  1. I doubt the list is exhaustive so definitely research any specific drugs and talk to your doctor and/or pharmacist for sure. If you are using a juice that takes everything from the fruit you would normally eat whole, then I would say they are about the same. I was thinking more of the difference between whole fruits vs what one may make from a juicer (that I believe takes out some of the pulp and/or skin components) or store bought juice. Here is one article about pesticides being absorbed and the "dirty" fruits that references some studies done: http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/06/01/dirty.dozen.produce.pesticide/index.html To dig into the methodology and detailed results of the actual tests would be the next step if interested.
  2. Here is a list of medications not to be taken with grapefruit but certainly one should read in detail the information given with the drug by the pharmacy and/or talk to the doctor to be absolutely sure: http://www.wcpo.com/homepage-showcase/list-of-medicines-not-to-be-taken-with-grapefruit-grows I think the main advantage of many whole fruits over the fruit juice as I understand it is the skin and pulp you get with the whole fruit as opposed to most fruit juices. The skin and pulp provide useful nutrients and fiber that you don't necessarily get from the juice version. And from what I have read the issue of pesticides is not only the surface contamination but that the fruits and veggies absorb the pesticides.
  3. George and Harriet decided to celebrate their 55th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Las Vegas. When they entered the hotel/casino and registered, a sweet young woman dressed in a very short skirt became very friendly. George brushed her off. Harriet objected, "George, that young woman was nice, and you were so rude." "Harriet, she's a prostitute." "I don't believe you. That sweet young thing?" "Let's go up to our room and I'll prove it." In their room, George called down to the desk and asked for 'Bambi' to come to Room 217. "Now," he said, "you hide in the bathroom with the door open just enough to hear us, OK?" Soon, there was a knock on the door. George opened it and Bambi walked in,swinging her hips provocatively. George asked, "How much do you charge?" "$225 basic rate, $100 tips for special services.." Even George was taken aback. "$225? I was thinking more in the range of $25." Bambi laughed derisively. "You must really be a hick if you think you can buy sex for that price." "Well," said George, "I guess we can't do business.Goodbye." After she left, Harriet came out of the bathroom. She said, "I just can't believe it!" George said, "Let's forget it. We'll go have a drink, then eat dinner." At the bar, as they sipped their cocktails, Bambi came up behind George, pointed slyly at Harriet, and said, "See what you get for $25?"
  4. Very excited!!!!! The UK air date for the premiere of Downton Abbey season 4 has finally been revealed! The highly anticipated ITV series will on September 22, 2013. Downton Abbey is Britain's most successful TV export ever and has a global audience estimated at 120 million. Downton Abbey season 4 will premiere in the US on January 5, 2014. The series will run for eight consecutive weeks after its US premiere.
  5. I'm not quite sure what the apparent controversy is here as I found the original post to be interesting and even humorous. Speaking just for myself, who used to spend a good amount of time "over there", I do have an interest to every so often hear some news when something potentially interesting comes up. While I may check in from time to time to check out reviews, the post referenced slipped by me so I appreciated citylaw bringing it up here. In the subsequent posts to this thread the one comment that did get my attention and I didn't think was appropriate was a statement about Daddy fabricating reviews in exchange for favors. Perhaps Daddy has acknowledged that but I don't recall that being the case so I personally don't appreciate when such things are stated without substantiation. While I am not a fan of Daddy in any way, I still don't feel comfortable with such things being said.
  6. I'm happy for anyone who finds someone they want to spend their life with. It is something to be celebrated and shouted from the highest mountain. I wish them happiness and a long life together.
  7. An open relationship, I believe, can work under the "right circumstances", with the "right rules" and with the "right couple". However I do think that there are so many landmines and variables involved that there is a higher likelihood of failure. While some in an open relationship will find that it helps the overall relationship, I have to think that for most it can hurt things leading to a breakup. The potential for using the open relationship to mask other underlying issues between the couple rather than using that energy to deal with them is one of the major obstacles to success, imho. I believe that it takes a higher level of maturity and understanding of relationships, and what both need/want out of that relationship beyond the superficial, to make an open relationship have any chance of success in the long term.
  8. Very interesting. I lived in #5 Torreon, Mexico for five years from 2000 to 2005. I loved living there during that period and felt it was very safe at that time so I was somewhat surprised to see it on the list. I suppose much of it is the result of drug trafficking which I have heard had become a serious problem. Very sad to me personally to see it on the list.
  9. I lusted after him when I was much younger (preteen and early teens). He was locked in my mind as he was back then so a rude awakening to see this mug shot and realize he is now 63. If I recall correctly, his father (Jack Cassidy) had a few demons of his own and eventually died because of them (I think it was something like he fell asleep after a drinking binge with a lit cigarette and the ensuing fire resulted in his death).
  10. I remember in the past some rumblings/rumors about him being gay but also remember several years ago (probably during the time his series was on the air) that he made statements saying he wasn't gay.
  11. Really not a joke but the nerds among us might appreciate some humor in this.... Of course, no one really needs a mathematical proof that this is so
  12. Little Johnny watched his daddy's car pass by the school playground and go into the woods. Curious, he followed the car and saw Daddy and Aunt Jane in a passionate embrace. Little Johnny found this so exciting that he could hardly contain himself as he ran home and started to tell his mother. 'Mummy, I was at the playground and I saw Daddy's car go into the woods with Aunt Jane. I went back to look and he was giving Aunt Jane a big kiss, and then he helped her take off her shirt. Then Aunt Jane helped Daddy take his pants off, then Aunt Jane...' At this point Mummy cut him off and said, 'Johnny, this is such an interesting story, lets save the rest of it for supper time. I want to see the look on Daddy's face when you tell it tonight.' At the dinner table that evening, Mummy asked little Johnny to tell his story. Johnny started his story, 'I was at the playground and I saw Daddy's car go into the woods with Aunt Jane. I went back to look and he was giving Aunt Jane a big kiss, then he helped her take off her shirt. Then Aunt Jane helped Daddy take his pants Daddy off, then Aunt Jane and Daddy started doing the same thing that Mummy and Uncle Bill used to do when Daddy was away on the oil rigs.' Moral: Sometimes you need to just shut up and listen to the whole story before you interrupt!
  13. I have watched Lucas as Fred for some time on YouTube and while very juvenile videos (as for its intended target audience), I somehow got some great amusement out of them. Yes the gaydar was beeping all the time with him (as with others on YouTube that have not come out, yet). Anyway, I am very glad he came out and I love the way he kind of nonchalantly says it in the video, like no big deal and on to the next topic. I hope he continues to be very happy and successful in what he does.
  14. I am so sad and angry about this and the entire situation. Originally I thought Snowden did the wrong thing but I have to say that as more things come up and I see how the US and related intelligence agencies are acting, I am convinced now that he did the right thing. I am literally disgusted about all this and slowly (perhaps not that slowly) the US is losing its way and standing as a leader in issues related to freedom, democracy and human rights. A very sad period we are going through without a light at the end of the tunnel yet.
  15. Is a cute guy needed in a movie? If it is porn, absolutely yes. Otherwise, not necessarily. Is Miles Teller cute enough to charm you in a movie? Possibly. He does have a nice smile and that can go a long way to charm me I don't find him over the top cute but he does (from that pic and others I googled) have a certain cuteness about him (at least to me) that works in his favor. I suppose if his personality/acting in the movie were good enough that would help him be more charming. Nevertheless, the more cute a guy is, the easier it is for him to be charming.
  16. Sexually, Jake was very good. He was strictly a bottom with me and very enthusiastic and verbal. I have seen his recent ads indicate versatile but I am not convinced he would top someone. Decent at kissing and excellent at oral. Met him when he was 20 and he is 23 at this point in time (with a few tats now). Even with my characterization of him being a bit "odd", I would consider hiring him again (perhaps to some extent I like the "bad boy" mystique). Quite coincidentally, last evening I got an email from him asking about setting up a session (we keep in contact every so often but haven't heard from him for several months). There is quite a bit of background on Jake in addition to the arrest and issues with Corbin Fisher, some of it good and some of it not so good. If you (or anyone else) would like more details about Jake (including his contact info for escorting), feel free to PM me.
  17. I actually hired Jake Lyons, prior to his arrest for battery and trespassing (but not much prior to it). He did seem to me to be a bit "odd" but hard to say exactly why, just a feeling I had at the time. He still pops up now and then on Rentboy.
  18. Well at least in that pic he is wearing knee pads/padding so he is prepared to service someone...
  19. And stop the damn slouching, stand up straight. A pet peeve of mine. Hito, I wish I had the confidence in him as you do but so far there is little indication that he will turn himself around and stop being, as suckrates so aptly call him, a douche.
  20. Just watched the trailer and have no idea why people would find that interesting. Perplexing I agree with Expat, I also don't understand the popularity of reality tv (and this one in particular). The thing that I kept thinking was that the wives were quite good looking and how the heck did they end up with those guys? I know, very superficial but just being honest.
  21. I always enjoyed her performances....sad to hear of her passing. RIP
