That can sometimes be the case but when the actor gives poor performances in numerous movies (perhaps most to all of them they are in) then the evidence that they are bad actors becomes overwhelming.

I didn't know we could have gotten this current season online months ago...do tell where to find it online Mark. Last night was very enjoyable and so glad to have my Downton Abbey back That is a good question and I hope Hoover can answer it for us. I lived in London for a couple years 5 or so years ago, and while far from an expert on all things British, I never realized it before that I never came across our biscuit while there. For example, if I recall correctly, they serve an English muffin (which I suppose they would call it simply a muffin) in the McDonald's big breakfast over. So I could speculate that if one were to come across our biscuit over in the UK that it might be called an American muffin. Or perhaps an American scone? Will wait for Hoover to give us a more definitive answer.

How many are in areas forecast to go below zero tonight?
wayout replied to RA1's topic in The Beer Bar
I'm in NE Ohio and they are predicting the following for tomorrow, the big concern being the wind chill temperatures: Monday, 1/6/2014 Hi: 12° Snow in the morning...then snow showers in the afternoon. Blowing snow. Snow may be heavy at times in the afternoon. Additional snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches. Windy and much colder with highs around 14. Temperature falling to around 9 above in the afternoon. West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent. Wind chill values as low as 16 below. Lo: -6° Snow showers. Blowing snow. Snow may be heavy at times. Additional moderate snow accumulation. Windy and much colder with lows around 6 below. Southwest winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent. Wind chill values as low as 32 below. Really shouldn't be too bad and fortunately I don't have to go out for anything for the next few days and can catch up on things around the house. Only preparation was to make sure plenty of food on hand for the next couple days. Planning on making a big pot of homemade soup today so that will get me through this just fine. My puppy will have to miss her daily walks for the next few days ........ -
lol, not at all and they are definitely in my top twenty list (or should I say bottom 20 list, although I have no idea if any of these guys are tops or bottoms even though for some of them I would like to find out ). However I decided to limit my nominations to just six. I also tend to cut some more slack to mostly comedic actors (intentionally comedic) as poor acting seems to stand out more, at least to me, for action and dramatic performances. So then who is your choice for worst actor Suckrates?
-
I think he has a decent chance, if for no other reason than the expected backlash against incumbents by the public for a perceived do-nothing congress.

Wayout nominations are in for the worst living male actors: Keanu Reeves Ryan Phillipe Sylvester Stallone Steven Seagal Nicholas Cage Josh Hartnett The envelop please.........and we have a tie: Nicholas Cage and Keanu Reeves Even though I personally think Ryan, Keanu (younger Keanu) and Josh are all eye candy, I hardly ever enjoy their acting performances. I don't pay much attention to the female actors in the same way so don't have any nominations in mind at this point

I hope his fiance is understanding and that sometimes a guy just needs to get a decent blowjob!!!!!

Very excited...I will be very interested to see how things develop moving forward. I have my tea and cookies (or should I say biscuits) ready and waiting. Next week I'll be watching with some wine.... btw, you can get both the biscuits and wine at World Market

One of the biggest hits of the year was delivered by Colts punter Pat McAfee. He was technically "defenseless" on this play: Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/nfl-rule-hitting-kickers-illegal-2013-12#ixzz2pHuQBEXE I guess punters can give it but can't take it...much like many other people I know Interesting perspective and one that I did not really know before fully. I tend to agree with MSGuy here....punters are athletes but not necessarily football players in the same context of others on the team.

I'll be odd man out and say Jim Kerouac....I do really like Kevin alot and it was a close call but that unfortunate tat (at least for me) results in a loss of that critical final tie breaking point.

Unhealthiest Fast-Food Fries in America
wayout replied to TampaYankee's topic in Health, Nutrition and Fitness
Here is a copycat recipee of the original McDonald's fries (which I have fond memories of): http://www.food.com/recipe/mc-donalds-classic-french-fries-copycat-433745 How close it is in taste, who knows. The nutritional info for those fries is listed but somehow it just doesn't seem right, especially when compared to the nutritional info in TY's referenced site. I like fries with burgers and not much else, and really don't have a favorite. What I really love though is when you put chili and cheese on top of them. I only allow myself that indulgence once or twice a year. -
Overall a pretty good year, all things considered. Started off being rather uneventful for the first six months but ended up with me finding, buying and moving into the closest thing to my dream house. I am looking forward to spending my first holiday in the new place and feel very blessed, content and happy at how things have turned out this year, rather differently (in a good way) from what I had initially thought earlier in the year.

Totally agree with Expat. I truly enjoy staying at home and watching a favorite movie with a nice bottle of wine and hors d'oeuvres (and occassionaly a favorite escort if it can be arranged, but unfortunately not this year).

For your consideration....Upgrade the Christmas turkey this year

Latest update: The Robertson family just drew a line in the sand with A&E -- NO PHIL, NO SHOW ... and says they are already talking to the cable channel about possibly pulling the plug on "Duck Dynasty." The family issued a statement saying, "As a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm. We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of 'Duck Dynasty.'" They also say they're "disappointed" that Phil Robertson was suspended by A&E just for expressing his religious beliefs ... which, they point out, is his "constitutionally protected right." Fun fact: "Duck Dynasty" is the highest rated cable reality TV show ever. Read more: http://www.tmz.com/2013/12/19/duck-dynasty-robertson-family-statement-phil/#ixzz2o2fn7mfZ It's getting interesting now. Money, religion and sex. Sounds like the making of a great TV show. Is the family bluffing? Will A&E cave? Stay tuned....same bat time, same bat channel

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/02/18/brothers-blow-up-house-while-celebrating-lottery-win-with-drugs/ Brothers blow up house while celebrating lottery win with drugs Published February 18, 2013FoxNews.com WICHITA, KAN. – Authorities say two brothers accidentally blew up their house after celebrating a $75,000 winning lottery ticket by purchasing marijuana and meth. Wichita police Sgt. Bruce Watts said one of the brothers was taken to a hospital and the other to jail after Friday's explosion. The Wichita Eagle reported that the injured 27-year-old brother is in serious but stable condition with second-degree burns on his hands, arms and chest. Watts said the explosion happened after one of the brothers went to the kitchen to refuel the butane torches they planned to use to light their bongs. The brother emptied a couple large cans of butane lighter fluid, leaking butane into the air. Eventually, butane vapor reached the pilot light in the furnace, causing the blast. "The butane vapor reached the pilot light in the furnace, and as you might expect, ka-boom," Watts told the newspaper. The injured brother was wearing a lottery T-shirt during the explosion. His girlfriend reportedly loaded him and some children into a car and drove him to the emergency room of a nearby hospital, where she dropped him off and left, according to the newspaper.

I have a four day vacation planned with a favorite escort in mid January. Read the city review and found that useful. I would like to ask members here for any hotel recommendations there that they might have (or places to avoid). I am not looking specifically for a gay resort/hotel but wouldn't be totally opposed to that. Any other comments or suggestions about Key West in general would be appreciated (such as is it worth renting a car or not). Finally, after nearly 25 years of hiring, this will actually be my first multi-day vacation with an escort. I feel we are pretty compatible and enjoy similar things based on our previous overnight meeting, with was outstanding (clearly, otherwise I wouldn't even be considering a longer term period). He has been escorting for a number of years so he is experienced and comes across as playful but also mature, reasonable and easy going. Anyway, I would appreciate any suggestions from members about how to make the extended time together just as enjoyable, stress free and relaxing as I want it to be. One of my concerns is that I am not used to being with someone 24hrs/day for several days in a row. Another concern is my stamina, both physically and sexually, over several days compared to that of someone 20 years younger than myself. Maybe there are other things I should be thinking about but frankly I don't know what I don't know so that is why I am asking here Thanks in advance for any suggestion, recommendations, advice, etc......

Saw this and thought it was cute also. Neat idea and required some good logistical coordination. One thing that kept running through my mind though was that the poor guy who asked for socks and underwear was probably kicking himself afterwards for not asking for something like an iPhone, iPad, Flat Screen TV, etc.

For those that are interested in the passing during the past year of those involved in cinema, TCM just released their 2013 Edition. Always a few in there that I had not heard had died. http://youtu.be/mFWOjWKYdRQ

CNN Breaking News Today at 7:53 AM Time magazine has named Pope Francis its Person of the Year. Jorge Bergoglio of Argentina is known as a humble man, a capable administrator and -- as expected of a new Pope -- a man of great faith. He is also a man of many firsts: the first non-European Pope in the modern era; the first pontiff from South America; and the first Jesuit to be elected head of the Roman Catholic Church. In his first public act, the new Pope broke with tradition by asking the estimated 150,000 people packed into St. Peter's Square to pray for him, rather than bless the crowd first. I suppose not a bad choice...not sure who else was on the short list but would be interested to know.

I found it interesting about the comment in the piece about state banquet/s decreeing women must wear tiaras. That is what I like about the British and how they adhere to traditions and ceremony (and I am sure there are others who feel many are archaic). I am admittedly not much into fashion but I do enjoy seeing how the royals dress up for special events, especially the hats (particularly at Royal Ascot races). http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2344397/Royal-Ascot-2013-Day-hats-bigger-brash-Queen-dons-multicoloured-style.html I probably like it all because it reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from My Fair Lady: http://youtu.be/Y3ywa-9Cu4M
