Michael Bloomberg Apologizes for Stop-and-Frisk: ‘I Was Wrong’ I saw the apology. He read it straight from a piece of paper. Does he honestly think the Black community is going to forgive him over some prepared speech? I don't think so. Some of these wealthy, egotistical male politicians are really stupid sometimes. There was no single person in Bloomberg's camp to tell him his apology MUST appear to come from his heart, and he absolutely must memorize his words and MAKE them sound spontaneous? What a FAIL. Let him spend his billions bad-mouthing Trump. Money well spent. But I don't see this candidacy going anywhere.

LOL! I once was a fool. (Well, certainly more than once.) While permanently banned myself, I once pitched to Daddy that he should show his compassionate side and reinstate Lucky after Lucky's final banning. I tried to convince Daddy that a public show of compassion and forgiveness to a longtime, harmless member with an unfortunate stick up his ass would do well to promote the comity and heart of his board. A true gay mitzvah. For his last written words to me on the subject, Daddy wrote, "It's time for Lucky to move on." I saved all those emails. PS Yes, it's true. Long after I was permanently banned, I occasionally wrote Daddy with comments, humor, or questions. I don't believe he ever ignored an email from me. I truly held no hard feelings. Little did he know, I was totally over him and his board, and I moved on. Of course I viewed this as his loss.

OK, I can be obsessive. I recorded the impeachment hearings on four news programs. I wanted to compare and contrast analysis coverage. I didn't finish watching until late last night. Republican pussies Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan need to be taken out back and fucked up the ass by some strapping White-nationalist, tattooed ex-con. Spit only. With Neal Katyal and George Conway as guests, Nicolle Wallace's show on MSNBC was the star. The NY Times wrote about it on the front page of their homepage: MSNBC’s Surprise Guest: George Conway, Husband of Kellyanne It was riveting television, and I'm delighted that Nicolle got the "get" in Conway. Every conservative in America needed to hear these two Republicans talk about Trump's destruction of their party and his destruction of America as we knew it.
-
I can't believe Nicolle Wallace got George Conway to sit on the MSNBC panel for today's impeachment hearings. YAHOO! What a coup. I'm sure Neal Katyal had something to do with it, but kudos to Nicolle Wallace for being the new, bright star in television news. She deserves an Emmy and a Primetime time slot. I'm also sure an agreement was made with George that there would be no mention of George's wife, Kellyanne.

I have worked with so many physically beautiful people (still do), the concept of "love at first sight" escapes me. I hate bars. I especially hate their smell. So the thought of anyone falling in love in one makes me want to vomit. I've experienced "love at first sight" hundreds of times through the years. I can say without hesitation it's the most boring, shallow love I've found. Fine for one day, maybe two, depending on the mind and personality of the individual. "Love" based on looks, cock size, or hot sex is the cheapest form of love there is. When it comes to love, the last kind I want is cheap. Too many people have no idea what real love is. They often think it's something they've seen in movies or read in a book. Love is their fantasy. Too many gay guys are desperate to feel "love," however they define it. They confuse love with lust, and most lust is selfish, which is the furthest thing from love. Many guys are too selfish to ever discover true love in their life. The last thing I look for in an escort is love. The idea of paying someone for "love" makes me laugh out loud. If I had a friend who professed love for an escort, I'd feel sorry for him and give him the name of a therapist. And I'd probably stop being his friend. A lot of people have little to no meaningful companionship in life, and lonely, lust-filled situations can distort one's emotions and the meaning of love. Talented escorts know how to work vulnerable men, especially horny men. It's no different than cosmetic sales at Bergdorf's: beautiful women promising fountains of youth at ridiculous prices to aging women who aren't getting enough hugs or attention. I like capitalism. I don't really care how anyone spends his money. But if he's shopping for love, then say hello to a fool. Maybe befriending a fool is better than having no friends at all. I'll pass.

The End of Betomania OK. So I blew a few too many Benjamins on Beto. I'm disappointed it didn't work out for him. I don't think he's over. I expect to hear from him again. He's got a gift. However, the article in the NY Times spells out his failure quite clearly. Here are some excerpts: “Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Advice?” he asked high-school students on his first day on the campaign trail, adding, “I know that I don’t have all of the answers.” (He also did himself no favors that morning with an aside about his wife Amy raising their children “sometimes with my help,” before quickly expressing regret for the comment.) In the months that followed, Mr. O’Rourke ostensibly rebooted a time or two, to limited effect. His eagerness to please — feet tapping atop cafe counters, hands slicing the air, head held in a permanent display of attentiveness — began to grate on some Democrats who had preferred such tics when he was merely the alternative to Mr. Cruz, a Republican they loathed. And after criticism early in his campaign over a dearth of major policy plans, Mr. O’Rourke had, by the end, so tested the bounds of acceptable debate within the party (“Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15,” he vowed after the El Paso shooting) that some of his peers had worried that he was hurting the cause. Very early in the process, Trump made fun of Beto's speaking style, which frankly caught the national audience by surprise. Several friends in NYC were talking about "ants in the pants." Speech tics are not something you want when you take your show on the national road. The electorate is craving, starving for a true leader: a smart, informed, natural candidate who can inspire. Another Obama. Asking high school students for suggestions on your first day of the campaign, on top of the wife gaffe, is not the way to project leadership. The guy seemed doomed from day one. Screaming, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15,” is the worst campaign slogan in the history of politics. Most of us knew it was over when he delivered that line. You live and learn. Hopefully.

Oh my. I've been living the life in another country so I must have missed this bit of drama. Maybe someone will PM me and fill me in on what I missed? I thought all the assholes left the site. Perhaps I am mistaken.

Gloria Allred and daughter Lisa Bloom: scummiest of scum bags?
RockHardNYC replied to RockHardNYC's topic in The Beer Bar
I don't have an issue with any lawyer representing a sleaze bag. I believe every individual has a right to good legal counsel. I do hate scam, sleaze bag lawyers, though. Allred and daughter were caught double-dealing. Under the guise of Me-Too, mother and daughter were silencing their abused female clients while pocketing money from the abuser for the silencing. And then they had the balls to go on television and defend women's rights. These two are a piece of work. I've known Allred for a long time, and I always thought she was scum. I'm delighted to see they've been seriously exposed. -
Gloria Allred and daughter Lisa Bloom: scummiest of scum bags?
RockHardNYC replied to RockHardNYC's topic in The Beer Bar
I guess it was just a matter of time. Gloria Allred accused of advising Weinstein accuser to stay silent Women's rights attorneys? Give me a break. It's high time Allred and daughter Bloom were exposed for the money-grubbing thieves that they are, taking full advantage of their female clients when the money to silence them far outweighed any justice. "Bloom, who has since said that she’s “mortified” about having worked with Weinstein" I'll bet this phony bitch was mortified. Mortified that she got caught in a flagrant two-faced, money-scheming operation to defraud vulnerable women. Mortified that the female media gatekeepers who once showered them with attention might not ever open those free publicity doors again. If I see these two women on TV in the future, speaking on behalf of women's issues, I will write the TV producers and express my outrage. Unethical lawyers who get rich by fucking over their clients deserve to have their businesses destroyed. No more free publicity. Media darlings no more! -
The way they made money off of Harvey Weinstein's victims is a scandal story of its own. Can't wait to see how many female TV anchors rush to have them as guests on their shows now. David Boies, who championed gay marriage and Al Gore before the Supreme Court, served as Weinstein’s personal consigliere and worked to squash threats and bad press. If you want the truth, it is often said, "Follow the money." Weinstein's money sure impacted some very famous people who pose in public as righteous, humanitarian leaders. Stomach sickening disgrace. Susan Faludi's book review is scandalous enough. I can only imagine all the details that are chronicled in, “She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement.” Sounds like a worthwhile read if your stomach can handle some awful truths.

When you're at the top of your show business game, making tons of money with the support of Disney/Marvel, why on earth would you align yourself with a possible child molester? How is that support going to endear you to others moving forward? In clear opposition to actors such as Timothée Chalamet, Greta Gerwig and Colin Firth, what possible gain is there to going public with such a controversial personal opinion? I am absolutely gobsmacked by today's news item. Goodie for Woody Allen. Maybe he has a true friend in Scarlett Johansson. So what! Will Scarlett convince others to step forward in support? I doubt it. Will this erase all doubt and speculation about Woody? I doubt it. Is this a good career move for Scarlett? I can't see it. So then, WHY THE FUCK DO IT? What is there to gain by going public with such a controversial opinion about a tragic family accusation? (Scratching my head not wanting to lose one more hair.)

I wouldn't describe Oz's style of moderation quite like that. He has made his patient feelings known, and most of us support his lighter, more receptive hand. That does not mean you can play him for a weak and feckless fool. He takes action when necessary, and he listens and responds to reasoned thinking. Big difference between Daddy and Co. and Oz. A forum community with less activity is easier to control. One or two trolls won't cause a "meltdown." Not sure how Oz would handle some of the escort haters from Hooboy's days if those numbers were here. IMO, hate should never be tolerated in a gentleman's club. No smart forum owner would ever let cancer consume his community. Let's hope Oz will never need to be tested.

You're not supposed to really know who Guy Fawkes is, but most users seem to believe what looks obvious. Daddy seems to love creating mystery while dodging as much responsibility as possible. A fake leader name is just another form of board (and bored) manipulation, no different than deej and his twenty usernames. Daddy and deej are both control queens. At first, I heard the Fawkes account was created to be used by admin as necessary. The idea of using a fake leader name to discipline disruptive members can protect admin individuals from personal attacks and online retribution. When Fawkes speaks, and readers don't really know who is typing the words, a message is sent but personal backlash is thwarted. Given the meltdown drama and troll history of Daddy's board, in theory, a Fawkes account might be effective, especially if the owner is too fat and lazy to moderate his board in a more professional manner. Proper moderation takes time, money, energy, and will. Daddy has been very clear he has none of these.
-
It really is that simple. No matter what the subject, internet forums are fiefdoms. Each has its own leader. Each has its own rules. The owners and mods get to pretend they're the handsome stanchions who once guarded the entrance to Studio 54. Hasn't everyone seen the photo of Daddy he once stupidly posted? Imagining him with that bulbous, pregnant gut as a Studio 54 bouncer is really funny. When you analyze the participation number of that forum, you see how small the group of contributors is. Aren't they due for another meltdown? Someone wake me when the fat lady sings.

The simple answer is: Hooboy was an original, and for many years reigned as a monopoly. There are plenty of old-timers on that board who don't know any other escort board. And being from a distant generation, many of them are probably old Republicans, who spent a good deal of their life in the closet. Men who like to talk about their exploits with male escorts are a weird and eclectic bunch. I suspect many are not fully out of the closet. It's a niche market, for sure, and there doesn't seem to be the numbers to support two or more thriving boards. Internet forum life is a numbers game, and most gay men like to swim in a sea of other men. When it comes to talking about man-on-man sex, someone's political views may not matter all that much. Furthermore, the politics forum is a separate place. Users don't need to read that shit unless they want to. Swim with the pol sharks at your own risk. The big Daddy's health and financial well being are precarious. He's not going to last forever. I hear Benjamin Nicholas has been calling for donations. I never would have predicted that. Perhaps someone offered to re-link his blog. I suspect the big Daddy will handle the transfer of the board a bit differently than Hooboy. Imagine the board being run by Deej and all his multiple usernames also asking for donations. I'll pass. I'd rather talk to myself naked in a mirror. Don't waste your time. Life is too precious to care that much. Every forum on the internet has a personality. The buck usually stops with the owner, but the mods are often gifted with great latitude, especially if they work for free. You can't control people, especially the people footing the bill for your free speech pleasure. The best you can do is take caution when rubbing elbows with strangers, and take whatever pleasure you can find without trying to change the personality of the board's owner. It's the owner's playpen. He pays the bandwidth bill. He gets to run his board as he pleases.

Many years ago, when my lust for Benjamin Nicholas affected the stature of my rock hard erection, I offered frequent contributions at Hooville. I, too, was stunned by the number of right wingers on that board, especially in admin. Sources tell me that the old, bald queen known as Epigonos, also known for his (gag-me) deviled eggs, has no difficulty spewing his Republican views if he corners you at the PS pool party. I would have enjoyed smashing an egg in his face if he ever tried that with me. I love talking politics with smart, informed people, but I tend to avoid political chit-chat on the internet. I don't recall Hooboy's politics. I tried to ignore Daddy's posts as much as possible, but I suspected he had strong political opinions that leaned toward a mix of Republican and Libertarian, a weird mix for sure. Add to that his love of sci-fi, and you got a crazy cake for sure. Cooper the mod was an admitted Republican who claimed to enjoy placing dollar bills in a male stripper's ass crack. The picture in my mind of a White, cheap, fat, classist subjugator was always quite vivid. So I never hesitated to mock him, and I got banned for it. A personally proud moment, for sure. I have a number of friends who vote Republican, but they're all heterosexual businessmen. NYC Republicans are their own breed. They're often selfish and greedy, so paying less taxes is their singular voting issue. They're not much interested in culture wars. I don't have any close gay friends who are registered Republicans. Never have in all my years in NYC. I'm not quite sure how I would make a close friendship like that work. I'm glad I haven't had to give it much thought. I don't understand why any gay man would vote Republican, even if he's filthy rich. The way AIDS was handled by the Republicans in the 1980's was bad enough. The party's consistent homophobic, anti-gay policies, while many were sucking dick and taking hard cock up the ass in secret, is way too much damaging hypocrisy for any community to forgive and forget. In NYC, I'm often reminded of the expression, "self-hating Jew." I suppose there is also such a thing as a "self-hating gay." There are plenty of studies available on the internet that look at why people vote against their own interest. Examples are evident in my own Midwest family. Some parents are hard-core one way or another. And they raise their children to think in the same manner. Brainwashing the kids, and it works. Thankfully, my parents believed in free-thinking, so they did not try to control our minds. My dad voted for Ronald Reagan, but he also voted for Bill Clinton twice. My parents were registered Democrats, but they weren't always loyal to one party. Racism plays a large role, but that's for another thread. I do hate the racists. Recently, my gun-loving Republican cousin had to put her mother into a nursing home. In time, her mother's assets were depleted, and she faced two choices: pay out of her own pocket or sign her mother up for Medicaid. When I tell you that my cousins are all staunch Republicans (they hate anything named Clinton), "crazed right winger" doesn't even touch the surface. Of course my cousin signed her mother up for Medicaid. With a few homes and a few boats, the thought of spending personal money was too much to endure. But here's the kicker: their red state was reluctant to accept Medicaid expansion in the ACA. Eventually, at great hoopla, their Republican governor accepted it. If it hadn't been for President Barack Obama, whom they hated, there would have been no option to put her mother on Medicaid. I would love the opportunity to throw their hypocritical bullshit right back in their faces, but I have limited time left in my life and I'm too disinterested in fighting with assholes. I want to spend the last third of my life in the peace I create, so I decided to cut ties without telling them. I bought property in Italy, so it's very easy to escape family functions. "Sorry, I'll be in Italy."

Chris Cuomo Threatens Man Who Called Him ‘Fredo’ Chris Cuomo needs to grow a pair. Perhaps he should let his balls hang on an escort board for a month or two. That might toughen up his thin, sensitive skin. I suspect he took this punch for publicity. The man has a rather big ego and he wants to drive the success of his new CNN show. He certainly knows how to work the media and draw attention to himself. Considering how smart this guy really is -- he went to Yale and obtained his Juris Doctor at Fordham. He's also a licensed attorney. -- I'm surprised he wouldn't just laugh at being called Fredo. Furthermore, everyone knows that Donnie Jr. is the real Fredo, along with his dad.

Jeffrey Epstein's Hunger for Happy Endings
RockHardNYC replied to RockHardNYC's topic in The Beer Bar
In Epstein Suicide, Barr Criticizes ‘Serious Irregularities’ at Jail “We are now learning of serious irregularities at this facility that are deeply concerning and demand a thorough investigation,” Attorney General William Barr said. Deeply concerning. It's a little too late for that. The deed is done. Good luck with that investigation. Will the public be privy to the details? I doubt it. Will the public and Epstein's victims be able to trust Barr and his final summary of any investigation? Based on how Barr handled the Mueller report, Barr can't be trusted with anything he says. This is the sad state of our politics these days. Coverup rules. Even if Epstein did ultimately take his own life, whether coerced or not, I'm quite confident he had insider help. -
Jeffrey Epstein's Hunger for Happy Endings
RockHardNYC replied to RockHardNYC's topic in The Beer Bar
Trending for most of the day today: #epsteinsuicidecoverup I happened to see ABC's This Week With George Stephanopoulos today. Much to my surprise, they opened with a piece and roundtable on Epstein. Recently, George apologized for his dinner with Epstein in 2010, about a year after Epstein did time for sex offenses. ABC host George Stephanopoulos said he regrets dining with Jeffrey Epstein about a year after the accused sex trafficker finished his first stint in jail for pleading guilty to soliciting an underage prostitute. “That dinner was the first and last time I’ve seen him,” Stephanopoulos said in an email to The New York Times. “I should have done more due diligence. It was a mistake to go.” Epstein hosted Stephanopoulos and a slew of other media insiders — including news anchors Katie Couric and Charlie Rose, comedian Chelsea Handler and director Woody Allen — at his Manhattan townhome in December 2010 for a chance to meet Prince Andrew, who at the time was fourth in line to the British throne, The Daily Beast reported in 2011. George's roundtable today mentioned most of the famous names that were released in the court paper documents. However, one name that went noticeably absent: Alan Dershowitz. Dershowitz has been a regular guest on This Week. It is rather obvious that ABC wanted to stay on the good side of Dershowitz. Despicable. -
The Jeffrey Epstein case is going to make a fascinating movie. I wonder who will file the first lawsuit to prevent that from ever happening? With the so-called "suicide" of Jeffrey Epstein, conspiracy theorists are out in full force. And who can blame them? The mystery surrounding the death of this man is a serious head scratcher. At this point, it's a made for TV movie with a remarkably unbelievable script. How does a famous sex-offender, who supposedly attempted suicide just weeks ago, get removed from his suicide watch shortly after his cellmate was transferred, leaving Epstein alone in his cell? Two prison officials are on record saying these acts were a violation of the prison's procedures. It's obvious to me that many famous, wealthy, and powerful people wanted to deny Epstein any opportunity to speak or cut a deal. 'Massage' Was Code for 'Sex' Virginia Giuffre claims that Epstein began sexually abusing her at the age of 16. Thousands of previously sealed legal documents were released on Friday by a federal appeals court. In those documents, Virginia Giuffre reveals many famous names in depositions with lawyers. Apparently, Epstein loved happy ending massages, and he loved giving this as a gift to friends who visited. In Epstein's homes, massage tables were conveniently located in every room and throughout the property. Infamous lawyer, David Bois, is now representing Virginia Giuffre and the other victims. He's taken the case pro-bono. The feud between Bois and Alan Dershowitz is fascinating. Dershowitz is named in previously sealed legal documents. Virginia Giuffre claims that she was forced by Epstein to service Dershowitz. Dershowitz sued her for slander and called Virginia Giuffre all kinds of salacious names in the press to discredit her. Now, Bois is suing Dershowitz for slander, on behalf of Virginia Giuffre. Dershowitz was ubiquitous on TV during the Mueller saga. Now he's gone absent. Many believe he's on the run because Bois is calling his bluff. There are plenty of famous names in the recently released court papers. Along with Dershowitz, there's Donald Trump. And Britain's Prince Andrew. Also named were former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, and Bill Clinton, to name a few. Another fascinating twist in this story: In 1973, the father to our current Attorney General, William Barr, who was the headmaster at Manhattan’s Dalton School, hired Jeffrey Epstein as a calculus and physics teacher. There is a ton of information on this subject available on the internet, and more is coming. The Epstein saga has tentacles that reach far and wide. No single source seems to offer every detail, but there are plenty of reliable news sources reporting on developments. Beware: It's easy to get sucked into the quagmire of Russian bots. I'm not sure we'll ever get to the entire truth. The main offender is dead (although some bots are saying otherwise). There are plenty of high-powered individuals close to this story who don't ever want the truth to come out. Do I believe Jeffrey Epstein killed himself? There's plenty of reason to doubt.

I am still recording Nicolle Wallace's MSNBC show. It is one of the best news programs on TV today. I hate that she sometimes has Al Sharpton on as a guest, but Sharpton is under contract with MSNBC so Wallace may not totally control that hand. When Sharpton is a guest and he's speaking, I press fast-forward on my remote. I do not listen to Sharpton. Thankfully, Nicolle Wallace has other brilliant Black contributors on her show. I appreciate smart, minority contributions. I always listen to Jason Johnson, Eddie Glaude Jr., Mara Gay, and Kimberly Atkins when they engage with Nicolle. The other day, David Jolly was a guest, talking about gun violence and the Republican party, given the current tragedies. David Jolly is a former Republican House member from a Florida district. He recently left the GOP. His four minute righteous rant against the GOP is taking the internet by storm. It's a must-see for everyone in America. Here is a link to the four minute segment: David Jolly's Righteous Rant On GOP, Gun Control "Beat Republicans, beat them. Beat every single one of them. Even the safe ones in the House, beat them. Beat them in the Senate."

LOL. Definitely not. My face is much prettier. No bad surgery. Just a little Botox here and there. I'm also much younger. For now. Big ego. Normally, I don't mind that, especially if the talent is superior. Rumor is she slapped a few stagehands. I usually don't believe rumors. People in show business often just make shit up. You can get sued for hitting people on the job, and Faye doesn't have a lot of money. She needs to protect what she has. That's why I'm reluctant to believe the rumor. There's also word she was absolutely terrible in the role. The comments attached to the article are very interesting. It's as if her enemies in show business (there is a trail) are speaking up anonymously. Fun read.
-
I'm not surprised by this theater news at all. When I first heard the decision to cast her, I immediately felt sorry for the producers. I have always thought Faye Dunaway was a one-trick pony. She had a moment but could not sustain it, especially after terrible cosmetic surgery. The woman is grossly insecure, probably with good reason, but an insecure actor is a nightmare to work with, especially when they can't remember their lines. Dunaway is Dropped from Playing Hepburn

LOL. I have been asked on numerous occasions if I wanted to meet Andy Cohen. Unfortunately, we are in the same room at certain show biz events. Every time I've been asked, I politely decline the offer. In public, I can't express my disdain for a fellow man in show business. It's not how I conduct business. That is why I love boards like these. I need to vent and speak freely. Amazingly, even though we are in the same room sometimes, I have never rubbed elbows with Cohen (that I know of). I am so grateful, too, because I have a difficult time hiding my true feelings in my facial expression. I pity the poor guy if I ever make eye contact with him.

Kathy Griffin Slams Andy Cohen Says Anderson Cooper Won't Reconcile I kind of feel sorry for Kathy Griffin. For one, she should never wear her hair short if she doesn't want to look like a miserable, unattractive, over-pulled lesbian. For two, she got unfairly dumped by a so-called famous friend for possibly making a single mistake. What kind of friendship is it when a single mistake can't be forgiven? Kathy Griffin's talent never did much for me. I worked with Brooke Shields early in her career, and I met Kathy during her Suddenly Susan run. I don't remember Kathy ever making me laugh, but I always found her interesting and attention grabbing, and not just because of her hair. I have to admit the controversial Griffin photo of Trump's head did make me chuckle. It reminded me of one of my favorite authors, Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus of Ancient Rome. Suetonius had a biting wit when he would describe unloved, beheaded emperors lining the shore of the Tiber. For this I thought Griffin's humor was prescient, knowing full well that Trump devotees would not know who Suetonius was. Given most of what Trump and company says and does, was Kathy's photo really that offensive? Coming from a female comic who took her stand-up cues from Joan Rivers? I don't think so. But much like Al Franken's debacle, timing is everything. Wise advisors once gave me thoughtful advice: Expect to be judged by the folks you hold close and most dear. But when a friend hits a rough patch, is dumping the friend not a test of character? I never liked Andy Cohen because he's a cheap gay man. Self-centered, too. I view him as money-sucking TV scum. IMO, his product is no better for our culture than Jerry Springer's was, except Cohen's product is worse. He's making his fortune promoting primetime misogyny by dressing his Housewives with more bling and paint one could find on a RuPaul drag queen from Atlanta. The worst of America loves a car crash that continually beheads wealthy-looking bitches. I realize women-hating is a popular sport in the gay community, so I'm not expecting many gay guys to agree with me on this one. A lot of gay guys hate their mother, and some have very good reason. Some mothers are awful. Happily, I don't share that experience. The women in my life have been nothing short of fabulous. I'm grateful and appreciative. As far as I know, Andy has a good relationship with his Jewish mother, and that is not always easy. So how do we explain his dedication to the Housewives? M.O.N.E.Y. Andy sold his soul for salacious ratings that do damage to our culture, and he's laughing all the way to the bank. What will his legacy in TV be? Promoting women hating on women. There's good reason why many A-list actresses in Hollywood want nothing to do with him. I saw HBO's riveting Nothing Left Unsaid. Liz Garbus did some terrific work on this fascinating, very personal documentary. Make no mistake, Anderson Cooper did not lead an ordinary life. But he was very lucky to have had a special relationship with his famous mother through it all. And from what I know, Kathy Griffin enjoyed Anderson's mother as well. So what, exactly, did Anderson see in Kathy? She made him laugh. Anderson enjoys friends who make him laugh. Laughter is very important to him, and if you see the documentary, you understand why. But why dump Kathy and keep Andy? Was Andy funnier than Kathy? I guess an easy answer is Andy has a cock. But that answer could be construed as misogyny as well. I doubt we'll ever know the truth from Anderson's perspective. It is fascinating to watch a very public friendship of famous people - a competitive threesome - disintegrate. Almost like watching an episode of Housewives but more real.
