By not being fluent in Espanol, I would hesitate to do this alone, but my good friend and traveling partner does speak Spanish and has helped me in both Rio and Buenos Aires. If he has his heart and mind to traveling to an additional place in 2011, then we might venture to Colombia. Again, thanks tom and the other writer whose name I've forgotten. All of the guys who've indicated that they were in Colombia at the F4F website are super hot and hung. But again-- I also know what is in Brasil per Tom's suggestions and contributions as well as my own trips there.

For almost two months, I have been playing with the guys at "Flirt for Free" which is a misnomer to say the least. After watching a travel segment on Logo television last week where the aforementioned restaurant was featured, I decided to list it as a "Must Go" if I manage to return to Rio de janeiro next October. I am anxious to return to experience new adventures as well as reacquaint myself with some previous ones which I cherish and highly remember. I am elated to read that one of our own board members here has been there and highly recommends it. The television segment featuring this venue from a "gay" viewpoint was refreshing! From what we've gotten here, I'm enthusiastic, too!

I enjoyed the read and plan to note the changes at the various saunas when I return, I hope, during next October 2011. In terms of the guys' requested fee, as of today R$50 = $29.38 US, R$70= $41.14US and R$100= a mere $59.00; thus MEN, these are still relatively CHEAP rates as contrasted with the US and Europe. In the US the going rates, depending on location and the fame of the guy, are $250 to $400 per hour. The "porn stars" charge an upwards of $400- $500. I've wanted to be with some of them but NOT at those rates/fees.

Oz, that is one friggin' hell of a long trip from Asia to South America. You don't want to enjoy the weather and feast your eyes on all of those hot men for a day or two before taking the "deep plunge" amongst all of those heavenly bods at the saunas??? Club 117 is indeed closed on Mondays, but Meio Mundo is there, and if "push comes to shove" and you are in dire need of some Brasilian "blessings," remember there is always Pointe 202!!!

I ditto TotallyOz's comments. Although I've done a "cultural route" of Rio-- I still would like to experience a "heavy dosage" of Lapa on a Friday night. In 2002 Ernani, a guide and escort at the time who had a well-paying job during the day, and I went to Lapa, but we merely meandered around throughout the throngs of folks for almost two hours, never venturing into any restaurants or clubs. I want to do both of the latter activities the next time I'm in Rio. I want to do a lot of different things yet a few that I've done previously. Rio de janeiro is my most favorite city in this world of ours!

When I went to Foz do Igauzu, my guide asked me if I'd wanted to go to a sauna that was in the area. I chose NOT to because that was NOT my reason for going to the area, but the prime reason was I wanted to experience the saunas in Rio and Sao Paulo. I did go to a great sauna that's in Curitiba, but I also did the cultural route during the day and enjoyed the overall experience.
