Damn, you are one lucky guy...I am normally not an envious guy but in this case I am totally green.

Is the University President next? My understanding is that he approved the initial punishment for the coach. And apparently there is quite an outcry from faculty that he should be removed.

It was a disturbing video to watch where he was physically and verbally abusive to some of his players. It seems as though it initially was being swept under the rug for the most part even though the coach did get a 3 game suspension, $50k fine and required to attend anger management courses. Being fired seems to have been the right decision but it was a shame it took so long and only after the video became public for it to happen. Both the AD and the University President may not survive: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/04/sports/ncaabasketball/rutgers-fires-basketball-coach-after-video-surfaces.html?_r=0

Awesome, thanks for the link. I love Lucy and actually think "The Lucy Show" is more enjoyable than "I Love Lucy" (perhaps I am in the minority on that opinion though). I think classic TV is fantastic and I prefer many of the "oldies" to today's TV shows. My brother is fond of saying "You realize you are watching dead people". I think it takes me back to a simpler time and personally I often find the humor more to my liking.

I share your fascination with the Secret Service. I haven't read any books on them but would be interested. I recall a book by Clint Hill who was an agent assigned to Mrs. Kennedy and I think the book was called "Mrs. Kennedy and me" if I remember correctly. I heard it was a pretty good read. A more recent book I've heard about was "In the President's Secret Service". I know you are probably looking for first hand experience so sorry I can't add anything else other than those two that piqued my interest when I heard about them.

OMG, a boytoy shortage is definitely bad news

One has to wonder if the saying "Any publicity is good publicity" is really true when someone like her seems to be going off the rails. Someone earlier questioned her mental stability and I have to agree it is very questionable.

I've been following Davey's youtube videos for quite a while, partly because they are often an interesting diversion but mostly because he is a hot guy. I liked the mix of serious and frivolous topics/subjects he would cover. My general impression is that he has become more silly of late and I do miss some of his more serious topics. But I keep watching because he continues to be hot. As far as being a twunk, not so much....not much twink to him and probably more towards hunk in my book.

Very much enjoyed that. Thanks for posting it. I agree with JKane he is adorable.

I distinctly remember my first movie experience and it was Mary Poppins. And i remember falling asleep half way thru it. I would have been around 4 years old then.

Interesting to read so many here haven't seen that movie...one of my favorites of all time. I tend to really enjoy older movies more and more, especially as I get older. I watch TCM all the time and have seen some real gems.

Paraprosdokians (Winston Churchill loved them) are figures of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected; frequently humorous. 1. Where there's a will, I want to be in it. 2. The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it's still on my list. 3. Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak. 4. If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong. 5. We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public. 6. I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure. 7. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit.. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. 8. To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is research. 9. I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you. 10. In filling out an application, where it says, 'In case of emergency, Notify:' I put 'DOCTOR'.

I haven't noticed any problems lately on my laptop (using Chrome). I have had some loading problems when using my tablet (android) but I wasn't sure if it was the site or a weak wifi signal.

Cardinal: Catholic Church '200 Years Out Of Date"
wayout replied to TampaYankee's topic in The Beer Bar
The hierarchical structure of the church and the resulting "in-breeding" (for lack of a better word) producing cardinals (and a pope) who are mostly locked into very similar thinking will make changes painfully slow. Sounds as though Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, as a progressive, may have been someone that would have started some changes had he been elected after JP2. Not sure there is an easy answer but perhaps it is time for a third Vatican Council to seriously consider how to bring the church into this century (or at least last century). -
Agreed, best trailer yet Very very nice. Thanks

My wife left a post-it note on the fridge, “I'm sorry. It’s not working, I can’t take it anymore! I've gone to stay at my Dad’s." I opened the fridge, the light came on and the beer was cold. Not sure what she was talking about!

Sorry to hear about your abdominal surgery. I can imagine that would kill your appetite. In my case, my "diet" was contracting TB and by the time they figured out what was going on I had lost almost 70 lbs (from 200 to 130).

I would hope that the use of toys, by either an escort or a client, would have been brought up ahead of time. I personally can't imagine just springing a toy on an escort and assuming he would be fine with it (even if it was fresh and still in the original package). Not everyone will be willing to have toys used for whatever reason they may have (just as I would decline if it was suggested by an escort). If it was brought up suddenly at the meeting, a simple no should suffice but certainly a discussion of the use up front would be best, including if an escort was ok with using them and making it clear his preference of the type of toy and conditions for use. If the client was offended at a no and insisted, then he is way over the line.
