  1. Kudos to the NY Times today. Its Sunday Styles section is devoted to articles about gay marriages, and the wedding photos feature an unusual number of same sex couples. I always look at those photos to see who the cutest guy is. Today it is a Los Angeles man, who married a woman at a golf club in Wyoming. The wedding was presided over by a Universal Life minister...that is, he signed up to be a minister just so he could preside over his friend's wedding. So the sanctity of marriage is strong, just bring along the golf clubs and mail-order minister!
  2. You have a point there!
  3. Global warming? Chicago yesterday had a record 6.91 inches of rain, larger than the cock size of the average resident. Temperatures soared across the nation, with Minneapolis recently showing a heat index of 116. Power outages in New York and elsewhere added to the misery. San Diego remained mercifully temperate at 73 degrees. So, sure, it's a weather report, but is it also a harbinger of things to come? We are at the mercy of the gods here, unless we take significant steps to reduce our carbon footprint. Cities across the nation did report a significant drop in electricity usage when a popular website closed for 8 hours for server maintenance. But that was a one-time thing, so unless other websites close too, we could easily run out of power. (Cam4 gets an exception!) (I did watch the Yankee game yesterday and noticed hordes of shirtless young men in the bleachers. That was the place to be, or at the gay beach!)
  4. A little grease on those things they are carrying could substitute!
  5. Insofar as these state marriages are not recognized by the federal government, the benefits of the federal government do not apply to them. Thus, in Kramer's view, they just make the couples "feel good" to be married in the state. Until full benefits apply to these marriages, they are just "junior" marriages, not equal to straight marriage. My view is that they represent progress. However, if the bf and I married in New York, we'd come back to California and be considered unmarried. We might feel good about all of the wedding presents you guys send, but that is about it. On the other hand, an immigration judge the other day took account of the fact that the couple was legally married in refusing to deport the non-citizen. Obama has certified the repeal of DADT, even though the gay couples will not get the benefits awarded to straight military couples. For that to happen, they need to repeal DOMA. That's the biggie here.

    Hello Again...

Unfortunately, not a single pic I have tried to post lately has made it. Maybe the maintenance will fix that. Glad you are back. No butts about it.
  7. Californians are actually going to have one less hour. Take that, CharliePS.
  8. The Chinese have a bullet train? I hadn't heard this news. My guess is that the Norway killings will be the top story. Everyone expected Amy to OD someday soon.
  9. While hundreds of gay couples plan to get married Sunday in New York state, activist Larry Kramer won't be attending any of the nuptials. Kramer says: “These marriages, in whichever state, are what I call feel-good marriages,” Mr. Kramer said. “Compared to the benefits heterosexual marriages convey, gay marriages are an embarrassment — that we should accept so little, and with so much hoopla of excitement and self-congratulation.” Progress is progress, Mr. Kramer. let those who wish enjoy this milestone in gay rights, even if it isn't the end zone of politics.
  10. They're coming to help me, I think. The shrinks said I needed maintenance too, so these men are now coming to my door...
  11. Long known for her substance abuse problems and concert failings due to the same, singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in London. Details are still scarce, but drugs are suspected. She was 27 years old.
  12. I am confused, Axiom. What is the home page? Is it the main page of the Forums, or is it the main page of the website, the one with the reviews and profiles. These change all of the time, so which pictures need changing?
  13. The poor guy can't even afford clothing. And we think Brazil is expensive for us!
  14. Is it back up now? Can we resume posting? You know, a lot of priests got in trouble for "server maintenance' so be careful! I guess the site must have already been down since there isn't much new to read. Let's change that, fellows!

    Hello Again...

Well, after weeks in the hospital, I'll bet any male butt looked good to him! "For those of you who have never been, this lovely coastal city (Vancouver) boasts spectacular views, a very manageable downtown core and a collection of the most remarkable male buttocks ever assembled in one zip code." I can't get a single picture to show up. I get the same gray bar that MSGuy got.
  16. 25 for me, but I sure would add Asian butthole to the list!

    Hello Again...

But, being the butt fan that he is, he probably saw many butts with those gowns that don't close in the back!
  18. Now, now, CharliePS. Just like there are young gay nymphomaniacs, there are young straight ones too! Many of have had some wild sex lives, why shouldn't she?
  19. Okay.We smoked the joint and engaged in small talk. When that was over, the moment of truth came. All the while I had been waging this battle in my head. I had had sex with many women, but not since I finally had sex with a guy. Once I had no choice but to go to the bedroom or send her home, I sent her home. I assured her that I thought she was very attractive, but that my old fashioned beliefs just couldn't let me have sex with a married woman. They still can't! She was gracious about it and I never heard from her again.
  20. I knew a wealthy Wall Street trader when I lived in New York. He was quite a cokehead. He told me that after the excitement of a trading day they needed coke to keep the excitement going. They would hire hookers at high prices just to come over and do coke with them- no sex, because they just wanted to get high and not be alone. Thousands of dollars to a woman who did not even need to put out.

    Hello Again...

Glad that you checked in, ZZ. One of the downsides of anonymous posting boards is that we can't always fined out what is going on with a member who suddenly stops posting. And, yes, we were worried about you. Get well soon.
  22. Okay, this tale goes back some many years, but I am always interested in how others might have reacted to a situation where I didn't know exactly what to do. Early in my career I moonlighted teaching business and consumer law at a Business College. I was closeted, but had already came out to myself. One of my students, actually the best one getting all As, was a beautiful young woman. Because she was smart and almost always knew the answer, I called on her a lot. She was cute, boyish-looking, and smart. Married, too. She took two classes from me and that was it. Until. That is, until I received a call from her at work one day after the classes were over. She said she wanted to get together for lunch or whatever. I asked if this as business or pleasure...she responded: whatever you want it to be" So you are probably already guessing what she said when we went(for ice cream.) She said that she was happily married, yet her husband did not do enough to satisfy her sexually. She had heard, she said, that I was interested in her, and since she was interested in me, she invited to be her boyfriend, with benefits and no strings attached. She said her husband was knowledgeable of what she was doing and approved. Well, duh. She was pretty hot and what was I to do? Here was free sex, with no strings attached. She was cute, yet boyish. So couldn't I get past the feminine part? So, I went with her to my apartment. We smoked a joint together, and then... Well, that's where you get to finish the story. Remember, I was young, single, and horny...and opportunities like this did not come along often. She was no longer my student, having intentionally waited until classes were over to make her proposition. So, next, we...
  23. You won't find me arguing that Coca Cola is a health drink. I know I could lose a few pounds just by giving it up. However, since you mention rats, I did read that "a person would have to consume 3 million ounces, 154,000 20-ounce bottles of cola per day, to be exposed to the same dose (of ammonia) as a lab rat." The goal of healthy living is admirable. But people live long lives who smoke or otherwise screw up their health. Genes probably have more to do with longevity than healthy living. So I do what I can knowing that I am a frail human who depends on the genes I inherited to keep me going. I do exercise, quit smoking, avoid alcohol, and eat little fried food or ice cream and I still don't have a six pack. Now can we go to the House of Prime Rib?
  24. The NY Times today has an article telling us how much famous figures in history loved Coke. In this case, however, it was the powdered kind. Cocaine used to be easily available at a pharmacy without a prescription. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/20/books/howard-markel-on-cocaine-in-anatomy-of-addiction.html?hpw
