Although there had been opportunities and a strong attraction with my best friend from years ago, I avoided it as there were too many land mines and a ltr wasn't in the cards. I have to admit that I often wonder about that road not taken though and how it might have turned out. I have to wonder, in the situation you described, if the relationship between your best friend and his partner wouldn't be better served if they would somehow agree to go to couples counseling to see if the situation could be turned around.

And you think your job sucks.... But then again, perhaps some of us wouldn't mind at all

I'd be very curious as well and would call back to see what it is all about. To be safe, make the call from an undisclosed location and untraceable phone so they can't easily find you Do let us know if you decide to check it out.

A recent article in the Kentucky Post reported that a woman, Anne Maynard, has sued St Luke’s Hospital, saying that after her husband was treated there recently, he had lost all interest in sex. A hospital spokesman replied, "Mr. Maynard was actually admitted in Ophthalmology - all we did was to correct his eyesight."

The issue brought up about using that word here on the forum is both interesting and important, speaking from my own personal viewpoint. This specific topic, and others that have been raised in the past, challenge me to think about some things that I may have not considered important or significant before. I certainly can understand how a word can be much more significant to some than to others based on their own life experiences and/or other considerations. Perhaps my thinking would be much different if I had been harassed with words like fag, queer, queen, etc. But my reality is that it was never used towards me in such a way so I am perhaps more accepting of its use when not done in a hateful or pejorative manner. Being used within a community such as ours here where there are shared common interests, again when used in an appropriate context, seems to me to be to be acceptable. I call many of my friends much worse things but because of the context and familiarity of one another, it is taken in the spirit in which it is intended. Perhaps in the written format of a forum there can be misunderstandings which makes the use of the word more delicate to manage, which we all know some have more tact than others. The whole use of the N word in the black community is not unsimilar to what is being discussed with many parallel examples and considerations. I don't believe that the use of the word or the tacit acceptance of it within the community gives any approval for others to use the word in a hateful or negative manner. One could even argue that its acceptance and use of the word dilutes its negative implications. The focus should be on the actions and thoughts behind those that use the word, not necessarily the word itself. But because we are a community here in the forum, the respect Oz has demonstrated by listening and agreeing to stop using the word in the future is both laudable and hopefully appreciated. I don't think we should expect or require him to expunge the word from the history of the site. Unless someone else is willing to put in the time, effort and money to do so, I think what Oz has done (which is reasonable, respectful and appropriate to others points of views) should be graciously accepted. Realize, however, that not all will share that view and others may in fact still choose to use that word as they see fit. And of course, others may respond accordingly. I don't think many of us would prefer the alternative which would be that we start banning words, which may have to include words such as fag, queen, queer and others. Ultimately, as we all know so well, if things are not handled in the way you like, find an alternative that better suits your sensibilities. So I give kudos to Oz for his actions and thank him for being open to various views. I am sure it is not an easy thing to try to accommodate such a variety of viewpoints but overall I think he does an admirable job.

Thanks for posting this....makes me very happy -
Just to clarify, Raven-Symone, played Olivia on the 1980s sitcom "The Cosby Show" and not Rudy. She was the step-daughter of Denise Cosby. Anyway, congrats and I hope she will have a very happy life.

I have to say that I had no idea that Chip Tanner is gay for pay. He plays the part so very well, even when bottoming, and I've enjoyed watching him in many videos. He does raise an interesting point about when people know someone is gay for pay and for me knowing that does somewhat ruin the fantasy and not sure I will be able to watch him again in the same way. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the above video and enjoy many of Davey's youtube stuff....and he is definitely not gay for pay and I wish he would do some porn videos

Had my regular checkup the other day and my doctor has been after me to get a colonoscopy for the last year. I finally acquiesced and agreed despite my intense fears of the unknown. I don't know anyone who has had one that I can talk to about the procedure to alleviate my fears. So can anyone here tell me about the experience and was it as bad as you thought or not so much? I've scheduled it for a month from now, which may have been a mistake but I figure I need some time to get mentally prepared. Yes, I am a big sissy when it comes to these types of things and I readily admit it. Nevertheless, be brutally honest if you have had this procedure as I would rather know up front the worst part of it than let my mind go wild and come up with its own worst case scenario (which is pretty scary).

I apply it sparingly/lightly and only on special occasions, same as Hoover. When I am with a guy in intimate situations, I often find colognes to be distracting for some reason and prefer they have a natural (yet clean) scent or the softer scent from a bodywash used while showering.

I was wondering how he was forced to resign, especially as noted above if he was tenured. Seems as though the board rescinded his tenure (I had no idea that was possible without due process) and threatened to take away unemployment benefits. There must be more to the story than what has been said so far but on the face of it I can only say that it seems it is totally absurd. I would have liked to have seen him say f#ck you all to the board, let them fire him and then hit them with a huge lawsuit. Ref: http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Long-Island-Princesses-Teacher-Shirtless-Bellmore-Merrick-216786231.html Serie got a letter a week after the June 2 episode aired, telling him he had to report to the school district office. He was urged to resign, he says."They rescinded my tenure, took it away, and said if I do not give them a resignation letter in two days, that I would not receive unemployment benefits," said Serie, who has worked as a teacher for eight years. His lawyer, Joseph Lipada, said his client was "never given a coherent reason as to his termination." Serie said a producer friend approached him about the show. He did not take part in the drinking or fighting shown in the episode, and had no interest in taping another. He said he regrets going on the show and wants his job back. The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District said in a statement that Serie's resignation was accepted on July 9, but declined to discuss further details.

How boring....one would hope that they could have been a bit more creative or original. I used to work for a guy whose first name was Nimrod and that always has stuck in my mind as something rather unique...Prince Nimrod would have been very cool

That is a very unsettling thing to hear...that there are specific efforts to bi-pass probable cause by creating false positive. If true, this gives one pause and really supports the statement by Jimmy Carter (alluded to in another thread about his support of Snowden) that "America does not have a functioning democracy at this point in time", in the sense that our rights are not being respected.

Totally agree.... says so much with a single picture. I have to raise a concern that I have with this pope. He is raising expectations that he will perhaps do some things that are desperately necessary to transform the Catholic church. I hope that he can but perhaps those expectations may be unrealistic as to what he actually can and will do. Don't get me wrong, I am excited about the possibilities but also in the back of my mind I have to admit that I am worried somewhat that without something significant there will be a sudden let down and disappointment that will overshadow the various positives he has or will achieve.
