We Netflixed Patrik 1.5 tonight. It is about a gay couple in Sweden who adopt a young boy, Patrik, who is a year and a half old...or so they think. Turns out that the 1.5 is a typo, and Patrik is really 15, and a homophobe. The actor Thomas Ljungman plays Patrik, and since he is actually 19, I can say that he is a super doll. He plays the role well, and, of course, learns to like the gay homos. We both liked the movie a lot, so give it a try. Patrik

It's really nice to see so many new guys here. I hope you stick with it because I think you will find it not only fun, informative, and erotic, but in the long run you will get to know some pretty nice people.

The numerous incidents recently where police officers have been killed or injured in the line of duty are exceptionally high, but it does remind us that each radio call or traffic stop could be a dangerous situation for the officers. We can be quick to criticize the police, but we shouldn't forget the nature of their job is stressful and often dangerous. Decisions have to be made quickly or it becomes a matter of life or death. So, here's to the police. (toast) May you always be safe.

Well, there is excitement in my house as the Year of the Rabbit approaches. We celebrate Chinese New Year each year as the bf is of Chinese heritage. I've gotten to like the New Year's music that he plays. The Chinese opera not so much, but I dare say that I have heard more Chinese Opera than any other Caucasian in history! I went to Bangkok's Chinatown last week and bought the decorations. They are kind of hard to get in Palm Springs. Gung Hay Fat Choy folks!

In speaking with Oliver as he loaded the wagon train for his trip out west, I learned that he has a record number of folks saying that they will attend this year. Sure, some will drop out, but others who have yet to decide may make the numbers even higher. So it looks promising at this stage. If you are on the fence about coming, think how sad you will feel when you learn that you missed the event of the year!

I didn't test security at the fancy hotels due to previous experiences. I want to bring he guy back and not be stopped or questioned. I realize that they don't really care, but I find it intrusive. In the past, they have just wanted me to register the guy and pay $40 more. But, in both cases the guy did not have his ID with him. (Both from Tawan-no question that each was of age.) Once security knocked on my door and said they thought I had a woman in the room. I vociferously denied this, but they insisted on checking anyway. My muscle guy from Tawan still had his briefs on, but it was clear what we were up to. They, too, just wanted the $40. At another hotel, the manager was a friend of a friend of mine and told me that I could bring guys back without problem. But, when I escorted a guy out after we had enjoyed each other's company, a man in a suit got on the elevator with me. He pushed a different floor, but got off with me. Then he said he was security and wanted to check my room as he said I had a guy in there. He looked like security, so I was intimidated and he did check my room. OF course, the guy had left. The next morning I told the manager of this and he checked it out. Security claimed that none of their men did this to me, leaving it a mystery who this guy was.

I assume so...no one has ever wanted to do sneakers with me, so I don't know. You realize, of course, that my message above was meant to be humor.

That's a very good question. She was a horrible, and probably corrupt, Senator. Thankfully the IL Supremes indicate they want Rahm on the ballot.

I'll probably be re-reading these reports for some time. I sure miss having exciting adventures await me everyday. Aces, it's your turn.

My family were avid readers. We went to the library and came home with stacks of books, which we read and returned for more. Which ones do I remember? The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, and a third one which came to my mind when I started this post but did not stay for the writing of it. I liked Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer, but literature might have been above me. In high school of course I liked Catcher in the Rye and Flannery O'Connor's short stories. I think I am one of the few people to have read Middlemarch all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I had a lying friend with benefits for several years, and I always forgave him because I liked him and was attracted to him. In retrospect, I was a fool to put up with his bullshit. When someone continually lies to you, they don't have much respect for you, do they? But, we can so easily be tempted to gloss over these issues.

When you leave your hometown to serve your government in Washington, you should not be stripped of your status as a resident of your hometown without some declaration that your move is permanent. You can get elected to Congress, move to Washington, and still be considered a resident of your district, why should it be any different if you leave to serve the president? The idea that you have to pay to maintain two residences is elitist and can only deter poorer guys from being able to serve.

I don't care where they sit either. Just not in the crosshairs of the right wing gun nuts.

You actually saw the guy's pic on the wall and then he made himself available? I like that. One could fantasize for years and never have that happen to him, so it was a lucky moment for you.

I can imagine that taking a helicopter over the falls is a hallmark way of seeing them, but I was quite impressed without doing that. I hired a guide who took us to various viewpoints in both Brazil and Argentina that were quite spectacular. Helicopters can ruin many a national treasure with their noise and constant intrusions on the view and the peacefulness of places like the Grand Canyon. But even they cannot drown out the falls!
