  1. I have only two more days in Baires, and they will be devoted to friends and family. I can report that Grindr is working great in the city. I ended up with a fuckbuddy from the Patagonia who have kept me busy and well serviced, so the only taxi boy I have hired is Eloy. By the way, he has dropped his escort ad and I am to sure whether or not is still active. A guy in the Foro Pirata asked me for Eloy's number, I sent a message to the boy asking for permission to share his number, and he has not responded. As useful information for the friends visiting, I can confirm that the travel agency where I change my US currency is open and active. You see the picture above, the address is Guido 1725, almost the corner with Rodríguez Peña. However, I would trust your hotel staff to trade cash. The local newspapers publish daily the changes in the exchange rates, look for Blue Dollar. Definitely, if you can avoid using your CC in Buenos Aires, you should sell your US cash in the Black Market, in small amounts depending on how long you plan to stay here. However, even if you decide to use your CC, the prices are low. Per example, I spent 15 bucks on a meal that in the USA would have costed me between 20 and 25, using my CC. Should I have paid with cash instead, my coast in dollars would have been 7 bucks. Much cheaper, but even the 15 bucks was an amazing price. Do not come to Buenos Aires looking for paid sex right now. If you can not hide your Gringo-ness, they will definitely try to take advantage of you. It is not a good moment for that right now. But the city's cultural life is striving after the lock downs (Argentine lock downs were some of the most strict ones in the world), I emphatically recommend the city to enjoy food and culture. I am planning to start a new blog with no age restrictions and will share more there. I am just very lazy right now. I tried to explore the night but I never survived awake until the local times. All the stripers and drag queens shows start at 2 AM or later. To make it worse, the strippers' pictures I have seen are not my kind. Guys closer to their 30s than to their 20s, and over muscular. I did not have time (or energy) to explore the local sex parties, that seem interesting and very active. So come to Buenos Aires for food, culture, and for free hook ups, but not for paid se right now. It is better to wait for the political and economic crisis to subside and then I am confident the paid sex market would be back to what used to be.
  2. My next traveling windows are Thanksgiving week in Nov and the 2 weeks of Winter Break. I am tempted by Rio, but I think my decision is weighting in favor of continuing my Colombian exploration. So this is a question for the Colombian savvy friends. I am considering going back to Medellin for one week in November (my 2nd visit) and visiting for 2 weeks Bogotá in Christmas and NY (my 1st time the Capital). Do you think it is a wise decision?
  3. I know s/he is reading this thread. I guess you may get a PM if s/he wants to drop the mask.
  4. I just checked it. I am not surprised I had never heard of it before. Thank you for he tip, you were the one who sent the PM! Muchas gracias.
  5. I love it when I am overestimated. Now, if you think you helped to clear out my lack of understanding, you are very wrong. However, I think the OP sent me a PM I have not yet read. Hasta la vista!
  6. I hate it when I do not understand a joke.
  7. The one thing I like of these developments is that they unmask the deeply undemocratic nature of American "model" democracy.
  8. Thanks. I should find out whether Mercosur citizens also have a better deal. Wishful thinking.
  9. I would extend this statement to the entire south of Rio Grande. All our countries have a National ID and we all are used to carrying it with us always, as the police has the right to demand your documentation and in most countries can detain you if you fail to produce it.
  10. Are the locals paying 50/60 dollars per month? I was paying less in my gym in DC, although I dropped my membership during the pandemic lock downs.
  11. I think it is reasonable safe during the day. That is why I do recommend at list one visit to the area DURING DAYLIGHT.
  12. As an additional thought... Why any real person would be concerned about their realness being questioned in a virtual forum? Why any real person would run to collect and share documentation and testimonies to prove their existence, if questioned in an anonymous virtual forum? I do not know what is worse, total trolls or totally dumb.
  13. I am totally illiterate on SE Asian culture. Would anyone explain to me why you are talking about a LINE, instead of a phone number? Gracias!
  14. Yes! I was mistaken! So I have not been in the Parque del Periodista.
  15. It looks like I have been in all the right places. 😇 I would not compare Parque Bolivar and Parque del Periodista (or de los Periodistas, not sure which one is the name). Indeed, I would avoid both places at night. But the daylight experiences are quiet difference in one or the other. Bolivar is a noisy and hyperactive hub where, as I pointed, you can observe a wide diversity of urban fauna. In contrast, Periodistas is a quiet, calm, and I would even say magic urban corner. It is hard to believe that the rapid waters are not clean but coming from the sewer. The water does not smell, and with its noise covers the traffic and other regular city sounds. It is like stepping into an oasis of calmed nature amidst the above urban craziness. I did not see police, tourists, sex workers of any kind, or anyone older than 30, I was the only dinosaur there. No one was talking. I only saw here and there lonely men and women, or couples, from very young (probably 12 y.o.) to mid 30s, consuming some substances. You could also notice in the grass drugs parafernalia left overs, not enough to say that the place was a dump. It was the perfect place to sit and smoke one of the empanados we had just bought.
  16. Do you know what, Mac? I would include the square in front of the cathedral as a touristic attraction DURING DAYLIGHT. If you are identifiable as a Gringo, I would go with a local companion. I found it fascinating. It is a mix of countless policemen ignoring what was going on around, lumpen teens smelling glue, above 50s y.o. local clients cruising for a cheap fuck, several hot working class young men smoking weed and hustling, countless non attractive at all-ill looking-young men obvious and desperately offering themselves, beautiful very young she-males (I do not know what the politically correct term would be nowadays, in my times I would have said transvestites), admirably standing under the sun with their wigs and inches of make-up, and not sweating not even a micro-drop groups of White and Asian tourists walking with a guide, grabbing their purses and cameras, close to each other like an infantry platoon opening their way in zombie apocalypse Female prostitutes (unlike their male counterparts, they were at least average looking, I did not notice any female junkies), doing their way to avoid their Fabulous competition Regular local men and women passing by, walking fast Retired men walking around street vendors In my opinion, it worths a visit. I specially enjoyed observing the interactions between the johns and the hustlers
  17. Homophobic attacks in Oslo and USA Supreme Court sanctioning Christian Theocracy. Nice Pride Month, this June 2022.
  18. I have to explore that area the next time. Last April, I walked around in the early afternoon. Definitely, based in what I saw under day light, I would not wander around the are at night, not even escorted by one or two friends. I would only feel safe in a large group. My local new friends also advised against walking around that area at night. They emphatically recommended me to visit the bars and clubs in the zone (I did not), but stepping out of a car at my destination, and calling for a car from the doors to return home.
  19. I said thin, not too thin.
  20. Full report on the first local taxi boy I met: https://ilikepinga.com/2022/06/23/eloy-from-buenos-aires/
  21. Absolutely. That is what I use saunas for. The sex you can have there is rushed and not very comfortable. I try the boys in the saunas (several ones in a single night), and pick the ones with the best rapport to meet comfortably in my place. Have fun!
  22. The few times I visited Rio, I booked any Airbnb well located and on my price range (my wallet is thin). I never had any issues bringing guys to my place, often more than one. I would advise you to book any property you like, and you will be fine. I stayed twice in Copacabana and once at Recreio dos Bandeirantes. Enjoy!
  23. You are right. I apologize, I will (try to) stop trolling the troll. I partially agree. I would not stop sharing information on real time, as @Slvkguy suggests, involving sex workers who advertise. Indeed, I will not share (anymore) information that would make possible to identify non publishing escorts or "sugar babies". Most sex workers who are out and publishing are used to dealing with harassers and other crazies. I have been sharing my experiences with escorts for many years now, and several times I have been targeted by these nuts. All those situations have been from my times hiring USA escorts, practice I have discontinued. These trolls would target my favorite regulars, mostly with text messages and emails, but also with calls and voice messages. The most common attack was calling the escort and telling him that I was HIV+ and was intentionally having bareback sex to spread the plague. Funny thing, this accusation was thrown even before I started PrEP, when I was not barebacking. Of course, the escort knew we were using condoms. The attacks continued after I started PrEP and would have condomless sex. Always, before and after PrEP, we would sit with my regular and read or listen to the messages together and laugh loud. I particularly remember someone who sounded like a very effeminate White guy, accusing me of infecting him (I am HIV -), amongst the several crazies running this kind of campaign. Only once I was able to identify, close to certainty, who was the harrasser. He was (is?) a Black escort who fell in disgrace in Daddy's site. He was so stupid as to call me to make threatening remarks after I wrote things about him he did not like, while calling my regulars as anonymous from the same numbers and without modifying his voice. I remember he had between 20 and 30 Google Voice numbers. My point is, interacting in the net involves this kind of risk. Anyone who is at least average smart and is participating in virtual spaces is aware of the risk of dealing with mentally ill people. Be careful with the info you share, but do not stop sharing information about people who is advertising and virtually interacting. If you share anything about a publishing professional and that information is misused, it is not your fault or responsibility. The targeted professional will knows this, if he is not totally stupid. I have learned to stop sharing info that would allow to identify, for instance, saunas' GPs. I have not had any attacks (or I have not learned about any) targeting the saunas' GPs I praised in the past, however I am now aware of the risk. But in my opinion, sharing about guys who have a profile up, is legit.
