Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller always made me laugh. They were always funny, even off camera. Their son, Ben, was a cutie when he was younger.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't figure out what the OP was trying to say. Perhaps he had his own cock in his mouth while he was typing?

Hollywood by Ryan Murphy

George Cukor was 5'8". He was Hungarian-Jewish, born on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He supposedly was very smart, talented, stylish and charismatic, but he wasn't particularly handsome. I doubt there is a gay man in Hollywood, working in show business then and now, who didn't/doesn't know about George's pool parties. While watching this Ryan Murphy dud, I did not realize that the simulated Academy Awards portion of the story was near the end of the series. So I painfully watched to the finish, just to be fair. Even though Ryan Murphy got some facts correct, his timeline is so bizarre, it made absolutely no sense to me. For instance, Henry Willson signed Rock Hudson in 1947. They did not part ways until 1966, and the well-known break up was not pretty. Ryan Murphy completely bulldozed over their long and complicated relationship, a time when Rock Hudson became one of Hollywood's most famous movie stars. Perhaps that was the story Murphy should have told. I cannot forgive the miscasting of Jake Picking as Rock Hudson. In the 50's, Rock Hudson was marketed as a major leading man movie star, and he rose to the occasion. Rock had eyes and a smile that could melt any onlooker. Jake Picking looks like a dweeb alien. I fully accept it is very difficult to find actors to play Hollywood icons. But if you can't get it almost perfect, then don't do it. I also thought the actress playing Vivien Leigh was miscast. I've spoken to a few showbiz friends in the past week about "Hollywood." They tell me "the critics" panned the series, saying it was Ryan Murphy's "worst." I didn't know what to say about that, since I've seen some pretty bad Ryan Murphy productions through the years. Nonetheless, he's a gay man in Hollywood with a lot of clout. On occasion, I think he shows genius. I'll keep looking for that. -

There are plenty of short men in show business, especially if you think 5' 9" is short for a guy. I could easily argue that the Sigourney Weavers and Allison Janneys are in a very small minority group. I'm sure the production team of "Hollywood" had height discussions. David Corenswet is 6'4", so he towers over Patti. But it appears to me they did not prop her up on a box when they shot side by side, at least not when standing. I think the sex scene took place on stairs, which may have been planned precisely because of their difference in height. -

At 4' 9'', Stephanie Mills is the shortest singer/actress I've ever worked with. Mary Martin was 5' 4". Patti LuPone is 5' 2". Short women (and men) have to be very careful about their weight, especially as they approach middle-age. Outside of show business, no one cares. But inside, almost everyone cares (even though many will not admit to it). -

I don't think 57% on Rotten Tomatoes constitutes a "disaster." And with an Audience Score of 78%, goes to show how desperate some people are for fancy-dressed fairy dust. Pushing for producer credit came later in Willson's life, after Rock Hudson dropped him. Rock Hudson was Henry's meal ticket, and when that relationship went south in 1966, Willson didn't have much left. Willson was so cruel, he threatened to throw acid on Rock's face to destroy him. By then, Willson was very sick from his own addictions. The evil that he was came to eat him alive. We all know what a self-hating gay is like. Giving someone like that power in Hollywood, a full-blown alcoholic, is a deadly trap. We can only imagine how many gay men feared and suffered at the hands of this predator. Willson had Mafia friends. Well, as Latbear4blk said, the show is a romantic fantasy of what Hollywood should have been like. Yippee! I'd rather watch porn. -

While I welcome varied and opposing opinions on everything -- no two people think exactly alike -- it's always fun when a stranger sees the same details and qualities that irk. Patti and her brother Robert spent most of their childhood on Long Island. Robert was born in Brooklyn. They hit the NYC theater scene before I did. Patti's older than I am. I first worked with her on Evita in 1979. Even though I haven't seen her recently, we have quite a long history. I have history with Robert, too. Bernadette tried hard to get a spot on Glee. I don't know any reason why she and Murphy shouldn't work together. Ryan is very good at employing favorite divas from our past, and I fully support keeping aging actors gainfully employed. Bernadette is a major talent who has kept and maintained her wonderful dancer figure. Bernadette still tours, and her show is always amazing. Not to be missed. -

You'd have to prove that to me. You said it. You're also a two-faced HYPOCRITE with ZERO credibility. -
If you're horny and you need a few releases, I just posted a 45-minute video of Jax and Robbie from Sean Cody. Super hot and fun. They have a special chemistry, and there's plenty of delicious ass munching. Don't forget, you have to join to visit the Porn Forum.

I'm not "concerned" about anyone's weight unless it's someone I'm fucking. No blubber bouncers for me. Curious is the word I would use. I'm curious why a so-called, self-proclaimed DIVA, always OVER-RATED IMO, who lets her short body go to hell in her elder years, and then accepts a TV part where she's supposed to play a tough, powerful, and glamorous Hollywood woman in the 1950's. Patti has always been very vain. I can't imagine what went on between the costumers of this bloated drag queen fantasy and Patti's huge ego. Now that's an episode worth taping. Ryan Murphy will survive. I'm sure there are plenty of tasteless queens around the globe who love this campy horse shit, especially the gay couch potatoes who have nothing better to do while stuffing their faces with chips and salsa in a pandemic -

I think it's absolutely dreadful. I had to stop watching after the utterly fake Academy Awards scene, with Rock Hudson kissing his Black lover, Archie, for all to see. What the fuck is Ryan Murphy smoking? Like most Ryan Murphy TV shows, Netflix's Hollywood is total camp fantasy. It's not the worst thing on television, but it's far from great. Period productions are not cheap. They're spending some serious money on this one, and most of that money should have gone to the unemployed freelancers. Still, for a gay audience, there is some fun eye candy. David Corenswet may be wearing too much make-up, but he sure looks sexy naked. His pairing with Judd Apatow's daughter is limp-wristed, but the marriage is supposed to be rocky. His character manages to fend off the gay predators, but the story would be far more interesting had he fallen prey, like so many straight men did in the 50's and 60's. Rob Reiner as a studio chief is perfect. Patti LuPone as his over-produced wife is a stretch. Patti has gained some serious weight in recent years. To play this part, she is corseted and wigged for RuPaul's Drag Race. One can only imagine her pain while shooting her scenes. The costumers wrapped her in so much fabric, thinking that might slender her down. Fail. She's too fat to do sex scenes with young Hollywood hunks. It's all embarrassingly laughable. I wanted to vomit as Corenswet went down on her to lick her pussy. You may have to look quick, but certain poses reveal how thick Patty is in the middle. They try to cover it with ridiculous sleeve tricks, but it all looks excessive. Jaye Picking would be fine as a high school jock on Glee, but he's no Rock Hudson. Awful casting. The fake teeth are SO BAD after he visits the dentist. Laura Harrier does not look real or believable to me as a Black actress of the time. I'm not buying her relationship with Darren Criss' character either. Criss may be straight in real life, but he films gay (or soft), no matter what you do with him. I love the mega talented Jeremy Pope but I think he's totally miscast as Rock Hudson's lover. I'm not convinced the Hollywood cameras like his face. He's better suited on stage. The self-hating homo scumbag agent, Henry Willson, is perfectly played by Jim Parsons,, wearing a ton of make-up. However, why the fuck can't the make-up artists match his face skin to his body? Willson must have been a monster in real life. He died a penniless addict with an unmarked grave. One can only imagine the famous cocks he sucked. Dylan McDermott as famous pimp Scotty Bowers is annoying, if you can get past that awful grey wig. Holland Taylor going after Joe Mantello made my skin crawl. I think she's old enough to be Joe's mother, and "Dick" is gay. Good grief. How the fuck did this shit get financed? There is a great story to be told about this time in history, but this isn't it. -

Sorry, but that doesn't make you special. -
I have always been lucky with straight guys. I don't really believe they're 100% straight. There are a ton of guys who lead straight lives but when the time is right, they expose their bisexuality. Many bisexual guys have not had first-time sexual experiences with other men. They may be curious, but many are timid about acting on their feelings. A fun gym is a great place to explore all that stuff. Most strangers think I'm straight. I had some twink-like qualities as a kid, but I learned how to squash all that post-puberty. Once I became an adult male, I fell deeply in love with masculinity. I could write a book on my sexual encounters with straight-looking men. I have terrible gaydar, and I'm often surprised when a straight guy touches me in the sauna only to find he wants to suck my cock. Most are not very good at sucking cock, so I take the initiative and I direct them. I have very good directing skills.

Getting back to SexyAsianStud's complaint: When asshole Jared Kushner speaks, his mouth wants to veer into a pitbull snarl. It's quite fascinating to watch. His smug body language is so organic. When the asshole Kushner proclaimed "Mission Accomplished" yesterday, praising Trump for his masterful handling of the Coronavirus tragedy, the internet went bonkers! There were so many tweets that just dogged the pretty boy pitbull. This one was one of my favorites: -

Buddy2, I honestly don't know what planet you're on, since you're no stranger to public trashing. Does your opinion deserve higher ground over someone else? What does sophistication have to do with being human? If I judged everyone by their imperfections, I'd be friendless and lonely, and spend every waking hour frolicking on an escort board. Where on this thread am I "defending" Steven Kesslar? I don't have time to read every thread on any board, but I have no personal knowledge of Kesslar "trashing so many people." On top of that, who is doing the characterization? One gay man's trashing is just another drag queen's read. We all know by now, Buddy2, what a drama queen you are. -

Good grief, isn't it obvious? Life on an escort forum. In case some members are going blind, lots of escorts have come and gone in the last twenty years, especially those who crossed hairs with the Daddy. -

The Politics Forum has always been a deranged space, long before Hooboy's death. Racism has always been a part of the gay community. I remember many fights on that board pre-Daddy. Hooboy's board was famous for the "meltdowns." Hooboy would actually shut the board down because he did not know how to control the TROLLS. He was quite bad at online forum management, but in fairness, it was all new back then. Many closeted conservatives, too, back in the day. I believe less now, but I'm not the authority. I never visit the Politics Forum there. I've always been open-minded with politics. I enjoy listening to all sides. On certain political details, like deficit spending and tax-payer money going towards abortions, I have conservative opinions. I've never been a Liberal lunatic. I like to solve problems, and I don't care who has the best ideas, as long as someone does. No question, I lean left of center. But one thing I know, not all gays think alike, about anything. Kesslar is a survivor. Most survivors have complicated relationships with Daddy. There was a war of words at one time. People can and do change. Daddy tends to forgive all escorts, no matter the offense. When private photos got published and Rick Munroe got banished and blamed, I was sure he would never be allowed to rejoin. I was wrong. I'm quite confident, even crazy JD Daniels could find his way back in. On the other hand, ordinary members are not given the same latitude. Behavior over there is arbitrary, even though no one will admit it. They're all in denial about their asshole status. -

Could somebody please explain to me… How do you fucking have a Politics Forum in your Online Community and forbid free-thinking members from expressing their honest opinions? The (Daddy) owner of that other escort site is totally incompetent. (As are his laughable mods.) He always was bad at this game. Even worse, he suffers from a god-complex, among other things. It's sad that a small number of loyal members, an extremely cheap and lazy bunch, cling to a dead legacy almost two decades old, supporting this buffoon and IT failure. Trump is an abortion as president. He is a complete and utter FRAUD. The Orange Orangutan will go down in history as the worst president we've ever had to this point. He was never meant to win. He was only after the publicity. The only thing his win proved: If you've got Reality TV talent, you can attract a lot of votes. America has no shortage of stupid, gullible people. Trump is a master carnival barker who knows how to manipulate his fans. America is paying the price for this AWFUL mistake. At this very moment in time, Americans are dying unnecessarily because of Trump's ignorance, insecurities, and pathological narcissism. God help us all. -
Judging by the age of this thread, looks like not many Homeland fans report here. I barely got through Season 7. When the showrunners focused on Carrie's bipolar disease, I thought the show was unwatchable. Season 7 is mostly bipolar Carrie. Season 8 was much better. Back to tension, drama, and spy mystery. Carrie was somehow cured. Then came the Series Finale. Absolutely dreadful. Hated it. I feel sorry for showrunners who have to write a season finale for a very popular drama series. Too many awful decisions have to be made, and many of those decisions will be hated by fans. I really enjoyed Season 8, except for the awful last episode. Carrie and Saul deserved better.

Lysol, Clorox, ultraviolet radiation; I don't care what the Trump cult members ingest as long as they triple the dose. The perfect ending to this cult.

M4M? At first I thought that was a massage site. Oh, you meant Daddy's. His board survives through the kindness of donations. That's like driving a car on gas fumes. Maybe his failing IT business is collecting PUA benefits. I'm sure he ran to the government every chance he had with his hand out. What can anyone expect from an owner who is deathly afraid of any scrutiny from the Feds? Daddy can't afford a parking ticket. He's essentially running an escort site in the U.S. and he doesn't want "child" or "children" appearing among his search data. Makes perfect sense to me.

Putting a smile on someone's face always brings me pleasure. Nope! Not for me. I can never just "do the deed." No McDonald's. No Dunkin' Donuts. I've spent way too much time in the grandest coffee houses of Europe. I tried very hard to invest in my favorite cafe in Rome, and I'm sorry to say the owners turned me down and that very special business creation eventually went under. Like I said, drinking exquisite coffee for me is a ritual. Only once a day at breakfast. If I have to travel to dreadful fly-over states on business, I always take my own beans. For me, cruising has its place. It's a question of manners and respect. And I'm pretty strict about this. If I am alone, I feel free to cruise at any moment, if I trust the man I'm cruising is also alone. If I share company with another man and our intention is to engage in conversation, my eyes are on his, and I prefer no wandering, no distractions. I will not share my table with someone on the prowl, or with someone's gaze stuck on his cell phone Grindr pages. That is not gay behavior I tolerate. Ever. I get that some guys are horny all the time. They're always on the prowl no matter the time or the place. I do what I can to avoid gay men like that. Back in my youthful days as a tall, blond twink in West Hollywood, I did the gay coffee shop Queen cruising scene at breakfast. I was young, selfish, and tacky. I have since grown up. I sincerely doubt you have me beat in this department. I have a long career interviewing professional male models, and that career has not ended. I, too, am a voyeur. But I prefer to respect manners and boundaries, especially if I'm sharing a coffee moment with a friend or companion.
