If you go to the waterfalls, it is an absolute must to take the helicopter tour. You just have to. The massiveness of Iguacu cannot be comprehended from the viewing platforms in either Argentina or Brazil. Also the mid-river is okay, but not like the helicopter. Another must-see id the private guided tour of the inside of the Itaipu dam. Not even expensive. But just an incredible way to see what of man's most incredible engineering triumphs.

It really is quite easy, not too long in the kitchen and the availability of food stuffs depends on where you go. And where your culinary interests lie. I love chicken breast so I have it every day. I usually only cook it up about every 5-7 days. So no problem. Brasil is a haven for clean eating. They have por quilo buffets. Enormous buffets of cold and hot platters. Depending on where you go, the prices can vary from about $4.00/pound to $12.00/pound. BIG DIFFERENCE. Also, the cheaper place will not carry grilled meats slice to order and sushi. But they will always have grilled chicken breast and a couple of types of baked/broiled fish on the buffets. So with salads, fruit, cooked veggies and proteins, a wonderful resource. As I am retired and with lots of time, every morning I walk to my local fruit and veggie market for fresh lettuce, cilantro, carrots, peppers, etc. Tomorrow is the day for my Thai Chicken so placed my order today for arrival tomorrow for two huge bunches of basil. Just delicious. And sometimes I'm even lucky enough to have their supplier find some of the even more fragrant purple basil. Yum!

Lots of foodstuffs impact the blood sugar level. Even carbs and caffeine. So even diet colas are not great. Eating clean is really the way to go. I have become addicted to egg-white omelettes with cinnamon and sweetener. Fish, chicken breast, veggies and some fruit. Melons are great for potassium. Papayas are just great and only half the calories of mango.

Really scary stuff. And with the way the courts are set with the appointments of so many conservative judges, can this become anything but worse for the protection of civil liberties?

Thanks. But it was really very easy. The major part was a change in my way of thinking. Huge was discovering the CALORIECOUNT site and learning so much about counting calories, eating healthy and clean, only the smallest amount of "white things" and lean proteins. I marvel now at how I hate the slimy, fatty feel/taste of anything but skimmed milk, nothing other than low-fat ricotta, etc. With the clean eating has come an appreciation for all things veggie. Carrots, peppers, cucumbers, onions. Just a total shift in how one thinks. ...and of course, fast food no longer exist. Totally(almost)ignored.

Over the last thirteen months, I've successfully made the world's largest ball of tape vanish. I need to loose the 3-pound tub of super premium ice cream. Both figuratively and literally. I am a true ice cream addict. I inhale the stuff. So funny that that weight level is what I need to get rid of before going in for the plastic surgery.

Of course, this is if I leave after one programa and do not want a dry towel as I am going to stay longer and want a second dry one for personal use.

The ridiculous charge for the kit. A couple condoms and one small envelope of lube. Bring your own with condoms of a couple of sizes, a tube of lube and one of massage cream for the skin. It saves a bit of money. The tube of lube is much easier to open and use than those crappy little envelopes and depending on the guy, you might need a differently-sized condom. I normaly dry myself after I shower in that area of the sauna. I don't like to walk around dripping water. I get drafty quite easily. So the second towel that MM provides I usually just use on my feet to get really dry before putting on my shoes. However, I often wear flip-flops, especially now in the heat of summer. So the second towel is hardly ever needed by me. Also, the clients do not return the towels to the counter at check-out. They are normally left on the floor in front of the locker with your flip-flops/Havaiana's. So a couple of times the second towel has been a nice little good-bye gift to the garoto I have been with. They are more comfortable and you've saved them 10Reais. Besides they now have a larger towel to dry with. As far as I can see, there is no "control" by the house of these towels.

I was just at New Meio Mundo two days ago. The sheet/lencol is 4Reais. And there is little to no difference between the free cabines and the smallest of the rooms that they charge for. Honestly. The biggest difference is that for the rooms they charge for, they throw in a sheet. The free cabines are a bit smaller. So if you are having a group event/festivities that might be a consideration. Also, they are supposed to have rooms for 15R/20R and 25R. Not so. They have raised their prices and all rooms start at 20Reais. Other than the rooms being one floor lower, and the hallway being a bit more private. I cannot perceive the difference. I'd prefer to give the money to the boy for his plate of food and drink or entry than pay for a room which seems the same to me. Gotti, If your Portuguese is not up to snuff, the word for sheet is lencol - the c is pronounced like an S. And save on the cost of the "kit" and bring your own lube and condoms. Many do. Save on the high charge from the sauna. It is a big moneymaker for them. A friend priced it out once. Also, if you want to make the sauna guy happy, give him your second towel. They are issued to minitowel at entry. A larger towel will cost them 10Reais extra for the day. And most do like the comfort of the larger. The will be thankful. Also, before going into the showers, either downastairs or up, ask at the desk for a fresh bar of soap. There is no cost for this and the dispenser are frequently out of the liquid type. I always think a bar soap works better anyway. I might know a bit more than others as I do live here.

Last night some more new ones showed up at Clube New Meio Mundo. One guy sat down next to me, with an enormous raging hard one and said that this was his first day at the sauna, like him being "fresh meat" would make the whole thing more enticing, and did I want to go to a cabine with him? I told him that his dick was too large for me but I hoped he had good some business before Christmas. There was the most gorgeous gaucho there with buns of steel. His skin was just beautiful glistening under the shower. Spectacular! I for see him being taken off of the market and placed in some wealthy man's private reserve quite speedily. As to showers in the rooms, I don't see how they can replumb economically, but this being Brasil with labor costs being the least of the problem.......... With the amounts the Acyr & Jorge must be pulling in and the minimum salaries paid to the staff, I assume except for Vinicius, stranger things have happened. However, as the new third floor shower/bathroom is not the nicest of installations, so I doubt the smallish, new rooms in the addition could fit a shower area.

Friday night at New Meio Mundo, the joint was jumpin'. They have a new flat screen TV which alternates/ rotates their specials each day of the week. There were two sets of GoGo dancers before Meime Dos Brilhos sang a song and then hosted SuperBingo. With Christmas next week, they had some very, very nice prizes including a fancy boombox and microwave. Also there was some kind of lucky number for all of the garotos. They are almost completed with the new shower installation. New tile on the walls and ceiling, new plumbing. Lighting too. The place was packed with clients and garotos. Lots of new garotos to choose from as well. Even though just a week before Christmas, prices are still 50Reais and then a hoped for 10Reais or 20 Reais for that day's entry and then for a future one. On top of that paying the 8Reais for their supper is happily accepted. I went to the free rooms and paid for a sheet. The other rooms mostly are 20Reais and up, and I personally do not see much difference. I'd rather buy the garoto a plate of food and a refrigerante than give the extra 16Reais(difference less the lencol/sheet)to Acyr and Jorge. I think they make enough. But what do I know?

Due to the use of AUTO-TUNE, it really is impossible to tell who has a good voice and who doesn't, just from their work on the show. Lea Michelle and Matthew Morrison have been on Broadway. Amber Riley was a contestant on IDOL. Until we actually hear their voices....just more J-LO recordings.
