Interesting about the 3D perspective but not sure that would be something that would be a big deal to me. It will be fascinating to see how things go from here with this phone. Here are a couple links to articles related to their new phone and their strategy: 4 Reasons The Amazon Fire Phone Will Failhttp://www.forbes.com/sites/jeanbaptiste/2014/06/19/4-reasons-the-amazon-fire-phone-will-fail/ Amazon's Phone Might Be Called Fire, But Its Strategy Hardly Sizzleshttp://www.forbes.com/sites/markrogowsky/2014/06/18/enough-already-fire-phone-and-amazons-foolish-quest-to-make-the-everything-store-into-the-everything-company/ Also regarding your comment about the only thing you don't buy at Amazon is your fresh food but you are sure they will find a way to sell that to you as well, rest easy as they have already started in select markets on the west coast of the US...Amazon Fresh https://fresh.amazon.com/welcome

Interesting that the top performers, of name brands listed, are pizza. Also interesting how far KFC's ratings dropped (as well as Subway). -

Turns out starving is good for you.

Not sure I've mentioned this in a previous thread or not but I've been working on slowly losing weight over the last eight or so months. My belief is slow and steady, with changes to lifestyle, primarily eating habits and exercise. No surprises there. What I discovered for myself is that one of my biggest obstacles was the demon alcohol...the before dinner cocktails just stimulated my appetite (as well as adding calories) so I have had to limit my drinking to just weekends (and make sure I don't make up for the rest of the week in those two days) and go for gin (or vodka) with diet tonic as a relatively low cal before dinner cocktail (especially at this time of year). What I also found was that it was good for me to mix up lots of different methods for eating over the last six months. Fasting for a period of time, then all vegetarian diet, then very low carb diet, then small meals every 3 hours, then mostly liquid (non-alcohol) diet, etc etc. I think it is good to "confuse" the body so it can't get used to any one of them. Throw in some added exercise and significantly increase water intake and I can get consistently between .5 to 1 lb per week loss. Still have another couple months to go at this rate to get to my goal but I am confident it will be reached. And btw, from a psychological standpoint, I follow the strict rule to weigh myself only once per week (same day and time) so as to avoid any discouragement from natural fluctuations on a daily basis. -
Don't let that stop you from having pleasure hito, until you find a real (or otherwise) husband. Just slip a condom over the dildo and dispose of it after use....no more worries about having to clean it For every problem, there is a solution.

Totally agree....if he has turned over a new leaf then let him show it by changing his behavior. Time will tell.

To prove Coke does not belong in the human body, here are 20 practical ways you can use Coke as a domestic cleaner: Removes grease stains from clothing and fabric Removes rust; methods include using fabric dipped in Coke, a sponge or even aluminum foil. Also loosens rusty bolts Removes blood stains from clothing and fabric. Cleans oil stains from a garage floor; let the stain soak, hose off. Kills slugs and snails; the acids kills them. Cleans burnt pans; let the pan soak in the Coke, then rinse. Descales a kettle (same method as with burnt pans) Cleans car battery terminals by pouring a small amount of Coke over each one. Cleans your engine; Coke distributors have been using this technique for decades. Makes pennies shine; soaking old pennies in Coke will remove the tarnish. Cleans tile grout; pour onto kitchen floor, leave for a few minutes, wipe up. Dissolves a tooth; Use a sealed container…takes a while but it does work. Removes gum from hair; dip into a small bowl of Coke, leave a few minutes. Gum will wipe off. Removes stains from vitreous china. Got a dirty pool? Adding two 2-liter bottles of Coke clears up rust. You can remove (or fade) dye from hair by pouring diet Coke over it. Remove marker stains from carpet. Applying Coke, scrubbing and then clean with soapy water will remove marker stains. Cleans a toilet; pour around bowl, leave for a while, flush clean. Coke and aluminum foil will bring Chrome to a high shine. Strips paint off metal furniture. Soak a towel in Coke and lay it on the paint surface. Read More: http://www.trueactivist.com/20-established-uses-for-coke-proves-it-does-not-belong-in-the-human-body/

Fascinating and thanks for posting htis PasadenaCA....here is a link with a short video segment that shows a bit of what transpired, including the restoration process that helped determine it was an original. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-25535536

I think a thank you note by mail or email, or even a phone call are all acceptable to me and expected in situations where I send something.. I don't necessarily expect a thank you note if a gift is given in person and acknowledged with an individual thank you at that moment they receive and open the gift. It is nice when they still do followup and send a thank you but it's not as a big deal to me if they don't in those specific instances. Not sure when or why the tradition of thank you notes went out of fashion, but it is something that I personally think isn't a good thing. Seems to be part of the "me" generation. Very unfortunate.

Federal Police Threaten World Cup Strike

Well you must somehow fit the "profile" look of a bank robber of sorts such that they don't want you to enter...you must be a very scary and shady looking character, at least to them -
Why aren't there any high resolution videos of UFOs or aliens?

Perhaps we are a rest area or pit stop on the intergalactic highway. Or maybe we are an "ant farm" for their amusement -
You have me stumped...what is the answer and what does it have to do with sidewalks?

Apparently he hadn't heard of the "Prime Directive" I'll proffer some possible explanations, in addition to the one stated by CharliePS, and you can take your pick (or add more): 1. The UFO's are time travelers and if any photos of significance are taken then they go back to before it was taken to make sure it doesn't happen. 2. The governments of the world have colluded (or maybe just the NSA alone) to surreptitiously introduced into all recording devices a way to make all UFO pictures fuzzy. 3. Cloaking devices have gotten much much better and reliable. 4. Government defense spending cutbacks. -
I was aware of freemasons but never had a strong understanding of what/who they are so hearing that being one led to automatic excommunication was quite interesting. The rather weak and unsubstantiated claim that Pope John XXIII was one comes off, to me at least, as just a pretext for an ultraconservative group to justify their actions. Nevertheless, I did find the documentary quite well done and fascinating to watch. As PasadenaCA indicated, they are much more interesting than most (all?) other reality shows. Thanks for posting and sorry for the delay in responding but I had to find a block of time to watch it uninterrupted.

Allow me to echo the sentiments expressed by everyone else and wish you the best as well as thank you for your valuable contributions.

Ever since Expat posted their audition (thank you Expat) I have been waiting for more from this group. I came across their semi-final performance (can't seem to find anything in between the audition and the semi-final so if anyone finds something, I would really enjoy seeing it). I Suppose at this point I would consider myself a "collabroator"

You may get your wish....if not right away then hopefully soon. It had terrible ratings and a significant drop off from the lead in show (American Idol). As the article below points out, it was up against some heavy hitting finales. So I imagine another week or so and it may be gone. http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/05/21/i-wanna-marry-harry-ratings/

I don't get it...not that anything has to be logical in a military coup I suppose....but what are they afraid will be on the air or be seen by more people after 10pm than before? Does something magical happen in Thailand at 10pm?
