Everything posted by wayout

  1. I've been on most of this morning (since around 5am est) going between posts and posting a couple times. No issues here at all with the speed.
  2. Generally speaking it is good to have alternatives and the ability to choose between them. In my view the two forums offer fairly significant different alternatives. Most of the differences probably can be traced back to management philosophy and style of operating the sites, which also influences the type of people that post at one or the other (assuming they are aware that an alternative exists). While there is certainly some overlap, I sense one site is more for those that like to instigate drama and/or watch resulting cat fights. It certainly gets old and tiresome, especially as it drowns out the voices of those that have a real interest in a useful, educational and/or humorous dialogue/discussion. There are countless guys over the years I have enjoyed reading their posts but they finally gave it up for one reason or another. I am fascinated with how much people seem to take it all so very seriously and invest energy, feelings and perhaps even personal self worth in the forums. I used to be, for lack of a better word, obsessed with the forums and would actually get upset at things posted. The two things that bothered me the most were the personal insults/name calling and how some would never ever acknowledge they were wrong or overstated their position, especially when it was clearly shown to be the case. Sometimes I still do get upset but for the most part I've come to realize it is better to move on and let things go since I can't really change others behavior and/or attitudes (especially if they don't have any interest in changing). As I alluded to before, the players may change but the game doesn't. Bottom line, for me at least, thank goodness there is an alternative and I very much hope it continues as it is.
  3. To put an end to the question, I will volunteer to personally inspect Harry's penis (both flaccid and erect). As soon as I can arrange it I will report back the results.
  4. Love it. I have pondered the question of at what point I would lose my interest in sex so this gives me hope for the future

    Rip George Jones

Sad news...I enjoyed his music. RIP
  6. If he is in fact gay, I can also speculate that he feels the need to remain closeted and have marriages of convenience that are unsustainable because of fear for his standing as a movie star. While it is a shame if that is the case, it is likely still the reality in today's world.
  7. Certainly a great deal of drama. It happens periodically and will happen again....nothing really changes (unfortunately).
  8. I see that I can stream it from Amazon for a reasonable price so I plan on watching it today or tomorrow. Thanks for the interesting review.
  9. hi, the link doesn't work any longer. But I did read the article from another source: http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2013/04/23/178650537/bill-gates-handshake-with-south-koreas-park-sparks-debate I do think that he should have been a bit better informed about customs and cultures of important dignitaries he is meeting (or for that matter non-dignitaries in general). I did a fair amount of international travel for business and it was pretty much std operating procedure for me to get a primer on basic dos and don'ts for the country I was visiting so as not to inadvertently insult anyone. Such an easy issue to avoid and being clueless isn't an excuse, imho.
  10. May not be the best thing to call and ask to talk to him as taking a personal phone call may be frowned upon by the restaurant and he may not be happy about that. I suggest going back for a lunch by yourself there and somehow get seated in his section. Then you can flirt some and see how things progress. Hopefully at some point you will have the opportunity to suggest a dinner somewhere or you can offer him your digits. It may be that this guy's original action were very innocent but then again, maybe not. So if you are attracted to him then let the games begin...and good luck Let us know what you decide to do and how it goes as I love to live vicariously through others. And the more details the better

    Weather

I don't mind the heat as long as it isn't humid...it's my kryptonite. I love weather...actually I love changes of weather especially in extremes. I live in northeast Ohio so we sometimes get all four seasons in one day. As is the case in many places (see http://ralphriver.blogspot.com/2006/03/if-you-dont-like-weather.html), we are fond of saying "If you don't like the weather in Cleveland, just wait 20 minutes...it will change"
  12. I am also a big Hitchock fan and that course on him would have been fascinating for me. If you get Encore Drama, Psycho is on Friday, May 3 at 5:35am and 5:05pm, both est (the schedule at least on ATT Uverse). I haven't seen it yet but there was a recent (2012) movie titled "Hitchcock" with Anthony Hopkins http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0975645/ Originally I was also worried, as another poster indicated, that being in present day would be an issue/problem for me to get into the story. Curious as to why they decided to do that but it does seem to be working out just fine for me. I also love the sets and I think the acting is top notch....The actress who plays Norma deserves an Emmy, imho. In the first episode I was impressed how much the actor playing Norman (Freddy Highmore) looked like a younger Anthony Perkins but was sure I had seen him before. I googled and then saw that what I recalled was his younger self in movies like "August Rush" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". He's from the UK but no hint of a British accent in his portrayal of Norman. And I do think he is cute (and he is 21). Btw, I reserve my right to change my opinion but at this point I think Norma is the crazier of the two. I think that Norman is relatively normal at this point but as things go on we will see how it is Norma who slowly drives Norman "psyco". One thing I am pretty sure of, I don't think we will see a post from hitoallusa saying he would want a son just like Norman .
  13. That is an interesting possibility, although I have to say I am not 100% sure the "reveal" was really how it went down. After all, it is from Norma and totally self serving.
  14. I'm watching it and definitely hooked. One of the better series to come along in a while. I love the twists and turns, and the characters are great (plus the added benny of some hot guys like the brother and the cop). I look forward to watching it every week.
  15. 6 months and then I'll be good to go.
  16. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your father. I also can strongly relate to what you are going through. Your father's question asking if you are ok is a beautiful moment and hopefully there will be many more of those that show his "old" self. Do take his question to heart and remember to take care of yourself because you need to remain strong for him.
  17. "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" premiering Sunday, April 21 on E. I might watch some of it just to see if what he would do is bottom
  18. So true and a lesson I don't think I have fully learned yet, especially when it comes to hiring escorts. Too many times to count I have had my eyes and other things set on an escort but I hem and haw, delay and hesitate until it is too late and they have moved on from escorting. I am trying very hard now to do as Oz suggest and just go for it while the opportunity presents itself.
  19. What an interesting situation you found yourself in and sad for the outcome. “Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been.”― John Greenleaf Whittier
  20. Another sad passing.... COMEDIC ACTOR JONATHAN WINTERS DIES AT 87 http://deathbeeper.com/5785702.html RIP

  22. That was one lady who had an amazing life. RIP Maggie
  23. Actress Annette Funicello, longtime Disney and "Beach Party" star, died Monday at age 70
  24. I am looking forward to this and have the recorder set just in case I miss it.
