  1. A friend sent this.
  2. Yesterday I shopped again at the crowded ghetto WalMart in DC that was on national news twice in a week first when an elderly woman pepper-sprayed everyone else in an elevator and then when a shopper shot an Uber driver who asked him to wear a mask. I'm hoping this shows I'm immune. Probability of infection isn't just geographic.
  3. Empty parking. Thanks, that means a whole lot. Superkalafragalisticexpialidocious Thank you, I know how hard that was for you to say.
  4. El mundo. Oh, that means the world to me.
  5. The widow says "Thank you. That means a lot".
  6. I know this is true for most Slavic languages, including Czech. And it's worse in reverse since the guys rarely use the multitude of accent marks they formally have. Czech to English comes out jibberish. I send the original English and the translation both.
  7. It's not like I'd toss Macron out of bed either and there's a widespread opinion that he is gay.
  8. Yes, it's for visitors from Red Zone countries. I think governments are quickly realizing that allowing people in with a test makes sense. It seems to be popping up all over Europe. The 14-day quarantine is much less safe and very hard to enforce. I'm in a "Couples Separated by Travel Bans" group on FB and Denmark and Netherlands are already allowing "lovers" in from the US with little proof and no tests. I suspect the US being allowed in, even with tests, depends on reciprocity, as the EU has told China and Asian countries otherwise eligible they won't get in without reciprocity. The EU has to do this because the image of an "EU" will be shattered when 1 country goes it's own way (as Croatia did originally). Of course some tests are simple and quick and free or low-cost while others are expensive and take days.
  9. Following the trend in the EU (and hopefully worldwide) France is about to allow Americans back in with (evidently a free?) test in the airport. Coronavirus: tests will be systematized at airports for travelers from countries classified red, announces the government People who have already taken a test in their home country should be able to prove it at the airport, government spokesman Gabriel Attal said on BFMTV. https://www.francetvinfo.fr/sante/maladie/coronavirus/deconfinement/coronavirus-gabriel-attal-annonce-une-systematisation-des-tests-dans-les-aeroports-pour-les-voyageurs-venant-de-pays-classes-rouge_4043441.html?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&Echobox=1594570346&fbclid=IwAR3NzNl-7SjEt9K_2pIDxNdZjMCxZOIDDLCUvkzDF2PCzawKZbqFLkP3GYY#xtor=CS1-746 Just as interesting, the new policy was announced by President Macron's spokesperson openly gay Minister of Health Gabriel Attal. Sorry Dr. Fauci, sorry Mayor Pete but.... His husband:
  10. Unfortunately the worst of "normal" is rearing it's head again. Murders in big city ghettos like Chicago and DC stopped but now are suddenly back at full carnage. Standstill traffic and it's pollution is halfway back and the Amazon's back on fire. Now we're just lacking a war. Sometimes it seems advanced civilization isn't. We have chances like this to rebuild differently but we never take them. All we got was Zoom.
  11. Mama'd love the Maldives. And they opened today with no restrictions. https://www.dansdeals.com/more/coronavirus/maldives-will-reopen-july-15th-without-restrictions-will-travel/
  12. I made up the list of Americans to be assassinated for Obama.
  13. To celebrate here's a picture of some cock:
  14. I passed on Old Guard after watching a half hour. What I was surprised at was the Jeffery Epstein 4-part on Netflix. Wow. Unfortunately I've found there's 100+ each episodes of The Office (20 min) and Shameless (US) (50 min) on Netflix so whenever I think "I can kill 20 minutes" I turn one on. Two or three hours later I regret how little I've gotten done. Probably better to stick with a 1 hour allotted time each night for an episode of a new streamer. I think maybe there are addictive subliminal messages hidden in those old junk cable series.
  15. and King James sucked at Greek.
  16. Where do you think international law is taught? And I mentioned before having a US graduate law degree in international law, diploma in international public law from the Hague Academy, certificates from Paris 2 (Sorbonne) and Brussels in civil and EU law, and plenty of that included "foreign policy". None of which matters because realizing the US as being a military-corporate-welfare state shouldn't take much more education than a person of normal IQ has.
  17. War is usually nothing but debt. Economic growth is building and investing in things that produce wealth, not things that produce nothing. But war industry is a quick fix to employ tens of millions of people at decent jobs and funnel taxpayer money to the wealthy in war businesses. (and the borrowing makes a dime for the bankers too). Socialism for the rich.
  18. lol....Eisenhower is the one who warned us in his farewell speech that during his administration the military-industrial complex had taken over the country and our economy. Today half our discretionary US budget is military corporations and they are careful to manufacture worthless "weapons" they charge the government small fortunes for in every state and Congressional district they can to get pork barrel support. (Elizabeth Warren is a huge military spender because of her state). A big part of the US budget is the F-35 garbage who's fuel supply planes would be shot down by China within minutes rendering them useless. (The expensive weapons systems are mostly garbage solely for pork barrel. The future is low-cost cyber warfare and drones.) Our military production has almost nothing to do with defense and everything to do with keeping our war industry economy going). and btw- The Great Depression dragged on throughout the 30's New Deal and even got worse in '38. The New Deal was mostly social programs to give people money and benefits plus a dam or two. War preparation got everyone working.
  19. The cornea the better.
  20. Zagreb guys on RM charge RM prices but off RM they are much less. Everything's in flux. Croatia now requires a test and Germany is also evidently letting the US in with tests. They have tests at FRA and MUC you can pay (200) for. Rules are bending fast. https://www.dw.com/en/traveling-to-germany-questions-and-answers/a-54124541
  21. Get real. It's just a very well-paying job. Politicians don't believe the garbage they say.
  22. I've read scholars and scientists equally on both sides. Never seen such a split. IF there was a Jesus, he probably was married with kids and buried in an ossuary tomb. Maybe a zealot or well known to his people but not Rome famous. And all the miracles were later embellishments. The James ossuary ,if it's inscription is original, would indicate Jesus was famous. (It seems original). Never seen more scholars fighting.
  23. It's a new ballgame. If you're flying then you still have to go through non-Schengen passport controls sometimes. I've never figured out when they pop up.
