  1. Kinda except Rhoda used rugs so there were open areas of floor to get around on. My aunt went wall to wall, even in the entry hall. Moma gave me strict orders not to say anything as her sister was inordinately proud of that house. Or maybe she had realized how bad she fucked up too late and was trying to brazen it through. You never really knew with my aunt.
  2. I had an Aunt who put down pure white shag wall to wall carpet all over her dream home. Not only did she did she have plastic covers for the furniture, she had clear plastic runners all through the house. The only places you were allowed to walk on the actual floor were the bathrooms and the kitchen. Bless her addled heart, we all knew she was over the top but I think that white shag was her apogee. Kinda like this but a whiter white. And covers for the furniture, of course. Did I forget to mention that the house was two miles out in the country on 3 acres of land and no fucking way you could avoid getting stuff on your shoes if you set foot outside the house?
  3. Given that African-Americans and Latinos together make up well over 1/2 the population of NYC, is that really so surprising? NYC ain't in Kansas, Dorothy. Factor in also that Blacks and Hispanics are also disproportionately poor and therefore find the money they can make hustling attractive. LOL, but I take your meaning. The black and Mexican guys I have had experience with were no higher a % of tops than a random sample of other ethnicities I've met. As had been mentioned any number of times in the garato threads (& as Sucky points out above), what the guys will do in private does not necessarily match what they are willing to say in front of their friends. By the way , reading between the lines, I think your real complaint is that too many of the white escorts advertise as bottoms.
  4. While I can see how there might be no gay people in Portugal, I would bet good money that there are plenty of straight guys who like to suck dick and get fucked.
  5. Trust AdamSmith to find a way to add a little French flair to coprophilia.
  6. Should have put a little gold leaf over the glue. Nobody would ever have noticed.
  7. Lookin, what are you doing slumming with the likes of us down here in the poop thread?
  8. So Dershowitz comes out swinging, files to have his name struck from the court documents and calls a press conference where he announces he's going to sue the lady's two attorneys for defamation and then pursue disbarment charges. But the two lawyers beat him to it and sue him first for damaging their reputations. I don't know which one (or ones), but somebody here is pulling an Oscar Wilde.
  9. How could I forget: Intern transport courtesy of Air RA1. Fares are entirely dependant on degree of cuteness, willingness and skill in "other" things. Decisions by RA1 management are final.
  10. Sorry boys but BrokeStraightBoys, com is holding up release of the video feed. Something about infringing their creative concepts or some such. We're unable to go live until we get all the legal issues settled. Meantime, if you know any cute twinks who want to do an unpaid internship (slender build with nice ass required, jug handle ears a plus), please feel free to refer them to lookin, my business manager, for vetting.
  11. Bulletin Of Atomic Scientists, ha! Bunch of weak ass, commie symp, liberal pacifists. I mean we're talking Bertram Russell level pussy defeatists here, folks. As long as the air conditioner still works, who cares? It ain't like I live in Florida or anything.
  12. Gay jihadies? Well, that's a relief.
  13. Roof knocking is the equivalent of a warning shot for aerial bombing and the practice of warning inhabitants of a building before it is bombed to give the inhabitants time to flee the attack.[1] The practice has been invented and used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) before attacking buildings that they suspect contain weapons.[2][3][4] The term "roof knocking" (Hebrew: הקש בגג[5]) or "knock on the roof" has also been used to describe the IDF practice of firing a non-explosive or low-yield device at a roof to get people there to leave. See Wiki article.
  14. You aren't going to recruit more folks for your sharia law no go zone, are you?
  15. Best thing to do is google it. Way to much sketchy stuff going on down there than I have the energy to organize in my head. Just for two (and completely disregarding all the odd stuff going on with the proposed canal itself): 1) Only a very small % of the world's shipping won't fit the new Panama Canal lock system set to open late this year or early 2016 which should provide plenty of capacity to cover the next 2 or 3 decades growth in demand. The only result of adding the unneeded capacity in Nicaragua would be a ruinous price war that would bankrupt both canals. 2) All along the Gulf and East coasts, US ports have just spent/are in the process of spending billions of dollars to be able to service the new Panamax size shipping that's been built to take advantage of the new larger locks. It is doubtful, to say the least, that they would be interested in doubling down and investing a like amount to service an entirely hypothetical fleet of Nicaraguamax super ships. PS The new Panamax ships carry roughly 50% more cargo than the old Panamax, dependeing of the type of cargo. That's going to soak up a lot of demand for shipping.
  16. Here's an article/book review from the New Yorker about the development of a Gay rights movement in late 19th century Germany that came oh so close to success only to be squashed by the Nazi's at the last moment. Interesting how so many of the different elements of the modern Gay Movement were prefigured over a hundred years earlier. But kind of sad too given what happened in the 1930's. An excerpt from the review: "On August 29, 1867, a forty-two-year-old lawyer named Karl Heinrich Ulrichs went before the Sixth Congress of German Jurists, in Munich, to urge the repeal of laws forbidding sex between men. He faced an audience of more than five hundred distinguished legal figures, and as he walked to the lectern he felt a pang of fear. “There is still time to keep silent,” he later remembered telling himself. “Then there will be an end to all your heart-pounding.” But Ulrichs, who had earlier disclosed his same-sex desires in letters to relatives, did not stop. He told the assembly that people with a “sexual nature opposed to common custom” were being persecuted for impulses that “nature, mysteriously governing and creating, had implanted in them.” Pandemonium erupted, and Ulrichs was forced to cut short his remarks. Still, he had an effect: a few liberal-minded colleagues accepted his notion of an innate gay identity, and a Bavarian official privately confessed to similar yearnings. In a pamphlet titled “Gladius furens,” or “Raging Sword,” Ulrichs wrote, “I am proud that I found the strength to thrust the first lance into the flank of the hydra of public contempt.” ==== I guess I should have noted the book reviewed is Robert Beachy’s “Gay Berlin: Birthplace of a Modern Identity” (Knopf).
  17. The answer is it won't happen. No wealth, no growth, no destruction, maybe some confusion.
  18. Damn and he was so cute back when he got his start playing Jodie Dallas on Soap. Bite me, Billy.
  19. Which one is the queen?
  20. Sorry for the digression, Mvan1. Sometimes I forget my manners.
  21. So just when he was getting down to the nut cutting and name names, his PR guy unplugs his microphone and drags him off stage. Marchionne must have been bored out of his gourd. But I still say there's a humongous difference between not earning back your cost of capital for a few decades and actually losing cash money over the entire 90 year history of the industry, all firms combined. Remember GM may have pissed away all its retained capital (and a hell of a lot of its creditor's capital) in the run up to its bankruptcy, but from the 1920's through the 1980's it churned out a shit load of cash for its stockholders.
  22. Who wouldn't skin out their own mother for a chance to wear this fabulous hat?
  23. Oops, my bad, RA1. Pure ignorance on my part. I recall reading a while back that if you toted up all the cash that has been invested in the airline industry since the twenties and subtracted the current net worth of the airlines, you would have a negative figure, even if you added back in all the dividends ever paid. Right off hand, I can't think of any other major industry that has been such a black hole for investor money. Yet somehow they keep flying. There really is something magical about aviation.
  24. Short sleeve white dress shirt, tie, black dress belt, dark slacks, black socks, black shoes with a high gloss, moving along in pairs. Pretty much standard for Mormon missionaries. Around here though they wear solid ties, no stripes, usually dark color. Very 1950's. You can spot them three blocks off.
  25. Maybe it would be better to say that the deregulation of fares and route structure exposed the true cost of flying from here to there at any given level of service? Pilots and other labor want to get paid as though the FAA still set airline revenues at whatever level the airlines needed to make a profit. Passengers demand a high level of service at a cattle car price point. But I agree that, for management, figuring out how to operate in a competitive environment is still a work in progress.
