I just finished seasons 1 & 2 of You on Netflix. It has a bit of a Dexter vibe to it. I also liked Good Girls. Watched the first two seasons on Netflix and was able to watch season 3 via a combo of on demand and DVR. HBO's Barry is great. Very funny. It's about the struggles of a hit man who wants to quit killing and live a normal life rather unsuccessfully. And I'm currently watching The Morning Show via Apple TV. Very enjoyable so far. Great acting. Looking forward to seeing Hollywood soon too!

Damn... I've had my heart set on a trip to Bangkok in the spring for the last 6 months. I'm still tempted to go in March if the numbers remain low. The numbers (according to this website at least) are showing a total of 25 infected and holding relatively steady for the past week, not that that means much. If it remains that way (more or less) for the next 4-5 weeks, I think I will take my chances. The southern hemisphere seems relatively unscathed at this point, but I don't know anywhere in that area that offers what I like about Thailand. Besides, I'm comfortable there because I know the area fairly well.

Agreed. If you are a US citizen, it doesn't matter what the legal age is elsewhere - 18yo is the youngest you can play with. If there's a place where the legal age is 19/20yo etc., then go by those local laws. Otherwise, always 18 or older.

I was tempted to try and return under another name, even use a VPN to disguise my IP address, which was blocked. However, the more I thought about it, I realized I didn't need to contribute to the conversation there and share my sage wisdom, such that it is, with the clientele on that board. I can still peruse the boards and get info as needed, but contribute here. The main reason I still visit that site is for their massage section. Wow! I've never paid 3000 pesos for any guy in CDMX. Had some offers around 2500 pesos but even then I declined and then they would go lower. 1000-1500 is not too bad for foreigners but I will go up to 2000 if I'm getting everything I want out of the experience, like multiple extras. On my last trip, I was shopping around between a couple of guys, both the same price IIRC or very close (1200 or so?). I set up an appt with one and declined the other. He went quite a bit lower, around 750-ish. Had it not been my last day, I would have made arrangements to meet the next day. I stuck with the first guy though and was very glad I did. It was an explosively good time, possibly in my top 10 even! I will definitely be seeing him next time I visit, which might even be this month. Anyway, my point is 2000 pesos should be on the high side, but try to negotiate to something closer to 1000-1500. And you don't even have to negotiate per se. Just decline and let them make you an offer.

I've met Gago several times before. He's hit-or-miss at best. Rarely on time. He's pulled the "I want to bring my friend" routine on me too every time except for the first time we met. I wouldn't have done it the first time not knowing him at all for obvious safety reasons. I said no at first when he brought it up the second time we met, but then I thought about it. I felt like I trusted him enough. It was ok but not great. Met him a third time and he brought a different guy, who was amazing! The next time we met I asked him to bring the amazing guy again but I guess they don't talk anymore. He brought the other friend I had met. Gago could tell I wasn't thrilled and promised he'd be better this time. but unfortunately it was even worse. They were over an hour late, could hardly perform and the friend was out of shape despite Gago's assurance that his friend was better looking (like now he supposedly had a 6 pack). Yes, it's a 25% increase, but the amount isn't a very big difference in the grand scheme of things. THB1500 is about USD$50 and THB2000 is about USD$65. In this situation, I might negotiate to 1500 but still give the "extra" 500 as a tip. The same service in the States would be THB6000 (USD$200) minimum. Just my opinion.

I have learned to be very clear from the beginning of my wants/desires. I even have a page in the "notes" section on my iPhone with some basic translations for things like kiss/fuck/top/bottom etc along with a pic for each. (Make sure to use words that translate well like active/passive vs top/bottom when using a translating app and try to pick up on local slang, like rimming in Spanish is "besar negro," which translates to "black kiss" in English.) Anyway, be clear from the beginning and reduce payment accordingly if they don't perform as expected. I have had very few disappointments in Bangkok, maybe just two or three guys and I've visited about a dozen times in the last 15 years or so?
