seriously change now. (I don't have a link. The news is trending all over the place.)
  13. And the challenge will continue to grow as more and more people turn to OnlyFans for income. What happens when the U.S. government decides to go after OnlyFans? Most of us realize it's only a matter of time. The threat of child abuse, sex trafficking, and money laundering exists on OnlyFans, too. Whenever money and sex are involved, there is no easy way to escape the bad apples. Even Reno Gold, as young as he is, is aware that things can change very quickly. "One day you're in, the next you're out."
  14. Very few porn "studios" offer any creative vision. Most wouldn't know how to define HOT sex when captured on motion pictures if they wanted to. Most rely on an age-old formula, which is very dull and very boring. Don't even mention the stupid studios who still use awful music tracks as background sound. Some amateur sex workers have figured out a way to film hot sex themselves. It helps that newer cameras can handle low-light (or bad light) situations better than ever before. IMO, if you put a sex worker in front of a mirror and tell him to do his thing, simply by turning the camera on you'll often get much more sexy material than what comes out of some tired studio. Very happy to see the bad ones die. The glut of awful porn in the world is a waste of time.
  15. Unfortunately, it is a necessary business, not unlike cable service, which I also abhor. Abuse, abuse, abuse. That's why my heart goes out to ordinary users. They get sucked into the false narrative marketing, and they (and their money) often gets used and abused. The average, ordinary customer has no idea what their bank does with their money. SERVICE. Without the customer's money, there is no bank. The job of acquiring customer trust is a serious one. Too many commercial banks have lost their way. When the perception is the business is "necessary," corrupt behavior soon follows. Let's talk about safeguards the next time we experience a "run." The banking crisis near the end of Bush's term illustrates what disaster is possible in America. Many bank customers have the potential of getting screwed, when things go seriously wrong. This is not a service I need. I almost never use an ATM (unless I'm traveling). And for the huge amount of money that I'm required to maintain in my account to attract no-fee service, the bank better give me free ATM use abroad, or they will lose me as a customer. I do not use the internet for banking or bill paying. My computers have been hacked more than once. I know too many people who have had their identities stolen. I refuse to endure that pain and suffering. I do not use my cell phone for banking or bill paying. I employ people to deposit checks. No one sees me in my Tom Ford jammies (except the sleepover guys). Shall I introduce you to my friend Chris Krebs?
  16. If only I could get a free night with a hot escort every time someone told me this. LOL. A service? It's a service to hold MY MONEY and protect me from...robbers and thieves? Oh my. You sound like the perfect banking customer (or employee). I appreciate the brilliant marketers that banks have become. I've written my share of those brochures. Clearly, it works...on some people. I suppose if you're the type of customer who needs car loans, home loans, credit cards for borrowing at ridiculous APRs, and perhaps small-business loans (good luck with that), a commercial bank is there to provide a service. IME, the service SUCKS, and it's fake (unless you have a ton of valuable collateral). Maybe there was a time when commercial banks provided service. It seems to me, that time has long passed. Today, you are just another number, another balance. Not much different than if you're flying Coach. I keep a small account at my local bank two blocks from my home. The turnover in employees there (the entire staff) has been extraordinary. The bank building has been there for 40+ years, but the managers, tellers, desk agents; they change by the month. How can any business provide good service when a customer can't rely on the same human representative from month to month? That kind of service is a JOKE. But by all means, ENJOY the drip, drip, drip of service you get. If customers don't speak up, they get the service they deserve. Not much different with politicians.
  17. Words written in a particular manner sent to just the right person can produce results. Keep in mind that most CEOs do not read these letters, but all of them employ someone who does. It is that person's job to get the job done. Writing a good letter of complaint can be challenging work. It takes time, hard thought and energy. There are often many details that need to be explained, a lot of them are boring and difficult to keep straight in a smooth, comprehensive narrative. The goal is to have impact, to elicit good results for you. If you possess poor writing skills, it's better to find someone who does. Some people can put their heart on paper without a decent education in English, but this is not the norm. Personally, I could write a book on bank treatment in my life. I've known my share of bank owners from around the world. All of them filthy rich. The book would be boring as all hell, I doubt anyone would want to read it. And then the financial world would hate me. It's not worth the trouble. It's a complicated question without an easy answer. Much depends on your financial needs and your personal thoughts and feelings about convenience and fees. I typically recommend a little study about the available options, and see if something rings a bell in your brain. If you read high-quality travel blogs, you will find sincere love for credit unions and or private banks. A lot of wealthy people own stocks and they use investment accounts. Most credit unions are owned and managed by its "members," and this type of ownership can make all the difference in the world. Many people claim the best credit unions are run by military members, former and current. If you have a military member in your family, you may be eligible to join one of these credit unions. There are a few with outstanding reputations. It's almost impossible to replicate the fantastic deals they can offer you elsewhere in the commercial market. Sweet eyes and a handsome face always have the power to open my wallet.
  18. I never met a commercial bank that I felt deserved my love (or my money). My feeling is this: If you want me to store my money with you, ALL services should be free, you should treat me like a god, and you should pay me a fair sum. No one in my lifetime has met that bar, and I have a lot of experience with many banks. Wells Fargo has always had a terrible reputation, along with Citibank. In financial conversations with younger people, I advise to avoid these two. At least in the 80's, Chemical Bank pretended to meet my criteria. NY Magazine voted them #1 in customer service. But then J.P. Morgan Chase gobbled them up, and it's been downhill ever since. In my personal life, I do my best to avoid commercial banks. I WILL NOT give my money to people or a business that abuses me.
  19. There are tons of websites dealing with the same message in ERROR, including some of my banks. At first I thought it was a Mac thing, but then I discovered the number of fixes offered from almost every browser. If you Google "Your Connection is Not Private Error," tons of pages will come up from numerous "support" pages. It's impossible to know whether an encryption issue exists or not. Unfortunately, given the subject matter of this website, newcomers may click away when confronted by the error message. They won't bother with "Advanced," and they will just move on. Welcome to imperfect technology.
  20. Maybe. That would depend on Mark Burnett's contract. Since Burnett is now the Chairman of MGM Worldwide Television Group, he would never allow for the release of the outtakes. The last thing Burnett wants to do is piss off millions and millions of Trump voters, who do watch TV. And what does it matter? Even if the outtakes show Trump shooting a child on 5th Avenue (especially a Black, Mexican, or Asian child), his cult following will still love him, claiming the action showed "strength." The cult is the most worrisome thing to U.S. security, and those who work in security know it. The sooner Trump drops off the face of the earth, the better for everyone.
  21. Looks like the cunt is back. Amy Cooper, White Woman Who Called 911 on Black Birder, Sues Over Firing Looks like she's suing her former boss for, get this, "racism," in connection to her being fired. Many lawyers think the suit will be dismissed. I hope it is, and I hope she gets countersued to pay everyone's legal bills.
  22. Depends on how you ship. The last time I lost my Visa in a Paris taxi cab, my bank sent the replacement card via FedEx overnight. However, I don't know if my relationship with my bank mattered. I did not have to ask for overnight service. First Class International mail can take 7-14 days during a normal year. Double that for Covid and the current problems with the U.S. Post Office. The last year of Trump, First Class Mail in the U.S. has been a disaster. We've had more things lost or very late than ever before. Some of our Christmas cards from U.S. addresses did not arrive until the week after New Year's. They were postmarked Dec. 15.
  23. I have my doubts about that. Santorum may find himself jobless for awhile. The Trump brigade (the biggest, racist assholes on the face of the earth) demands total loyalty and fealty to their dear leader. While not quite Mitt Romney, Santorum has been critical of Trump, which is why he lasted at CNN for so long. He is not considered a favorite of Trump's base. IMO, the only reason he had the CNN job: ego and hubris. What else was he supposed to do to make money for his family?
  24. CNN Drops Rick Santorum After Dismissive Comments About Native Americans Karma. It can be a bitch. I've never been a fan of Jeff Zucker, so when he took over at CNN, I knew my days of watching were numbered. I do realize, especially in the days of the Trump era, it is VERY hard to find a reasonable, thoughtful, intelligent conservative to participate in non-partisan discussion. Rick Santorum, the asshole political hack and failed senator, lasted longer than most others. Too many of these egotistical, so-called-conservative talking heads just don't get it. They can no longer use the words "principles and values" and expect anyone to take them seriously. If you support Trump, you have no principles and values. Go fuck yourself and keep your fucking mouth shut. I'm very happy CNN canned this asshole hypocrite. Now if only ABC had the balls to can pompous fat-ass Chris Christie.
  25. Yes, the reckoning. Every conservative I respect is saying the same thing. Except, The Apprentice always made money for NBC, even after its initial ratings lost their luster. It was never a canceled show. Had Trump decided not to run for president, the show most likely would still be on the air.
