I guessed something like this was happening. So for you buying two return trips and using the return flight on the first flight and first flight on the second trip to return home would be cheaper than the $1700 flight! So have you any suggestions how my Brazilian friend can find decent priced flights to Europe? Walk-in travel agents, Brazilian websites, particular times of year to buy? Although I'm happy to travel to Brazil, I want my friend to spend time in UK to become an Anglophile ;-)

Hello guys I'm a British guy living in UK and love Brazil and all things Brazilian. I've visited Rio a few times in the last few years and been able to hook up with guys off this site. I've also been able to meet up with a guy from Belo Horizonte, Guilherme, he's not an escort and things are a little serious now. We've been able to meet up a few times in Europe and Brazil. I've looked at buying him a flight ticket to UK, but the prices seem expensive, so would appreciate if anyone with knowledge of this industry could help me out. Usually I fly KLM from Manchester (UK) to Rio, they have frequent flight sales and price can come in at £500. However, if I book Rio to Manchester at about the same times, the price is coming in at nearly £1000. So, I can have two return trips to Rio for the cost of one return trip for Guilherme. A few questions or if someone can share their knowledge: - why if I want to buy return tickets (journey departing in Brazil) so much more expensive than return journey departing from UK? Do the airline companies have cookies or something offering me a higher price? - what would the cost of booking the flights I want in Brazil be? how would locals in Brazil find cheap tickets? - how can I buy the tickets I want from UK cheaply? (I know about the flight comparison sites but the prices still come back high) Many thanks Mikey

I wouldn't want to insult anyone by offering something too low. I think last time I offered guys 250 - 350. Asking guys after sauna for a dinner date is acceptable I assume?

It's possible to go to the sauna early evening and then go to The Week in the night-time? - it starts late? And is it OK for a decent looking foreign guy mid 30s going alone to these clubs full of hetros?

Sorry, I should have added, I'd want to fly from a northwest airport (probably Manchester). Getting to Heathrow can be tricky depending on your location in UK.

I would love to visit Medellin but travelling from UK is tricky, several flights and connections required. Travel to Brazil seemingly easier as more convenient flights and better prices (KLM have another flight sale on...).

You should have no problem meeting a guy in the sauna willing to go home and maybe spend the day with you for cash. From memory I reckon about 1/4 of the guys spoke at least basic English.
