Krit is trying to come clean, telling the NY Post that he suffered a manic episode due to being bipolar. Nice try. It would make him a more sympathetic character if mentally ill, rather than on drugs. Read his first person story here: http://nypost.com/2016/08/06/a-manic-episode-led-me-to-strip-naked-in-times-square/

A Virginia mayor was arrested in a hotel after he gave meth to men he thought he was going to hook up with: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/virginia-mayor-busted-selling-meth-exchange-group-sex-article-1.2739760 And, on the West Coast, another mayor was arrested. Stockton mayor, Anthony Silva, was found to be taping teens playing strip poker in his bedroom at a youth camp. One of the youths was a 16-year old male. His lawyer says he is "100% innocent." The incident came to light when Silva's computer was seized after he entered the United States from China, where he was attending a conference. http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Stockton-mayor-arrested-over-strip-poker-game-at-9123454.php

The NY Times looks at the threat of terrorism in Rio: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/02/world/americas/rio-de-janeiro-olympics-terrorism-brazil.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=second-column-region®ion=top-news&WT.nav=top-news Here are some American soldiers before training the Brazilians:

Not sure that this a very accurate picture of Rio, but, it is troubling.

The more terrorist activity there is, the better the chances for Trump to win. He markets himself as the Law and Order candidate. Get the people scared, and they will rush to give up their personal rights in order to feel secure.

I try faithfully to keep , computer cookies to a minimum. But, after being away for a few days and my computer locked, I now have, according to my spyware program. 1164 cookies on my computer. I want cookies for the sites i meet each day, but is spyware the only way to block them? Most of the cookies are for ads I looked at, some are ad cookies. Just how much of a threat is his? Are there other ways to stop it? What do these cookies do, besides follow you through the internet?

This thread is like old home week. To think I was posting here ten years ago? That's just sad.

Well, no, but he could fistfuck me.

I wonder why no poster has ever adopted the name Barracuda as a screen name.

Yes, I managed a ticket while they were still sane. It is nothing short of amazing!

Porto Alegre - Rio July 2016
Lucky replied to pauleiro's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Pauleiro, I love seeing your reports. Porto Alegre sure is a favorite of mine, so keep the reports coming! -
It's certainly been one of my favorite destinations. I have always felt safe. I was there in September, as was Zika. If I got it, I sure didn't know it. Most people don't react to it at all. As for crime, yes, economic conditions have worsened, and people see our comparatively lavish lifestyles. So we need to be more cautious. It wouldn't hurt to be more generous as well.

Protesters wanting to protest the killings of young black men by police generally did it peacefully. But I cannot condemn those snipers any stronger. They are simply wrong and what they did was counterproductive to the protest movement. It was also reprehensible, immoral, illegal and painful to the families of the cops and to those who care about the police. Who do we call when someone hate-bashes us. rapes us, steals from us, hurts us, or a friend? We call the police. We want them to show up, to be professional, and to care. So it seems a simple idea that we have to do the same for them. My sympathies to the friends and families of the deceased Dallas officers.

Krit McClean has been released from Bellevue with orders to get psychiatric treatment. He goes back to court next month. No doubt he is contemplating his future.

Thanks for the report, Pauleiro. The last guy pictured would be in my room by now! -
Happy Birthday, Tomcal. You are missed.

Speaking of Bieber, he did some wet underwear shots today: Now, Lurker, have I hijacked the Barbra thread or given it more attention?

Do you ever wonder what happened to Randy Harrison, the cute twink from Queer As Folk? Well, look no more. He's playing the MC in Cabaret, now at the Golden Gate Theater in San Francisco until July. Then they head to LA to play in the cavernous Pantages theater, where nosebleed seats are still expensive. I'm pretty good about avoiding expensive tickets. I paid $172 to see Hamilton. Maybe $202 to see The Book of Mormon. Then I went crazy and bought a ticket secondhand to a Cubs game at the end of the season. It's a pretty good seat, but at $245, I couldn't spend more! So, it was a shock when they added a $70 service charge to the $245. I saw it just as I was hitting the "complete purchase" button, but too late to stop. Thankfully my protests caused them to refund me $30 of the fee. I wouldn't pay a lot to see Barbra or any singer unless it was up close. If you can see them as only a speck, why not just listen to the album? When I took my sister to see The Beatles way back when, it was at a ballpark, and they were quite far from the seats, probably to prevent people trying to jump the stage. But the girls screams were so loud, you couldn't hear The Beatles anyway. It was an experience. I don't remember the year, but my car was a 1970 model. I would pay to see Justin Bieber, but again, only if up close and personal!!! (I did get to see Yoko and Sean up close once. They passed me coming out an elevator. Neither sang, but they were friendly.)
