  1. Ihpguy, I hope you are fully recovered now.
  2. "You are saying that the going rate is $1000/day in NYC, London, Miami, etc.? It's just not true. The top rent boys in those places charge $500/hour, sometimes more. The rates are sometimes $20,000/weekend or more. And they get these prices. Look, it doesn't do to misrepresent the market this way..." "The boys who take $1000/night in the US are not at the top of their game. The top escorts charge $500/hour or more, like I said. The rates they ask for 24 hours or a weekend are obscene" I know that Parisrio is not going to believe me but, in my direct experience, this is nonsense. I live in London and travel widely in Europe, the US, Latin America and Australia. When I hire, I only hire truly handsome guys who have superb muscled physiques. They are what I prefer, and I find them to be eager bottoms in bed. I have never had to pay the rates Paris rio suggests, and I have slept with a runner-up and a winner in the Mr Brazil contest, a winner of the similar Argentine competition, and 2 cover models for DNA. Currently the rate in London asked for an overnight is $600 but some ask $900. There has been a great increase in the number of guys working in London, Barcelona and Madrid, and the guys are in great physical shape. There has also been a marked increase in the number of amateurs supplementing the income from their day-job as models and personal trainers. I hope we will all now get back to enjoying Tomcal's great reports on his encounters.
  3. Thanks for the answers, Tom. I hope you continue to enjoy your encounters on this visit.
  4. And following up your last post, is Cristofer listed as Derick on that agency-site?
  5. If I may ask some quick questions, Tom: Which hotel are you staying in? Do you have to tell the boys to dress properly to get past Security and into the hotel? What language(s) do you find the sauna-guys speak?
  6. I've had several emails from boytoyflirt.com in the last two days. I'm not sure whether they are spam. Or is boytoyflirt.com affiliated in some way with this site?
  7. "ParisRio, no disrespect intended, but your comment that "they do not enjoy kissing" is full of shit." I'm sure you have a good heart, Lurkerspeaks, and your observations ring true with me, but I have to add: I love that comment!
  8. Excellent advice, ihpguy. Somehow I suspect parisrio2000 likes to ask for advice but not to follow it ;-)
  9. "You tell me if it's possible to be with a hot straight guy in the US or Europe...it's not possible, or extremely difficult, and certainly not really possible for money." Actually it's possible. I know this because in recent years I've played with 3 different, hot, straight guys. I'm a middle-aged man, admittedly lean and gym-fit, and I dress well when going out, but I'm a total top sexually. To my initial surprise, I found that each of the hot straight guys was ready to French-kiss, play 'bottom' for me, and suck cock to completion. Cash is, of course, what they were seeking and what I was ready to offer as long as my needs were met. I treated them with kindness and respect, and we had a good time together, but they were never interested in going out with me to dinner in a restaurant or to the theatre etc. Our interactions were always in private, in my bed. I mean this kindly, Parisrio2000, but you seem to forget that this guy is happy to trade sexual energy for cash. That doesn't mean he wants to see you outside a very private arena. If indeed this man is straight, then he prefers women. And he has made plain to you that he does not want to be seen with you, a gay man, in public or going to a love-motel. His actions and his preferences may seem a mystery to you, but your fixation and desire to change his fundamental nature are a mystery to me.
  10. "for gay men to discriminate so widely against other gay men as the the Japanese gays do is really a bit much" I wonder: I have limited experience of Japan, Tokyo gay bars and the Japanese but I do not agree. My feeling is that the attitude is not gay-related but simple xenophobia. I speak very limited Japanese. I only used it in simple exchanges, where I was certain that I had the proper language and honorifics. I found that Japanese strangers or officials most often could not believe a foreigner could express himself in their language.
  11. I can't think of another case where the old saying applies more appropriately than to your stated problem: "if you do what you've always done, you get what you always got" Expat's advice may be blunt, but I feel he is correct. Save yourself considerable upset and heartache by moving on. Stop fixating on this one guy and his incomprehensible actions. There are lots of good-looking, well-muscled young men in Brazil who would welcome you as one of their customers.
  12. Much as I love Melbourne, where I spend more than a month each year, I feel you have over-praised some aspects of the city. And I have to correct some misperceptions. "Hotel" is the term used in Australia to describe a bar. The title is anachronistic but Aussies recognise it and do not expect to stay overnight! There are quite a few gay bars. (And overnight hotels in Australia are not allowed to discriminate by law. I have never experienced any problem or attitude on checking in with my much-younger boyfriend - except once, when we were warmly greeted as a couple by the (straight) manager and promptly upgraded.) Sex-work is indeed legal and sex-workers are supposed to be registered. Many 'amateurs' do not register. There are quite a few brothels for heterosexuals, but I am only aware of 2 gay brothels in the city. Tipping is unusual in Melbourne whereas it is more common in Sydney, perhaps because it's more visited by US tourists and businessmen. Good service in high-end restaurants may merit a tip of 10%; the regulars in a good cafe may round up the check; taxi-drivers never expect a tip, and I have had taxi-drivers round down the fare to the next $. And finally, you omitted one of the most attractive, mixed gay and straight areas - St Kilda - which is close to the central business district and offers beaches with restaurants and cafes galore.
  13. Interesting thread. I'd like to see it too. Does anyone know the duration of a typical performance? And which is considered better, the Winter or the Summer show?
  14. Oh please! He's pale and Scottish, which means the only sausage he likes is square.
  15. Did you ever read his memoir, Totally Oz? IIRC it was contemporaneous to that advertisement, and it sported the wonderful foreword: "This book is dedicated to my Dick".
  16. I'm so glad you asked this question, BBB! I'm told it's popular with women, but I've never found it an easy nor useful site to navigate. But I do use Instagram a lot as various friends post there and I can keep up with photos of what they're doing and talk about.
  17. I always use a condom for fucking (tho I don't like to wear one when I'm getting sucked off). But as a top playing with younger, muscled bottoms, I have been amazed at the number of guys who tell me 'it's OK' for me to NOT use a condom when fucking them. I know we all have different views on what constitutes safe® sex, but bareback is an absolute no-no for me and I try to educate the younger guys who say this to me. I find it's an increasingly common attitude among younger guys in LA and SF. I've only encountered it with young foreigners in London, not with UK guys. That said, I find lots of younger US and UK guys are happy to suck cock without a condom, to completion, and they like to swallow my load. Brazilians in London, in contrast, often suggest I wear a condom to get sucked or if they're happy to suck without condom, want me to wear one if I'm going to get sucked to completion.
  18. I rate Barcelona highly. There are a lot of attractive young men who are available. Most are working more or less: some are 'professional' and have online profiles, some work out of Thermas while some just seek a little extra cash. And apart from the men, the city has a lot to offer by way of architecture, history, restaurants and theatre.
  19. Is this the same Sheraton at the end of the beach and hard up against the 'favela' of Vidigal? If so, I would check that the drug-gangs have been cleared out of Vidigal. About 18 months ago, there were repeated shootings that came close to the hotel.
  20. Legs crossed, Adam? ;-)
  21. Intriguing report, Oz, but I have a couple of technical questions. 1. You say the guys are not necessarily gay so do you have both boys with you at the same time? How well do they interact or are they more responsive if alone with a foreigner? 2. Do you specify to the 'mamasan' upfront EXACTLY what you want to do/have done as part of the massage/sexual repertoire? I've no problem being direct but I would not like to be insensitive to the local culture
  22. Surely Expat, given that the poor boy is likely to be unemployed now, you could find time to 'mentor' the young man? With his interest in business at Yale and the competition of many other hotties in LA, he may well prove flexible in his career choices.
  23. The photo may be recent but it is definitely photoshopped.
  24. Because an expensive gift should be wrapped well ;-) I feel both client and working man should start a session in sexy, tight-fitting briefs
