  1. ...written supremely. Hope the man who began this thread will begin to accept your and other's salient comments and views. This could go on and on and on without any conclusion. Enough of the tit for tat responses, parisrio2000. I, for one, do NOT like reading volumes on internet screens! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
  2. Your weather which you cited brought back the type of weather my friend and I had to endure during our two week stay in Rio de janeiro in October of 2011. I love a sunny, warm day in Rio, not an overcast--dreary one! It removes the vibrance from the ambiance. {...loved guy one and two in the photo, btw--from left to right....} :yes:
  3. May this particular birthday be highly joyous and memorable! You're in a place where it can be! H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y OZ
  4. DITTO! You know you have it "good!" I'm jealous!!
  5. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS and quite, quite enticing indeed!
  6. Both guys are simply stunning! ...wish Washington would not wear those ear studs. {I could not remember the correct name.} They distract from his beauty {in this pic anyway}.
  7. This is making me hungry!!!!! :tongue:
  8. Hope for a very speedy recovery! Axiom
  9. Do I see a "bitch session" escalating? If others and I do, why not just let what's been written stay that way without the debate and the disbelief. I read it and thought and that was that.
  10. Is a new museum to be built on Av Atlantica on the site of an old night club which had a rough reputation? Three years or more ago, the design was approved, but I do not remember the tentative date for its completion. Is what you posted the one?
  11. In addition to the fine suggestion by ihpguy, there is a list of sex motels @ www.netgay.com.br, but I had NO personal experiences with any of them!
  12. At one time I would wear a towel and flip flops; today I wear my boxers and a tee shirt and drape towel over shoulder. Have not had any problems. If you are a large man, they have large towels, but most guests and "bois" wear towels only! {A few locals stay dressed, select their "boi" or "bois" and take them home or to a sex motel later. They don't connect sexually in the sauna per se.}
  13. DAMN, this is interesting. Long ago while I was at a place that had lots of glory holes in San Francisco, a man approached me and offered me ten dollars to give me a blow job. At first I declined; then I accepted his offer. Damn! Damn! Damn, I am truly glad that I did. He removed his false teeth and sent vibrant chills up and down my spine. He even had me panting heavily. Best blow job that I'd ever had in my life. But your story is better! The receipt of dollars anyway! - - - -
  14. This trip was postponed until this May 2013. Hope NOTHING happens to prevent my experiencing Prague as an openly gay man!
  15. Oz- I'm elated for you on your recovery. As stated previously, being ill on a trip is pure hell, indeed! I, along with you, have quite a fondness for Rio, too! The place exudes an aura of mystery! Continue to enjoy MM; it, too, has always been my favorite sauna when it comes to these venues! -
  16. Thanks for the info. I've used Brasilian Airpass twice now; I purchased it through www.brol.com which is an agency based in Florida. Great service.... ...prices quite reasonable in the past!! - -
  17. Yes, Anthony, the blogmaster was one of the men who sponsored the tour which I took in 2005 to Santo Domingo. His blog/website is full of valuable information for the traveling gay man. His updates are supreme!
  18. Yes, when I first went to Rio in 2002, I found out the hard way that Ingles is NOT widely spoken, this highly dampened my trip; I aborted it and returned home. Since then I've been with a friend or have had a guide or guides in each place I've ventured. Almost all of my guides, excepting the one I had in Salvador, have been gay and could speak my language as well. So I could very definitely identify with what you wrote regarding communication or lack of. I'd advise against your renting an auto and driving in Brasil unless you've done something like this previously. It's not the easiest based on observation as well as from what others had relayed to me in terms of transportation in Brasil and Argentina.
  19. Oz, I personally what to thank you for apprising me {us} of your experiences and adventures while you're in the various cities in Brazil. Every time I read your reports and view your wonderful pics, I keep asking myself will I be "doin' it" in July/August 2013. I say this because I'll be in Europe for a month in May and early June, beginning in Berlin and ending in Barcelona. The only thing left to do for this trip is to organize myself as a traveler; the specifics have been fulfilled. Again, muito obrigado and continue to enjoy and remain safe and well! Axiom
  20. Obrigado! You tried. Perhaps next time with prior notice, for apparently he's busy and or travels a lot. He failed to answer my query of him which I posted on Facebook a few weeks back when I thought I'd be in Bahia in July/August 2013. My plans are still in abeyance-- more "no" than "yes!"
  21. Yes, yes, the report and photos are fantastic, indeed! Make me want to return to Bangkok before year's end! Also, your "DESSERT" is indeed yummmmmmmy as well. Did he speak Ingles?
  22. There are two cultural shows that are NOT to be missed either. One is held at the art center or museum; the other is in the colonial part of town. I've gone to both, twice to the latter one. Also, there is a "drumming party" also held by a popular musical group in old town as well. Sorry I can't remember its name though it's rather popular, but with your recent health problemo, I'd give this a second and third thought. You don't want anything to impair your ear situation any further. I thank you for those gorgeous photos. Do take some of the elevator and the bunda statue which is outside of it in old town. Try to go to the "AFrican MUseum" if possible, too! {Written on Saturday morn/California time 11:42A}
  23. DITTO! I could see myself giving him a very torrid "tongue bath."
  24. Salvador {Bahia}, Brasil is my SECOND favorite city of this country: Rio {"He Oh" pronunciation} is my FIRST.
