Oh, Sucky. Your heart needs work, I know that. Sleep in and you might not be so cranky.
-
You mean Adam Smith and Lartstrup? They are quite the couple, are they not?
-
Sucky, stirring the pot is a common thing on message boards. Stay calm. As a matter of fact, I learned about it from the jjkrkwood manual on posting! From the jjk manual:

Is it the thread that LovenDino resurrected from a year ago? There are some posters there who live in the forums, always posting stuff which often is pointless. I think one poster has 4 screennames, none of whom post anything worthwhile..

There are no plans for a second season of The Last Post, much to the dismay of its fans, including me. I have to wait for season 2 of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as it is!
-
I have been debating about seeing this movie a second time. But now, my library has the novel ready for me to read. After I finish that, it might be fun to see how different the movie is from the book.

This being that other thread that Oz couldn't find: https://www.boytoy.com/forums/topic/28419-rip-lurkerspeaks/
-
Lurkerspeaks was not in great health when he arrived in Thailand, and with a few days fun he wore down even more. None of us were there to know exactly what happened, and I don't know his family. Perhaps Townsend P. Locke has information.

I learned that I miss Zipperzone here. So I looked up his question. In 2017 it was reported that the Queen actually owns a McDonald's franchise. https://www.today.com/food/queen-elizabeth-owns-mcdonald-s-uk-t117963 As for eating there, well, probably, but the video is comedy:

TotallyOz Godlike Member Administrators 4,011 9,446 posts Gender:Male Report post Posted August 28, 2016 All discussions regarding the "other site" will be moved to the Sandbox Forum for the rest of 2016. There are no exceptions to this. In the last week, I have gotten more emails than in the last 4 years. It is not something I wish to deal with. There are other forums out there. Please do not use this forum in this way. Discussion promoting one's own business is welcome. But, any hint of a feud started at Daddy's or one iota of discussion about that site and the thread will be permanently moved to the Sandbox. My apologies for inconveniencing my community. TotallyOz Godlike Member Administrators 4,011 9,446 posts Gender:Male Report post Posted August 28, 2016 No discussions regarding this. It is done! Oh, it's only bad in 2016? That hardly makes sense.

Gosh, Adam, just looking at your response above gives the fairy tale you tell about this site a shade. This site once spent lots of time trashing the other site, but we grew out of that. Why would anyone want to go back to those days?
-
When the "offer expired" response appears, you can click below for current offers. I chose the AAdvantage Aviator Red World Elite Mastercard and was instantly approved. It comes with 60000 bonus miles, first checked bag free, and 2x points on American purchases. This is a good deal for me as my AA points expire soon. Hopefully this act will keep them from expiring. So, thanks, tassojunior, for the link! It worked for me!

kjun, why do you bring this up here? Why not ask at the relevant site? Oz has made it clear that he doesn't want this site used to make complaints about that site. We thrive on our own. You and I have been posting a long time, and we have seen people go back and forth on any number of issues. But since "Daddy" has no participation at the Boytoy site, why use it to start a thread of bitches about him? I, for one, have other things to do.!

New pictures of Rio might now include the increasing number of homeless people settling around Copacabana Beach...and alarming the residents! They fear the neighborhood is heading toward slum status. They are fighting back. Read all about it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/the_americas/copacabana-beach-is-a-symbol-of-brazil-now-its-also-symbolic-of-its-homeless-problem/2018/01/26/51441672-ffcb-11e7-86b9-8908743c79dd_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-cards_hp-card-world%3Ahomepage%2Fcard&utm_term=.c85ebc138718

Very interesting article on the declining fortunes of Rio, along with some stellar photography. https://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/2018/01/25/grasping-rios-beauty-and-tragedy-joao-pina/?action=click&pgtype=Homepage&version=Moth-Visible&moduleDetail=inside-nyt-region-0&module=inside-nyt-region®ion=inside-nyt-region&WT.nav=inside-nyt-region

The Last Post is a 6 episode series on Amazon that had me totally intrigued this week. It's about a British Army base in Aden in 1965, when the Empire was crumbling. Like other streaming series, it has a bit of soap opera to it as we learn the stories of the various cast members. What first intrigued me was the very handsome Tom Glynn-Carney as Tony Armstrong as a Lance Corporal who falls in love with an Arab women. (They are both so pretty.) Lots of drama, but a story line that I found captivating. There's a lot of skin. And another cute guy. And, not the least, the trailer, so you can get an idea of the story. BTW, it also stars Ben Miles, who played Group Captain Townsend on The Crown.

Its entire City Council is gay...oops, LGBT...oops, LGBTQ!!! Personally I am not an acronym, I am gay. The popularity of the acronym, in my opinion, diminishes us.

The business would crash without them.

Oh, Oz. What you don't know! Atlantis gay cruises are notorious drug parties, or so I hear. We went on one once and never saw any drugs, but friends who do them regularly have no trouble finding them. As I recall, a West Hollywood dealer was busted big time once, and word was he was the house dealer! https://www.advocate.com/news/daily-news/2011/02/13/drug-bust-atlantis-cruise Krumholz got 21 months in jail.

I actually think Larstrup has some good things to say and I don't want to miss them. I can take his nastiness, at least so far. The intensity of it is curious though.

It's proximity to LA helps, kjun12. I first came here in 1980 for a weekend. I didn't like it. Of course that changed. There are indeed a lot of older people here who like the dry climate, the mountain views, and the relatively lower cost of living compared to big cities. The gay life is not just old men because many young LA guys come here for the weekend to party or play. But, as far as masseurs, they tend to be older, and escorts usually operate out of LA.

tomcal is your friend! Bar Mixx can be a fun place. I would not know that if tomcal had not taken me there!

Thanks for sharing this tidbit, tomcal. Perhaps more details will follow, but, yes, I agree, it's your story to tell or not.
