Close-up, the tailoring on "The Zooey's" gown was quite baggy. Prada can just be Prada. It doesn't have to look good on the wearer. It did not fit. Also styled atrocious. The hair did not go with the dress. There is quirky and then there is hairstyle that takes away from the gown. Hey, she is nominated and looks....not so good.

I keep expecting to see another slash of red on her slash peeking out from the slash of her dress.

Smelly smegma is not one of my favorite things.

The tailoring on Reese's dress was unfortunate. Only thing worse would be if she was sporting a camel toe. It looked way too heavy. Nice color against all of the black, sapphire and nude. But... In a true triumph, Paula Patton in bright yellow rocked it much better with the flared train. quote name='ihpguy' timestamp='1326678016' post='49634'] And I thought her frock was really quite tragic. A giant "YECH!"

I want to slap Miss Ciccone for her fake English accent.

Nothing can be worse than the train wreck that is "The Zooey"

Brad Pitt looks like a dried-out wino from West Madison St.

She's been doing this since the accident.

I don't get it. I'm just a stupid gringo here in RJ enjoying beachlife.

Lucky, I for one get "it." Same here in Rio for me with the rent-boy saunas.

That's really sweet. Thanks for posting.

It's all about those "MAGIC PANTIES" that they are wearing.

Well she already has the "Meth-od Experience" or is that just the "Meth" down cold as to drinking and drugs. And as far as men, yes. Quality, no. Richard Burton = Wilmer Valderamma? NOT. Size wise, I had heard no one compared to John Warner. He supposedly packs wood easily to the rails used on his Virginia horse farm.

High in Protein, Low in Carbs Too

But the big question I have is if the American electorate can knowingly vote for someone who wears magic panties?

Wonderful way to forget all about the continuing summer rains.

Just received this from the American consulate: This message is to alert U.S. citizens to severe flooding in the northern and northeastern parts of the state of Rio de Janeiro. We recommend that U.S. citizens avoid travel to the affected area at this time. The cities of Campos dos Goytacazes, Laje do Muriaé, Santo Antônio de Pádua, Itaperuna, Italva, Cardoso Moreira and Miracema are the most affected. Local authorities report extensive damage to roads and other infrastructure due to floodwaters in this area, which is approximately 300 kilometers north of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Civil defense officials evacuated 4,000 residents of the town of Três Vendas after floodwaters burst a nearby dike. Kind of crazy explanation for what happened. The flood waters are rushing down from the state of Minas Gerais into the state of Sao Paulo. There is a river there which then carries the waters east into the state of Rio de Janeiro, past the city of Rio into the affected areas where the banks/dikes are being breached. I asked him if these are poorly-constructed favelas. Which is what happened last year and the year before in Niteroi and Teresopolis. He said that wasn't the case. Last night we had the most incredible storm here. Huge winds tons of rain. Two huge pieces of aluminum flashing flew off of the side of my house. The street in front of my house flooded. Branches of trees blown down. The dogs thrilled to be rolling in the large pools of mud. House soaked as we went for a bike ride just before the storm hit and we had left almost all of the windows open. Yech. Spent about an hour mopping up. Turned on the ceiling fans and we're almost dried out this morning. It's not quite 7AM with a bright sunrise so we'll be back to normal here soon. Not so nice in the Campos Dos Goytacazes unfortunately.

I also have to admit that on the next block over on the small pracinha to the side of the Fundacao Getulio Vargas at 2 in the afternoon, I did pick someone up while killing time before Meio Mundo opened. He was leaning on the side of a bike rack. Wanting a bit of a non-caloric dessert to finish off lunch. I suppose I was a "tasty(?)and sweet(?), hopefully not too stale import. I was trying to decide between the Miles Davis exhibit at BBCC and a modern installation at Casa Franca-Brasil. I chose a different type of Brasilian art installation at the Motel Amazonas. Oh well. Money saved on entry, boy and balcao at MM.

That's all part of the excitement of the chase, search, hunt. Some might find it too easy parking one's bunda/butt on a vinyl-covered banquet at 117, Meio Mundo or Pointe 202.

At night, after midnight, is the time to be there. Nothing goes on in the daytime. During daylight, Marina da Gloria near Santos Dumont would be much better. Also, this past week, the Guarda Municipal - the unarmed guys dressed in khaki and brown, totally slammed down and hint of possible action on the Praca Floriano. But the Cine Rex is just one street over and only 10Reais entry.
