Contrary to a couple reviews I read elsewhere online, Action Bar is very clean, very modern and 100% hot trade. First, I checked Haberlo and the Funny Carrot, the two adjacent to each other hustler bars. AWFUL. Basically the same ugly trash that has taken over Tabasco in Berlin. But Action Bar---WOW. Action is located in a basement just off trendy Kalvin Terz. in Ezerbeth. You have to look for the building number 42 and it has a rainbow flag and big "A" on the door and a blinking "bar" sign. It seems very new and modern so maybe it was remodeled. It has some connection with Bel Ami which is in nearby Bratislava. The live sex show is advertised as midnight; when you get inside the sign says 1am; and it actually starts about 1:30 am. The two performers were young porn stars I've seen in films. First was a nude dance by a muscle-bound guy, then live sex by two very good-looking guys. On it's website Action actually shows the two performers who will have sex on stage that week. They do kissing, stripping each other then mutual sucking followed by fucking. The sex show lasts about a half hour. Not only the performers but several other hustlers show up in the bar. There's a room with slings, etc and then two locked rooms you can have your "date" in. Many of the guys leave with customers after a sample in a room. Basically like Drake's in Prague.Cover is just 1000 HF, about $4. Drinks are cheap and they run a tab. There was a muscular very good-looking guy I wanted but he got snapped up as did a slender blond. So I don't know the rates yet. I'm sure there're less than Prague. One of the performers said something to me as I was leaving but not in English. He was a georgous dark-haired blue-eyed musuclar guy.The guys are about evenly divided between blond and dark hair. I'm here for a week so I'm sure I'll find out everything. Tomorrow night, Saturday, is "oral-academy" where customers have oral sex with the performers. 100% rock-hard large endowments. Summary of 3 Days: Berlin easily has the biggest gay scene in Europe and the trade scene is part of German gayness. On my last night I went to several of the many gay bars around Fuggerstrasse and surrounding blocks and the guys are really amazing and many young guys are on the streets and in the bars looking for whatever. I stumbled on one called ReiseBar that is a combination bar and sex chamber where you have to be buzzed in. There was a young guy hanging out in the sex part who seemed to be there for income.There was a naked party at another I didn't go in, and several attractive guys milling around the streets Also I went to the Zoo Bahnhof area which used to be the trade scene, Although the toilets there are now pay, there are an amazing number of the best looking guys in the world hanging around the area. Hundreds of real stunners. Many seemed very plyable. If I had more time.... The Tabasco scene is simply very dangerous. When the bartender watches while two guys hold you and take the money from your wallet it's just not safe. Even taking precautions not to have much cash on you any of the trade there would be very dangerous to take home. It's almost all Romanian Romas (gypsies) and some north-African arabs. The scene is not to trick, the scene is to rob. I saw 1 decent-looking German one night at Blue Boy Bar and 1 not very good looking one at Tabasco. I didn't see a single Roma or arab in any of the other bars or on the streets. Tomorrow I go to Budapest but I fear the trade scene all over Europe has been taken over by this crowd.

Very bad experience 2nd night. First I went to Blue Boy Bar which seems to attract a little better crowd. But the one good-looking German guy was occupied with two clients. Stopped in another bar called of all things Boy Toy (or Toy Boy?) bar. Only a couple people were there. So I went back to Tabasco. A short good looking guy who said he was Bulgarian followed me in and started talking. Before I knew what was happening he and another guy were grabbing all over me----unfortunately it was for the wallet. Dumb I had about 300 euros in it which all vanished in a second. I guess I was lucky he didn't get any credit cards and even more lucky I didn't bring him back to my hotel. The bar's attitude was sort of so what...... Funny I take all sort of precautions in places like Columbia, etc. but I've always felt totally safe in Berlin. Unforunately you're not dealing with Germans or Poles in Berlin anymore.

I'm currently visiting in Berlin for 3 days and then to Budapest. Just got here today so I'll update later. Just went to Tabasco. The Tabasco/Pinnocio/BlueBoy complex hasn't changed one bit in the 35 or so years I've been visiting. A supermarket of guys- between the 3 bars and the small park next door and the street in front there were about 50 at 9pm on a Monday night. For those who complain that the "scene" has disappeared- it's still here same as ever. I miss the many Polish guys who used to be there. There are some Romanians and many Turkish-Germans. The majority now by far are North African-Arabs and the guys are overly pushy now. They grab you constantly and are hard to get rid of. I just walked back to my hotel room as I don't feel comfortable carrying much money there and want to put stuff in my safe in case I do bring anyone back. The beautiful gay Nollendorfplatz neighborhood has gotten extremely nice but is still incredibly cheap for tourism. I have a 4-Star hotel 3 blocks from Tabasco and 1 block from KaufhausDesWesterns department store for $59/night taxes included. Any suggestions? I know about laundro.mat but doubt I'll venture to it. Poland probably has the most attractive blondes with fine features in the world. That's why so many models are Polish. Never been to Kracow, only Szczecin (the old Stettin) outside Berlin several times but the average Pole looks like your date and not sure there's a word for "No" in Polish. That's the thing-- they may be great but where do you hook up IN Bratislava? I read there was a m/m sauna-boy type place on the outskirts. It would be hit-or-miss. I'm headed to Budapest for a week in early May with a 3-day stop-over in Berlin. I'm wondering if a 2-day sidetrip to Bratislava, Slovakia is worth it. Although it's the home of Bel Ami and many of the models live there, it seems to have less action than Budapest.

Prepagos are nightly in the bars and on the street of Calle 57A where it meets Oriental, the main street. There's a gay sex hotel in that block and they're all over Candaleria. They're not nice.
