Since we have noved to a new hotel near (somewhat) the old Prince Sauna, can anyone tell me if a) it is still open, and b) is it worthwhile?

I was planning to go to Screwboys, but have yet to make it. Naturally, I will give a full report!
-
Have you been trying?

Steven would be a great asset here. He is not known for being succinct, but he’s always honest and sincere.

A sitting story: whilst sitting on the toilet in my Bangkok hotel room, I suddenly felt a large burst of warm liguid. It was an explosion! I panicked, jumped up from the toilet, fraught with worry that some organ had burst But once I was up, I could see what happened. The hotel had installed new toilets. I hadn’t noticed that now I could wash the front or the rear. A blow dry came after! So, the blowout that I thought was from me was the butt washer, now frantically trying to find my butt. Not to worry, we’ve become the best of friends!

Are you sure that you don’t mean prune juice?

Maurice is aging well for a guy over 100.

Do you recommend the new Freshboys? Screwboys? The husband likes a more mature guy... to old, like me!
-
Where is it? Fresh Boys is in the spot where I think Screwboys used to be. Not that I looked hard as we were gathering supplies.

Happy New Year! -
This topic has run its course! That's my opinion, but not to worry, I am not pissed off!

I have not canceled my trip to Thailand and leave this week. I am no numazu, so don't expect any enlightening and entertaining trip reports! Hopefully, I will find plenty of fun in Bangkok, perhaps even with a Thai guy or two...or three? I am there 8 nights. Then on to Hong Kong. My Chinese husband is always helpful, not just in Hong Kong where he can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and Hainanese, but in Thailand, where so many are of Chinese descent and the dialect Teochew is common. I let him do all of the bargaining for me. It's crazy how the merchant starts dealing with me at one price, but with him they start lower right away.

I have thought this over. If one of us lost a partner, no one would question us posting about it. Hell, if we lost a dog we'd be posting about it. So where does the rule get drawn that you cannot post about a loss- of any kind. It's the same thing Oz is always telling us- ignore what you don't like. Obviously an escort and a client can form a close bond. It can hurt when bonds no longer exist. So post about it. Many of us will be here for you.

It's a big deal when they monopolize the guy you are interested in. Sometimes they don't even off him, but it's usually too late by the time that gets decided. It's a big deal when the guys cater to the girls from the stage to show how straight they are. Gays pay. Women think they don't have to. Just my observations.

I am gathering that there are not many book readers here, BigK being a big exception. But I just finished a great novel called A Ladder to the Sky, by John Boyne. It's about an aspiring young writer who takes advantage of his extreme beauty to endear himself to older authors. He then takes what they have to teach him and then dumps them. Gore Vidal did not so succumb, in an interesting chapter. As he becomes famous, with little talent, he needs to keep finding sources for his writings, but eventually, his looks fade and he drinks a lot. And then he meets young Theo. It's a fascinating novel, ranked 4.5 stars at Amazon, and 5 stars by me.

You make a good point, Paborn1340.

Well, I was not then a child. How is a guy supposed to feel after learning that the priests were diddling all the boys...except for himself! What was wrong with me? Well, I think they must have known that I would never have kept it quiet.
-
No priest ever hit on me either. However, as an adult, I allowed the head of a seminary I attended for one year to stay at my place and gave him my bed while I slept on the couch. He kept telling me that we had yet to properly say goodnight. This is after he had gone to bed. So I said good night, that's it. Never saw him again.

Well, I doubt this guy diddled Ike. -
Well, what happened in the intervening five years?

Thanks for the report, bitch! Above is a private joke. -
https://www.theguardian.com/books/2018/dec/30/ikes-mystery-man-review-robert-bobby-cutler-peter-shinkle President Dwight D. Eisenhower employed a gay man as his personal secretary during some of the most troubling battles against gays in the 50's. A witch hunt like Trump has never seen aimed to ferret gays out of the government, but right next to the president was a gay man, troubled, closeted, and not always fair to other gays. Ike’s Mystery Man is the perfect title for Peter Shinkle’s fine biography, from which the big headline is about Cutler’s shepherding of a disastrous 1953 executive order under which the lives of thousands of federal employees were destroyed just because they were gay," the Post says. The new book should be a fascinating read.
