  1. Sorry to double post this. It seemed to take so long for the post to go up that I thought I had lost it.
  2. Why do you think so? She has to prove damages, and I don't see any.
  3. R. J. Ellory is an author who appeals to me so much that I ordered his books from London when they were not available here. His first novel to be available here was A Quiet Belief in Angels, and was just a terrific crime story. A Simple Act of Violence and Saints of New York were just masterpieces of crime fiction. Ellory lives in England, yet places his stories in the US with such fine detail that you would think he was native to the area. I told all of my friends of his books. Now I learn, rather late, that he had to apologize for writing reviews under a pseudonym that disparaged competing authors. Why? Why would a man of this talent stoop so low? His novels are still brilliant and well-worth reading, but another man I admired has gone down into the dust. Yes, we keep getting reminded that everyone is human, but this one really bothered me. If you are looking for something good to read, A Quiet Belief in Angels is superb, as are any of his novels except his first, Candlemoth. 4. Tel Aviv is in Europe, no? Not Africa. So why is this in a gay Africa forum?
  5. If I met rimchair in real life, I might find him to be an interesting and likable guy. But the rimchair who posts here is getting tiresome with the constant digs at Noah. Is it not time to move on? I came to this thread to read about a plane, not to hear one more dig.

Isn't it amazing how fast, and how often, the fares change? Sure would be a bummer to pay the higher fare and them learn it went down. Confidential to FourAces: Thanks for your concern! All I meant to say was that whenever it happens, I don't want to leave any unused miles!
  7. Let's hope that more happens. Maybe he will crack it open!
  8. Thanks for the report, firecat. Since I know the area, i was able to go along with you in my mind, even on the baht bus! It's a fun time that many guys here would enjoy. Sure, it's long ways away, but that adds to the mystique. One forgets that long flight as soon as you pass customs. And the trip home is three hours shorter, so nothing to worry about!
  9. A very kind response. I like that you offer to be of assistance.
  10. Marky Mark led the way, and look where it took him. But here Justin shows only about 2 inches of butt crack, and frankly, that's not enough to twitter about. I want more before I get excited. And the part I want the most is the pink, hairless, moist sweet spot that he will undoubtedly only show to his doctor and boyfriend! Think about it. the internet is rife with cute guys showing all, so why get too excited about two inches?
  11. It is my goal to use up all of my frequent flyer miles before I die. So I am constantly looking for trips, but I am tight and want the best trip for the lowest miles. AA offers a low 20,000 coach to get to Rio, but the return is always 60,000 miles. (That is, right now. In the past we have gotten both legs for 20,000 miles, but you have to be patient.) So I checked for a return from GRU (Sao Paolo) and was offered one for 50,000 miles. That's not only cheaper, but the return would be in Business class. Otherwise, I could return on United for just 30,000 miles in coach, but all choices are two stops. So AA wins this one. A GRU return allows me to fly to Porto Alegre from GIG and return to GRU for the flight home. Delta. Who likes to book award travel on Delta? They are easily the worst for frequent flyer awards. We have only 60,000 miles left as we don't fly them anymore. But they wanted 95,000 miles plus $199 for an off-peak trip to London. I will probably just use them for a New York trip. We have built up tons of miles by opening credit cards and checking accounts. Recently we got 50,000 to open a Chase Sapphire Account. Another Sapphire account gave us 40,000. Citicards usually offer 35,000, and 20,000 for each checking account. Once the first year free is up, we cancel the card unless we like it, as we do with both Sapphire and Citi Thank You Premier. The latter got me a nonstop flight to Chicago last year for 23, 500 miles. Without them, I would have had to pay 50,000 miles for the same flight. So what deals have you found? Any secrets to share? (All of my flying last year got me into United's Mileage Plus Silver medallion membership. So on all 4 flights to and fro New York last week I was upgraded free to Economy Plus. I liked that!)
  12. The last several visits I have made to the boytoy.com, website have been unimpeded by Firefox!
  13. Was anyone else disappointed in this movie? With all of the buzz it has, I was expecting more than a straightforward telling of the story. The raid on Bin Laden's house was all done in night-vision gear, so I could hardly see what was what. Two stars.
  14. I am frequently reminded that i would be better off had I bought a Mac!
  15. Let's not ignore how good Zac is looking...
  16. This visit required hardwork. Firefox seemed determined to keep me out. Even though I have cleared the cache multiple times, I still have problems. You guys are worth it though.
  17. I clean the cache frequently, but it does no good.
  18. A cross-dressing, meth selling priest in Connecticut, who used to go to Broadway musicals with Cardinal Timothy Egan, is in jail. He allegedly sold up to $9000 a week in meth. It was the selling to feds that seems to have stopped him. The priest also owned an adult video store that sold sex toys, many of which were discovered in the rectory. The Land of Oz sex store was supposedly used to launder the profits from the drug business. Apparently the priest had a boyfriend who lived in a house down the street. The 61-monsignor worried rectory employees with his long absences and odd-looking visitors. 19. I get multiple malware warnings each time I visit.
  20. I had strongly urged a couple of friends to see this show before it closed, and they did. It made me happy to hear them say how much they liked it.
  21. Anyone up for one more pic of Billy Magnussen?
  22. Yes, it got off to a Lucky start, but Oliver added so much with his pool event that has become such a big hit. It was just the right thing for the Weekend. Jason Carter has been an invaluable assistant these last few years since he first was my date, and then Oliver had the good sense to bring him back again, and again! Oliver gets the credit for the growth of the Weekend. He's a fine host. I wish everyone a good time, and hope that guys from this website will also feel welcome. We dropped the name Hooville Weekend some time ago to make it clear that it was a weekend for all of us to enjoy, no matter which website you favor. Totally Oz was able to make it a couple of years ago and was warmly welcomed.
  23. It's no longer just for the fetishists! Poop from healthy people can be used as a medicine- and it actually works better than antibiotics! No shit! You gotta get to the bottom of this one: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/17/health/disgusting-maybe-but-treatment-works-study-finds.html?hp Health food!
  24. I'm with NC Bored on this one. What does that post have to do with Lucky's Amazing Theater Reviews anyway?
