At one point the Palm Springs Weekend made it clear that guys here were welcome. Totally Oz showed up and I think had a good time. I know that I enjoyed seeing him. I didn't go last year but I plan to go this year. Temperatures should be in the low 80's with lots of sunshine, making a pool party a great idea. Oliver has a nice yard and pool. For the past few years, the Saturday night dinner has been held at Trio. Anyone here is welcome to attend. Palm Springs is a friendly place!

In the cast listings for Love, Simon, there is no one listed as "leaf blower!" My thinking is that the guy has a bigger role than that. The pix at imbd.com are too small to recognize him. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5164432/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast Is this guy on left the same guy as the leaf blower?
-
Oh, tomcal, you tease! You know that we all want to hear about that "certain guy!" Is it love?

Um, when one posts a video here it is usually with the expectation that they will. The hope is that they enjoy it too.

Violence Against Gays Increases in Brazil
Lucky replied to Lucky's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Tonight I received an email telling me that my nephew's neighbor went to Brazil and was killed outside a bar. I don't have any details, but I will try to find out where it happened. He could have been asking for trouble, I dunno. -
I didn't know that!

Over at the other site, a New York get together for members of Daddys Forums is being proposed. No date has been set, right now it's just a matter of jjkrkwood finding out who is interested. This is not a new idea, gatherings like this have occurred in several places. But it's the first time that jjkrkwood has shown an interest, and hosting it at that. The invite is directed to ALL NY members and those in neighboring states. As of yet, Boytoy members still await their invitations. But I have no doubt that we who qualify will also be invited. I am confident that jjkrkwood wants as many people who are interested in showing up to feel welcome. So we await details here at Boytoy. Now I no longer live in New York...

The spelling of Mr. Santos' first name has been corrected from Arthy to Arfhy. With that information, I was able to find a video he posted on YouTube of his gym workout: Yes, I think he has a nice body and am sorry he will likely be working out next in prison. He looks like the singer "Freko Amenaza, who's real name is ...Arthy Santos!." He has an album, ReverbNation. Perhaps my original reaction that this was a talented guy was right. Arfhy Santos as Freko Amenaza, rapper Arfhy Santos, arrestee

This video is hilarious, so I am surprised that it didn't get a better response. Do you all see Jimmy Kimmel live?

Violence Against Gays Increases in Brazil
Lucky posted a topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
A startling new report on anti-gay violence has been released: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/jan/22/brazil-lgbt-violence-deaths-all-time-high-new-research -
In another thread floridarob says that tomcal is in Brazil and he thinks that tomcal is in love. Imagine that! Tomcal settled down! The loss to the garoto trade wold be immense, and the guys in Merida would not be pleased. Until they saw tomcal's happy face. It would be the Boytoy wedding of the century! Totally Oz would preside, resplendent in a gold tiara and surrounded by his acolytes.Perhaps the wedding would be at tomcal's Merida home, around the pool, with all the young guys in bikinis. Maybe I should wait and see if floridarob is right. But imagining the wedding is so much fun!

I first saw Stark in Journey's End on Broadway, but he didn't stand out for his looks because his uniform covered so much of him. Then I saw him in Bonnie & Clyde at the La Jolla Playhouse. That's where he had a scene baring his butt on stage. It's a very nice butt. I saw him last in Chicago, where Kinky Boots was doing a trial run. As for the gif above, I can't say. It could be! I didn't see American Idiot. In B&C, he is in a tub. When he gets out we see that he is completely naked and gives the audience a long view of the butt. I can't find a pic of that. A still shot of the gif above is more clear. It is Stark Sands. This appears to be a photoshop of Stark: In The Post, where his role is small, there is a scene where he is sitting with Meryl Streep. He's dressed up and looking very handsome. I cannot find a pic of that anywhere, so you will just have to see the movie!

I don't understand why the thread is turning to a discussion of rates again. It is a travel report.Rate questions belong in another thread. In fact, there are many of them to choose from. This forum has long been the best of Boytoy, but I sense a decline. Where is tomcal? We need him

I just can't win with Lars. I think he is upset that I didn't compliment Adam too. He's rather protective that way. But don't get me wrong, I could find some compliment for Adam if he wants.
-
When it comes to reverence, I can't hold a handle to you. Other than your name calling!
-
What? I didn't apologize to you in a pm! You are getting delusional now. Did my compliments go to your head? I simply said I had to go and would check back tomorrow. Then I found an opportunity to come back only to find this insult. Well, I did invite you to have at me, but this is beyond the pale! Surrender your hate, dude!
-
I couldn't agree more. You know, I saw that Adam and Lars were having a bro fest here and I was hesitant to interrupt. But I could not pass without complimenting Lars on his observations. Would that I could think of such stuff. So I stepped in. My regret is that I could not say some nice things about Adam, and that's not because he didn't post some good stuff, it's just that I was so focused on Lars. Would that more people were commenting. Anyway, I leave the thread back to you two. Carry on!

But you did, hon.

Larsstrup, honey, you are a hoot! I love it when you do the self-righteous stick. Why not use my whole premise, which was-"in my mind" the guy's apparent need for speed indicated he needed more than his good looks. It wasn't meant to be a profound statement like the kind you make..."I never understood other people's grief until that plane crashed"...(I was near tears when I read that!) I simply wondered at the irony of a guy who might otherwise be successful taking a speed ride in Times Square, hitting a cop, and probably going to prison. We all make choices in life. Good looking guys make mistakes. Would that it was otherwise. For all we prize good looks, they don't carry one so far as we might wish. (I know, not profound, but hey. We can't all be)

The hits keep coming! Since I can't come up with stuff like that, I will find a quote from someone who can!

Profound! Way too good for this website. I could never be so original. So I borrow....

This movie was a thrill to watch. As a former newspaper carrier, I loved getting those bundles of papers which made my hands so inky yet smelled so good. Watching them come off the presses here after the brilliant battle at the Post over printing the Pentagon Papers was a joy. The acting is fantastic. You Better Call Saul! Bob Odenkirk has a big role and he delivers! So do the others, especially Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. I wondered who the cute actor was playing Katherine Graham's son, and found out later it is Stark Sands, of Kinky Boots fame. (I've seen his bare butt, live!)* The movie is especially good at a time when the press is not honored, when the Supreme Court would not likely support the printing of leaked government documents. I was proud to remember the role of the press back then. I do recommend this movie! *Sorry, Larstrup, for making a reference to a cute actor's nudity here on the Boytoy website! I should only focus on his acting skills, but somehow cute guys can be a distraction.
-
Larstrup, I always appreciate your observations. God forbid that anyone would come to a website named Boytoy and express an interest in the life of a good-looking guy.

Jimmy Kimmel showed the Donald Trump porn video, and it is hilarious:
