  1. Mineiro. The name he uses there is Mineiro.
  2. Then why even bring it up in a public forum? And no, I don’t know your reasons for not wanting to walk around Copacabana (the most tourist-centric area in all of Brazil) or Centro. They could be very legitimate concerns or they could just be based on stereotype or paranoia.
  3. What do you think prevents you from doing this? I’m genuinely curious.
  4. Never say never, or just keep your eyes and ears open more. The last towel guy at 117 (who worked there for a few years before leaving — short, indigenous guy) was notorious amongst clients for directly asking for tips. Regarding your bill at ANY sauna, you should always check your line items on the screen before checking out. The same happens at all of them — sometimes it’s human error, and other times it could be a scam. Also, never let a GP take your key or order anything on your behalf — it’s too easy for them to order something you didn’t authorize (for themselves or friends). Some frequent clients have enough of a personal relationship with the bartenders so they know not to allow anything on their tab from a GP unless the client gives the okay to the bartender himself, but I realize not every visiting client can build that kind of rapport. So, guard your own key, locker number and tab.
  5. Clube 11 is the former Sauna Planetario. Name change may have occurred about 5-6 years ago? The correct address is: Clube 11, R. José Duarte, 11 - Tororo, Salvador - BA, 40050-050, Brazil. However, in Google maps, the image and location that shows up is a yellow building down the block. It’s actually in this all blue building with an 11 painted near the door — but the map would have this building’s address as 87. Brazil is like that a lot.
  6. And not even a good snappy comeback at that! She really thought she ate!
  7. No, a passport is a travel / identification document specific to the country in which you are a legal citizen. It is applied for and received through that country’s State Department. A visa is a travel entry document for the country in which you wish to visit or stay for a protracted period of time — and it often / usually comes with restrictions and time limitations. It is applied for at that particular country’s embassy or consulate in your home country.
  8. Same here. Been twice, not my cup of tea. But it’s something to do to break the monotony if you have a great deal of time here and a good group of friends to catch the ride with. I wouldn’t recommend it at all for those on a short tourist trip.
  9. I don’t think they “worked together” in the way it seems you’re probably thinking about, as in being hired together. They just both worked at the saunas and both did programas. But if you want to know about people and what makes them tick, I simply suggest meeting them and taking a seemingly genuine interest in their lives. That seems to have worked for me for a lifetime far better than trading any second- or third-hand accounts on the internet.
  10. Yeah that one works too. Just walk up to the counter and take a pointer and make motions like your sticking it up your hole. They will understand perfectly.
  11. There was about an 18-year age difference, one was in his early 20s at the time. I don’t know what age you consider “matures”, but I get into muscular, masculine men who are men, not guys who look like they need to be carded or chaperoned by their mommy, and over the years, including now, there have been and are a few working garotos at the saunas (not a lot) that are probably in their late 30s to early 40s. I just remembered after reading @Tomcal’s last post that I also did meet an uncle/nephew combination at the saunas. That age difference was maybe 10 years.
  12. Enema, or ducha.
  13. No, you freak.
  14. In Rio, I have had a few sets of cousins on my roster — as well as brothers, and even a father/son combo.
  15. Pretty much any pharmacy on the main drags in Ipanema (Rua Visconde de Pirajá) and Copacabana (Avenida Nossa Senhora da Copacabana) sell them. There are pharmacies / drogarias on every block there.
  16. Now would be a great time for a reminder that the original comment in question was referring to “Black Latinos” or Afro-Latinos — thus making the reply from the blathering, neurodivergent, socially awkward poster who ranted against it even THAT more kooky.
  17. Come on, man. Get serious. I’ve had the unpleasant experience of being in the same room with you. You can’t even attract attention even with $100 bills Velcro’ed to your forehead. And still you try to reach out to people here both publicly and privately to make connections. And famously, with horrible results.
  18. Wow. No wonder you have no real friends.
  19. I’ll be quite happy to peruse through your many posts over the years and point out where, in an attempt at braggadocio, you indirectly in your extremely odd and socially awkward way of speaking outed garotos and gogo boys that you were interested in, to those of us who know.
  20. You’ve literally admitted on numerous posts that you like to surf various IG, FB and TikTok pages of muscular Brazilians, looking to scoop up new conquests. Don’t all of a sudden try to pretend that when a social media address is posted on a gay sex tourism website, your interests are simply pure and selfless and you will only stop at hearing a heart-warming, poor-favela-kid-makes-good story. No one here has posted any identifying information, other the OP — on a separate platform that he identifies in his own post (and workers from two separate sex tourism destinations / nations, no less!). The unnecessary embellished feel-good story should have been omitted, especially with the added social media info.
  21. Maybe you should have addressed this instead to the oversharing OP regarding his (or rather, “the owner he met”) employees and not-so-carefully cropped photos on a message board about gay sex travel.
  22. For a one-in-a-million feel-good sauna story, the owner met his key worker at the sauna when he was a garoto. This ambitious former garoto traveled to the USA with the owner to promote the coffee and help land North American distribution deals.
  23. I have said before that the shelf line of a garoto tends to be 3-5 years, max. It can be a very psychologically draining form of employment, for those who are not soulless.
  24. Some love hotels are much safer than others. See the thread titled RIP Kadu
  25. If you’re unsure, maybe get a really secure love motel instead of taking him to your AirBnB or hotel. That’s not a 100% safe but it’s safer than bringing an unknown to your place or going to his.
