Where were you/what were you doing as 9/11 unfolded back in 2001?

You and I talked that day, remember, Oz? I actually had an appointment with one of your boys that evening, which was obviously cancelled. New York was eerily quiet, like you say. Sad and scary. -

I lived in New York at the time. It was a beautiful day that started normally. I walked to my office in Midtown and, when I got there, I found my colleagues watching the news on TV. At first, we thought it was an accident involving a small plane. We went to the boss's office, which had a view to Southern Manhattan and we saw the second plane crash into the Tower. We didn't understand what was going on, but we certainly knew that it was no accident and that they were not small planes. We were glued to the window and a while later, we saw the towers collapse. A terrible day unfolded, and the world took a turn for the worse. -

Yes, Bratislava is as far from Prague as Berlin is (a little over 300 km), while it is only 80 km away from Vienna, and 200 km from Budapest. Furthermore, driving between Prague and Bratislava can be hell, given the usual traffic jams on the highway, which is in constant repair. The Czechs consider it a nightmare.

2 Years in Saudi Arabia OR How Did I Not Get Beheaded???
numerito replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Welcome back, Oz. What a crazy idea you had! Glad you made it home safely. And now, please take care of yourself. -
No, no, no, Suckie, please do NOT stop posting pictures, please, please, please, pretty please!

That is exactly what I called the new "slow typing". It happens on my iPad, and it drives me nuts!
-
Thanks for asking, Suckrates. Logging in has become a cumbersome procedure for me since the "upgrade". It takes several tries before the main page loads (many error messages) and, when --or if-- it finally does, the message center page takes forever to appear. Once I am there, I have to supply my credentials several times before the system finally recognizes me, and I am not even sure then that I am getting the latest page. It is like pulling teeth. I have therefore reduced my visits and my posts. It is frustrating: I find useful information in the European section, where I also contribute, and I enjoy the pics you post, Suckie, thanks. I need my "fix", but it is getting increasingly difficult to get...Everything worked perfectly before. I posted a message on this in the appropriate section of the board. BTW, I don't like the new "slow typing" system. Maybe it only happens to me: the characters I type do not "print" immediately, but intermittently. I do not find it cool.

My log-in problems are still there, and are getting even worse. I tried Oz's suggestion.....no success. These days it is a real achievement to get the page to load (whether the over 18 page, the forum page, or the main page). And, once I get it on board after several attempts, most of the time the message board page does not recognize me and asks me repeatedly to enter my ID and password, over and over again. It is getting very, very annoying!
-
Thank you, Oz. I will try that. Everything is going well, I hope it is the same with you. Take care.

Ever since the upgrade of the Message Center, I have been having problems to log in. Sometimes, I cannot even open the main page (I get an error message "there were too many redirects"). Once I can access it, the system doesn't seem to recognize me, and I have to supply my credentials twice or even three times. HELP HELP HELP! Thank you.

I don't really know about overnight rates in Prague, but the hourly fee here usually goes from 2500 to 3500 Czech crowns (around 100 to150 US dollars), depending on whether or not there is anal sex involved. The boys frequently quote their rate in euros, ranging from 100 to 150, which amounts to roughly 2700 to 4000 Czech, or $110-$170. If you insist in paying in crowns, you get a better deal. There are, of course, kids who want more, even going to 5000 crowns (around $200) in some cases, but you can easily get them to lower their expectations to a more normal rate. Compared to US rates, like the $250-$300 or more that you find in NYC, Prague is very affordable, and we locals want to keep it that way, discouraging visitors to pay excessive fees. We don't want you guys to ruin our market!

I am in an open relationship, with certain rules and limitations. It has worked very well for 13 years (and counting), and we love each other like the first day, or probably even more...

Expected temperature in Prague tomorrow, minus 15 degrees Celsius, that is 5 Fahrenheit.....Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

Uruguay is definitely gay friendly, Oz, but I don't know the scene there. Everybody says that it is a very pleasant country, where time seems to have stopped. You say you'll be there next summer. Just remember that "our" Northern Hemisphere summer is their winter and that it might not be the best season to be there. One of the good things about Montevideo is that it is across the Río de la Plata from Buenos Aires....

You are not alone, mleko. My nipples are just like yours: sensitive, erogenous and yearning to be licked, caressed and played with. A najor turn on, major, really major :) Hot pic as usual, Suckrates. Hot. Thank you.

Well, axiom, thank God I am in Europe :) I must admit, though, that the local Prague adorable boys keep me quite busy, but I do get to Paris often...
-
Pretty boy, no doubt. Thanks for the heads up, ganymede!

Villa Mansland - Prague
numerito replied to bobtpa1614502761's topic in European Men and Destinations
It is accessible by metro, apparently close to one of the last stations of line C. According to the metro website (www.dpp.cz), the trip from Wenceslas Square (station Muzeum) should take 12 minutes. Now, I don't know how far from the station the place actually is, and one should be aware that metro service ends at around midnight. I agree that it is off the beaten path and, for a newcomer to Prague, it can seem somewhat adventurous. I have never been there myself, and therefore cannot tell if it is worth it... -

To be fair, I did have very nice experiences with two escorts in Amsterdam who turned out to be Romanian, neither of them Roma..... -
And what about the other one?

I agree with AdamSmith. In Prague, I rely on GayRomeo...
