  1. He's an Argentine male model, based in Buenos Aires. I'm not aware that he is available. I have known some Argentine and Brazilian male models and all of them prized discretion.
  2. Thank you for the info!
  3. I found today's (September 11) article in the New York Times intriguing in how it details the economic woes of Brazil and the political mis-steps. I had no idea the Brazilian national development bank had loaned out more money than the World Bank. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/11/world/americas/brazils-economic-crisis-intensifies-raising-pressure-on-president.html?ref=world&_r=0
  4. I agree about good hotels, Firecat69. May I ask which hotels you would recommend in Colombia?
  5. I've no wish to dispute what TotallyOz says, but my understanding is that the Syrians etc who live in Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, are not permitted to work. Of those without resources, Saudi Arabia this year has accepted 33 refugees.
  6. May I correct a misconception. £150 may be an "asking price" but I have found many attractive young men (from Gayromeo and other sites as well as Craigslist) who are happy to work for less. In my experience, in London the prevailing rate of pay is £80-120 or $120-180
  7. Would you say that the key to having no problems with bringing guests to your room is ensuring that they are well-dressed and presentable in public? Or is there some racial dimension with lighter-skinned guests being accepted while darker-skinned guests are challenged?

    Seeking dad

Welcome to the website and the forums. Congratulations on posting a charming advert. Guys tell me I'm a generous and handsome daddy, but I'm a very active man and I do like an enthusiastic and energetic young man who is eager to please. I don't know if we would be compatible. Others here too, I'm sure, would like to know more about you - age, height, physique, location, interests etc - and perhaps you can put some photos on your profile.
  9. FWIW there's a long article on Brazil and its economy in today's (Friday) Wall Street Journal
  10. Maybe the moderators can combine this and the other thread you started, and show the correct location in the headline. I wonder if the experienced travellers to Colombia can comment on whether the young men they encounter online would be relaxed/happy to call in and be seen at an openly gay hotel
  11. "GOL consistently has hotter guys working as flight attendants if that's a factor in your decision making! " i Isn't it a factor in everyone's decision-making, and not just for air travel?
  12. I'm glad he's come out. He's had a lot of good support in the UK media. I think it's still very difficult for professional sportsmen to come out if they are active in a very macho sport. As regards Callipygian's question, I don't think his coming out at age 27 is so unusual. He plays for a team in a small town in northern England, was married until very recently and has fathered 2 children. In one interview, he commented that he felt his gay feelings were just a phase, and he wasn't even aware of any gay people in his town!
  13. My guess is San Diego
  14. No, your laundry and bathroom facilities never come up in my mind.
  15. My Lord, Epigonos, you had the patience to teach school-kids for 35+ years! No wonder you ensure you have a good time with nice muscled young men nowadays ;-)
  16. "there is at least one secret sauna in Rio!" If it's secret, how do you know of it? And secondly, please provide the details - I'd hate a secret sauna to close for lack of clients.
  17. When I read reports like this, I think "Wonderful: you gotta love America". It's such a refreshing change from Europe where if you defend yourself vigorously against a house-burglar, the police may arrest you for assault.
  18. Thanks Firecat69 for such an informative and instructive post.
  19. Mvan1's advice is spot-on. All I can add as a Londoner is that if you want to come into central London by the fastest route, take the Heathrow Express train from the airport to Paddington station. It's much more expensive than the Tube but is also much faster, taking only 15-20 minutes depending on at which terminal you board. Incidentally, the dispute on the Tube system (about the introduction of an all-night service) is continuing. The next strike is scheduled to start for 24 hours from 6.30pm Wednesday 5 August.
  20. Interesting comment, Firecat69. I've never used the dating apps. What do you say on your profile to attract younger men with a commercial mindset?
  21. I'm sure Tomcal is correct. The "Alex-Surf" guy on the Malicia site did work in London for 2 years (as 'Alex Surfer') and he then looked more or less like those online photos, but I think that was about 6-7 years ago. So I guess that his appearance, rather than his photos, may have changed ;-)
  22. Carrying knives has been outlawed in the UK for several years. The only prosecution for doing so, which made the newspapers, was of a City businessman who had a Swiss Army penknife in his briefcase (Luckily, the judge was sensible and acquitted him). And of course, there has been no reduction in the numbers of teenagers stabbing each other in knife-fights or using knives in muggings.
  23. You might search for a previous thread on Santiago to which I contributed a few years ago. I spent a little time there on 4 or 5 journeys. Chile is a much more conservative society. I once travelled there with a younger boyfriend and while nothing was said, I noticed a somewhat chilly attitude in the hotel.
  24. "if you want to have guests, you should know that they charge 100 Reais for every visitor." Thanks Meteor9876 for this warning. In fact, it represents a liberalisation in policy by the hotel! I stayed at the Ipanema Plaza Hotel (Golden Tulip Ipanema Plaza) about 6 years ago. The modernised rooms on the upper floors were extremely nice and the house-keeping service by a young man was very good. At that time, the hotel permitted no visitors to rooms whatsoever. This ban applied equally to male and female visitors. I noticed that the security staff intervened if a guest tried to take a local from the beach into the lobby and lifts. I had planned ahead and brought with me on holiday a young blond Argentine muscleboy-bottom so I wasn't bothered by the policy, tho I witnessed a presumably heterosexual man protesting volubly at his younger female friend being excluded.
  25. " Three hours prior to mugging the Englishman, the sauna guy had spent time with me. He had plenty of money. Later tonight, the sauna guy's wife called me also pleading that I hire a lawyer for the sauna guy. Her pleas were self serving. I ended the phone call asking her not to call me again." Mvan1, thanks for posting this further detail. It's a great reminder that some sauna guys simply see gay men as an easy source of money. I see their work as having a certain integrity when they provide a good service for a certain price. And this is why I disagree profoundly with what Parisrio2000 wrote: the sauna guy may be out of options, but he should have considered that before he mugged the gay man
