    Irony

Well I didn't really know what to expect when watching that but I have to say it was quite interesting and enjoyable. A different perspective, one that I can not fully understand but I do appreciate her as someone who not only looks at things differently but walks the talk (even if she does apparently have a wealthy husband). And yes there is some irony with him making his wealth by the more traditional ways than she is talking about. Glad you posted the link to that video. I enjoyed it.

    Bieber's Bum

Most pics I see of him lately show him kind of slumped shouldered. Maybe that is the cool way to look these days but it looks so uncool to me. Someone needs to tell him to stand up straight :-) Other than that he is a real cutie.
  3. Ok, you started it Expat....here we go: Punography: I tried to catch some Fog. I mist. When chemists die, they barium. Jokes about German sausage are the wurst. A soldier who survived mustard gas and pepper spray is now a seasoned veteran. I know a guy who's addicted to brake fluid. He says he can stop any time. How does Moses make his tea? Hebrews it. I stayed up all night to see where the sun went. Then it dawned on me. This girl said she recognized me from the vegetarian club, but I'd never met herbivore. I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I can't put it down. I did a theatrical performance about puns . It was a play on words. They told me I had type A blood, but it was a Type-O. A dyslexic man walks into a bra and ordered a martini. PMS jokes aren't funny, period. Why were the Indians here first? They had reservations. Class trip to the Coca-Cola factory. I hope there's no pop quiz. Energizer bunny arrested. 4. A man goes to an oral surgeon to have a tooth extracted. The dentist takes out a syringe to give the man a shot. "No way! No needles! I hate needles". the patient said. The dentist starts to hook up the laughing gas and the man objects. "I can't do the gas thing. The thought of having the gas mask on is suffocating to me!" The dentist then asks the patient if he has any objection to taking a pill. "No objection," the patient says. "I'm fine with pills." The dentist then returns and says, "Here's a Viagra tablet." The patient says, "Wow - I didn't know Viagra worked as a pain killer!" "It doesn't" said the dentist, "but it will give you something to hold onto when your tooth comes out."
  5. Granted made for TV and for dramatic impact, but may provoke some thinking. What do you think and do you agree or disagree with what is being said? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16K6m3Ua2nw&feature=player_embedded
  6. Very troubling indeed. One has to wonder about the type of people he surrounds himself with and may not have his total best interest in their motives. Start with the often attitude of youth of being invulnerable and add lots and lots of money, adoration by tons of fans giving a sense of being above it all, an industry known for many unhealthy activities, etc then it takes a very special person to be able to avoid problems. He's an adult now so he is responsible for himself, ready or not. I only hope he realizes before it is too late to get his act together.
  7. ewww...so if I understand what you are saying, their pee is raining down on unsuspecting individuals on the ground? Maybe I've had golden showers without even knowing, lol.
  8. Sad news indeed. I really enjoyed her in most everything I saw her act in. I especially remember her in her sitcom "Valerie", maybe because there were some cute guys playing her children (Jason Bateman, Danny Ponce and Jeremy Licht) and I was about the same age as the youngest. She was really a good actress.
  9. One has to wonder where is the humanity at times like this. If they had that policy because of fear from lawsuits, they were sorely misguided as I imagine some big suit is coming their way due to their inaction (or should I say indifference). As Four aces says, very painful to hear.
  10. I've always hired moderately over the many years since I started with escorts. By moderately I mean every few months, so on average 3 to 4 times a year. I've found that a good pace for me to keep things exciting. I truly enjoy the process of finding a new/different escort to hire, making the detailed arrangements and I get a thrill from the anticipation of the meeting. That frequency also fits well into my preference for longer appointments (like overnights or evenings). Occasionally, like on a vacation, I will deviate from that and hire more frequently but that is the exception rather than the rule for me. I've tried a three-way only once. Somehow I felt I needed to at least try it to know one way or the other whether I would like it or not. Turns out I didn't enjoy it that much and wasn't for me. I never have regretted the money spent overall, but of course there have been some occasional dud where that money spent was regretted.

    Yahoo

It is just ok for me, probably not much difference from what I've been accustomed to from Yahoo. I haven't really checked out any other home pages so any advice or suggestions on which one's people prefer?
  12. So sorry to hear of her passing, RIP
  13. +1 for crimson and clover. Btw, not that it matters or isn't evident, but I remember reading somewhere that Joan Jett has never really come out "officially" as a lesbian or bi. If the OP will allow me to add to his list of possible favorites, I personally think Freddie Mercury's "Somebody to Love" is pretty good and worth consideration. I'll try inserting the video here (my first attempt on this site so hopefully it works):
  14. Amazing pics. It would be interesting to know the age they were at the time of the pic. Well I am sure they lived hard in their youth and that was a major factor in how they look now. Maybe it was worth it
  15. Very interesting summary of the host's performance. I watched it and was not impressed overall (but there were some things that I did laugh out loud at). Definitely a very tough spot for anyone that hosts the Oscars. With Seth as host, and his background in sophomoric humor, you pretty much got what one would expect. Nothing wrong with sophomoric humor (when done well) and I personally like it at times. However, I think his humor is more geared towards a younger audience and as such he missed the target with a significant portion of attendees and viewers. I did read somewhere that viewership in the key segment of 18 to 30something was up significantly. Not that he can take all credit but probably some. I suspect that is what the producers were aiming for but I think he alienated quite a few out of that segment so on balance it was a bust. And, in my opinion, he doesn't really have the credits for such a big gig. Being a producer/writer of Family Guy and one movie (that I am aware of), Ted, just doesn't give him enough standing to be a host of the Oscars. That takes a whole different skill set and experiences I would say. Having said that, with never having hosted a live awards show before or anything similar in scope, he does deserve some high marks for having the cajones to give it a try and probably did better than many others with similar background/experience would have done. And he does have versatility as far as talents as TY said. It is just that the material did not quite click with many people. I think also he is a relative unknown with many viewers (over a certain age) and as such there isn't much tolerance for anything that might be off the mark or less than stellar. People tend to be more forgiving to those that they are familiar with and have already built a liking for. All in all, not a good night for Seth and the Oscars.
  16. It always catches my attention when in British television shows they mention fags, as in cigarettes (like "where are my fags") . Now fags in this sense is definitely something i find offensive :-)
  17. For me it is about context and intent. It is difficult for me to vote in absolute terms but I did vote sometimes as that is probably the most realistic for me. I tend to not necessarily be offended but rather discount or dismiss the message and messenger if it is used in a pejorative way (as I interpret it).
  18. When I was living in the UK several years ago I used Gaydar with pretty good results http://www.gaydar.co.uk/ One guy that I met and meets many of your criteria was Theo Richards. Not sure which of them might be deal breakers for you. He has reviews at the other site. I can't find his ad at this point but if I do I will post it. Very interesting to talk to. hung - long more than thick; rock-hard; cut.- about 8" to 9", but uncut upstanding cock - pointing upwards (straight or banana-like); definitely not drooping.- My recollection is that it stood at full attention. body - from twink to muscular; no bodybuilders - fits between twink and muscular. smooth/shaved to little hair; not hairy, no facial hair - Little to no hair as I recall.
  19. Perhaps not every time but one has to realize that this is only his second album and a commercial failure would put a lot of pressure on him for a success in his next as two failures in a row at this point in his career could be a significant issue for his long term viability with record labels. There are many one hit wonders who couldn't capitalize on their initial success and have pretty much disappeared. Not saying this (or wishing this) about Bruno's future as the outcome of the commercial success of this second album is unknown at this point. Anyway, hopefully he can to continue make music he likes and also be a commercial success.
  20. For those that put stock in what the critics write, it has gotten about equal positive and mixed reviews (with no real negative ones): http://www.metacritic.com/music/unorthodox-jukebox/bruno-mars It is kind of interesting to read the different reviews and see how some critics react so differently, It's like did they listen to the same album? Ultimately it all comes down to tastes and preferences. I guess we can say that what really matters will be the sales of the album. Time will tell. I did not see it but read somewhere that he gave a great performance at the Grammys ( think the reviewer called it "electrifying"). As for myself, I probably won't be able to give my own view of it as I am rather indifferent to him and don't really listen to his music as part of my usual music selection.
  21. Three friends -- two straight guys and a gay guy -- and their significant others were on a cruise. A tidal wave came up and swamped the ship; they all drowned, and next thing you know, they're standing before St. Peter. First came one of the straight guys and his wife. St. Peter shook his head sadly. "I can't let you in. You loved money too much. You loved it so much, you even married a woman named Penny." Then came the second straight guy. "Sorry, can't let you in, either. You loved food too much. You loved to eat so much, you even married a woman named Candy!" The gay guy turned to his boyfriend and whispered nervously, "It doesn't look good, Dick."
  22. For your blessing, may I suggest: Sit vis vobiscum ('may the force be with you) I hope that when you become pope you will consider changing the color of the robes you use...perhaps neon green or pink? or maybe rainbow striped? Of course, it all depends on what your color is that looks best on you
  23. Good luck on your interview today BBB. Please give us a blow by blow account of how it went and if it was hard.

    Gay Shanghai

Very interesting. I lived in Shanghai in the mid 1990s for a number of years and it was a much different place from described above regarding the gay scene and life. I did, however, manage to find an amazing guy to hire but in Beijing. Haven't been back in many years but the above has stirred an interest in a return visit.
  25. Brought a smile to my face I imagine that is how I would be....if I could swim and would even attempt it.
