  1. Who is managing the person's financial and healthcare affairs? I mean in the traditional setting where the person has family, the family usually manage the financial affairs, and coordinate the person healthcare, ie, looking for appropriate doctors, making deposit, paying the bills, and lot of medical treatments require consents. All these small things add up, some seniors are just not capable of doing all by himself.
  2. Good advice, I have done the appropriate steps for estate planning. In the mean time, I think the best way to handle your estate is to spend all your asset, enjoy your life and leave NOTHING behind.
  3. I am more interested in the caring and dying processes of old farangs in Thailand. Did Richard get good care before he died? Or was it a sudden death?
  4. No it was reported by the client. He posted here. He claimed to be an experienced player in Thailand too.
  5. Talk about easy money, someone posted he hired two muscle boys together to his apartment, and fondle him for 10 minutes, he ejaculated and that was all. I think he said he paid 2000 baht to each boy. 😁
  6. That's why I decided not to travel this summer, until late September. I wouldn't want to be in those big crowds, even traveling in business class.
  7. Perhaps I am a cold person, but I've never fell in love with any money boy. I pay for sexual pleasure, that's all. I don't seek any companionship from money boys, mostly because we wouldn't have anything interesting (to me) to talk about. If I am with a money boy in public, I won't tell people he is my boyfriend. And I would forbid him to tell people we are boyfriends, simply because we are not.
  8. Easy to say, but you still need someone to find a live-in caregiver for you, monitor/supervise, coordinate things, take you to appointments...etc. As I mentioned before, most caregivers are lowly educated. Anyone in Thailand speaking passable English would not do caregiver jobs. But, if you are in the Philippines, language won't be a problem, and caregivers there are cheap, very cheap.
  9. Not only medical insurance, you need someone to arrange your medical and business affairs. I hate to deal with the insurance and arranging doctor's appointments myself when I am sick. And what about long term care if you have non deadly illness such as strokes.
  10. I am a introvert and a loner. I usually don't open up myself when meeting people. But once people start finding about my wallet, they all want to attach to me, i.e., be my friends or boyfriends. This rule never failed, never. Money is not the king to me, but it is to the vast majority of people in this world.
  11. Years ago, I heard a farang had a sudden death at the massage table at Body Cub @Sukhumvit.
  12. We are not doing a scientific research here. But I bet the vast majority of the farang and boy relationships involve money, or free rent, free food, free trips. And that is totally fine as long as it works for both parties.
  13. Philippines export caregivers to foreign countries too. Their advantage is the ability to speak passible English. I personally know a few Filipino nurses in the U.S. I don't know if they are better than nurses of other nationalities. To be honest, most people don't want to be nurses or caregivers. In the U.S., most caregivers working in nursing home or private home are lowly educated, these jobs are just one step higher than janitors.
  14. Did those deceased members died in Thailand? Who took care of their dying processes and all the matters afterwards?
  15. Economy class is the same 13 hours. What I meant was, I fly business class, and 13 hours in business class is not difficult for me at all. That's why I say Thailand is only a 13 hour business class flight away. I am so sorry some people react to business/economy class issue so strongly.
  16. People change as they grow older. I had a 1.5 year long stay in Thailand 7 years ago. It was fun, but I got homesick, I think I actually prefer living in a familiar environment where I know exactly where to get things I want, and where I can communicate with anyone, and I know exactly how to get things done, and no double pricing(rent, real estate...etc) to foreigners. I am less horny and less adventurous now, so I think it's a good option to retire in my home in the U.S., and I have the money to enjoy a good quality life here anyway. I can always visit Thailand, it is just a 13 hour flight away (business class).
  17. I am not sure which piece of DNA makes me gay.😁
  18. I don't speak español, so I can only use Uber (or an other Taxi app in English). I think one of the problem is, the driver accepts your ride request but doesn't really want to go to your destination (not far enough, or not on his way home). So he just sits idle until you give up and cancel it (and pay a cancellation fee). Of course this doesn't cause any harm to the driver. But the customer spend all this time waiting, and have to pay the cancellation, to try another. And because the trip is canceled, you have no way to leave a negative review on the driver.
  19. Well, identical twins are supposed to IDENTICAL, aren't they?
  20. Perhaps the twin brother is gay too. I heard the possibility is very high for twins.
  21. Covid vaccines are plentiful everywhere now. The vaccines that are in shortage at the moment is Monkeypox vaccine (Jynneos). You can ask around in Thailand. I bet nobody has it.
  22. Many of us do all the same 5* hotels, Michelin restaurants, and a dozen offs as you do. But, PLUS the business class flight. There is nothing wrong with flying economy class. But some people just have the money to pay for ALL the nicer things in life, including business/first class.
  23. My last flight with Thai Airway was in 2019. BKK to Frankfurt business class on a very old/worn A350 plane, dirty/soiled/worn seats. Awful food: beef steak meat quality was bad, salmon fish was dry and overcooked. They have Thai main course, but I am not a fan of Thai food. Anyway, my biggest complaint was the dirty seat. FA was just OK. I will avoid TG if I can find alternatives.
  24. I was very impressed by Qatar's flight attendants. They are so humble, gentle, attention to detail.
