The first few minutes were taken when we were in the seats and caught off guard and didn't have time to stand up. Sorry, but I love the song so I included it. This was a charity event with tons of shows and songs in order to raise money for AIDS charities in Pattaya.

One of the boyfriends went home to his family near Korat and celebrated Loy Krathong. He really enjoys taking photos and he gave me permission to share these with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. (yes, the photo of him and the lady with the lantern is his girlfriend/wife for many years)

For Pattaya Fireworks 2012, there are four countries participating in, China, Singapore, Canada and The United States.The first night they each shot off 10 min or so worth of fireworks. The 2nd night they all shot off for 45 minutes. I do not yet know who won but I'll try to find out. Last year China won.
It is a fun event as they close off beach road completely for those 2 days. It makes traffic a mess but there are tons of vendors, food, etc. on the street. It is a very festive atmosphere. Also, usually over 100,000 people come here to see this. That means Pattaya is esp. packed!

I was sitting eating lunch at my favorite Day Night 2 Restaurant called Salt and Pepper. Along on the motorcycle came this cute guy smiling ear to ear. I recognized him but it has been a while. He has been in the army for 2 years and is on leave. He parked and ate lunch with us and it was great to catch up with him. He is a very sweet guy and very handsome IMHO.
Naturally, I wanted to help out a soldier so I asked him if he wanted to come over for a short time. He said yes and our date was set.
I just love me a soldier in camouflage pants!

This is a cute guy I met from the net. He is sweet and handsome and a very nice smooth body. He said he was 22 but I think he was about 28 or so and he is a bit larger than the pic looks. And, he was a bit more effeminate than I expected. LOL But, a super sweet young man.

Since the boys and I have been on a homemade break streak, we made a fun Beer and Monterrey Jack Cheese Bread today. Yummy!

Mini Siam is an amusement park (tourist trap) outside of Pattaya. Here they have small replicas of many major world attractions.

The BF and I love playing chess. We try to play a bit each night as our balcony has a nice view of Pattaya Bay. We are pretty evenly matched and it is a very restful thing for us.

There are so many things to see and do in Thailand and I often think I have seen them all. But, I am often amazed when I find something so close that I have not been to before or even heard much about. Today was one of those days. The Nong Nooch Garden is one of these places. It is a short distance from Pattaya. It is a beautiful garden with some wild animals and tons of gardens and things to do. It also has a place for lunch that is OK as well.
