  1. Oh yes, we are over it. These boys would make so much more in a different market.
  2. Well many of us have complaints. In my case, the owner posted something under my screen name. When I complained, he banned me for life with ho hearing, no right to defend myself, and no gratitude for`my 13000 posts! He asked for donations due to car problems, then flew off to DC for several days of fun and games, and now is planning to come to the Palm Springs weekend no doubt without the car. But, in banning me, he did me a favor. I feel liberated from that site. I don't miss it at all. as for the Weekend, which I founded, I won't even be going. But the facts show that we at boytoy are on the rise, so rather than giggle about him, let's focus on this place, which I like.
  3. Doesn't everyone know Oliver's email address? i do, bu it is up to him to share it, not me. I don't have the authorization. BTW, Oliver is one of the true gentlemen of the boards. if you can make the event, you should, as meeting him is worth it.
  4. There was a time when bitching about the other site caused many hits here, but everyone wants this site to flourish on its own, and that is kooking good. So, let's talk bout the good things happening here, and not feed on complaints abut the other site. We're self sufficient now, we don't need t talk about the other site
  5. I heard that it wasn't really a meteorite, Just someone farting on a plane.
  6. Oh, BigK, I sure did not mean to start a thread about the other site. If we are on top, let's talk about this site.
  7. I like this pic much better: But boytoy doesn't: An error occurred You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community. Okay, I will try again to get an image suitable to this community:
  8. You know, I have taken to spelling"looking" like that just to be funny. But capitalizing it makes sure that it isn't lookin being referred to.
  9. Could it be that Oz was right all along? The new boytoy name doesn't seem to have hurt this site at all. In fact, it seems more popular than ever. And a certain other site is losing posts, if my casual observations are correct. Right now we have 31 people online, the other site has 24. For us, it's 14 members and 17 guests. For them, 7 members and 17 guests.. Lucky us, huh? (A fellow poster has been Lookin at the numbers and sharing them with me, thus I know more on this than I normally would.)
  10. Oh, I do remember you. Taylor, right? Are you practicing law now? Very smart guy, but yes, you did go off the rails. I am glad to accept your apology and glad to see you here.
  11. Well, I guess in the privacy of your own home...
  12. The Tawan Bar in Bangkok is known for its muscle boys. These guys are not necessarily good looking, but when a guy is good-looking and a hunk, well, he should have a rosy future as a bar boy. These guys usually expect a higher compensation for their efforts. It does take work to maintain that body. But the higher pay often doesn't seem enough, and you can find threads elsewhere discussing various complaints that people have with Tawan. When I was there earlier this month, the bf took a shine to a guy. He didn't speak English except to say that he "did everything." So, the mamasan, an English-speaking employee, worked hard to get the bf to off the guy. Given that I had more experience, he did most of his speaking to me. And boy did he lie. I finally got him to commit the final cost to writing, but mistakenly let him keep the paper. The two went off to a local love hotel, the bf's wallet containing the agreed amount. I went back to our hotel, which I was sure would not allow a boy to the room. A while later the bf started knocking on the door, so I opened it to see him and the bar boy. Turned out that the bar boy wanted more money and wasn't leaving until he got it. He put me on the phone to the bar, and it turned out that they took a taxi to the love hotel, which I had been led to believe was across the street. So taxi fare was due, and it was 500 baht. Very high for taxi fare, which was more likely 100 baht. But, I paid the 500 just to end the matter. (500 baht is about $17.) Turned out that the guy did very little, instead of "everything." And it was quite a surprise to see him at the hotel room door. I thought he wasn't allowed that far. Had I known he could come to the room, the cost would have been less. No love hotel, no taxi,. no money problem. But, there was a problem, and I suspect that is natural practice to ask for more when the deed is done. This is what others have complained about, and was the reason I worked so hard to nail the cost down before they left. It spoils the experience for the customer, and really is unnecessary. Just say what you want in the first place, and then be happy with it.
  13. Alcohol is evil and should be banned. Cigarettes too!
  14. I'd also say that the guy is lookin good, probably lickin good too. But I won't watch a TV show to see him.
  15. "I know it's theoretically possible to have a completely masculine gay guy." Duh. That's what kept me from gay bars for so many years. I liked masculine men, but the gay guys who were obvious were a bit fem, to say the least. This is early 70's. SO when I finally went to Dugan's Bistro in Chicago (January, 1975), I was stunned beyond belief at all of the masculine guys I saw, and sad to learn that I had missed out on my mistaken assumption. I have tried to make up for lost time since.
  16. I note that this is docbr's first post. Well said, doc. Welcome to posting, too.
  17. Sex among male inmates is rather common in most prisons. Again, I don't really have first hand experience, but I do hear a lot. I just can't imagine all those willing ladyboys not being taken up on their offers, even by the guards. The other common thread in Thai newspapers when I was there was corruption. The whole country seems corrupt, so the prisons would likely also be. It's my thinking that Thailand lost its innocence when Taksin ruled. The yellow shirts learned that someone wanted to take away what they had always taken for granted as rightfully theirs, and the red shirts gave the poor some hope that they might finally get a leg up in society. It all came crushing down, and Thailand will never be the same. Naturally Taksin was as crooked as anyone, using the poor for his own devices.
  18. The Bangkok Post ran another article on ladyboys while I was there. Although I find them annoying on the Beach Road, apparently many others do too. But no one should be discriminated against, right? Read the hard life of a Pattaya ladyboy: http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/investigation/334018/prejudice-in-pattaya-sees-ladyboys-locked-out-and-targeted-by-cops#.UQ36g2NXcTI.gmail
  19. The Bangkok Post says that many ladyboys thrive in a prison setting. Sundays sound especially fun! Find out why: http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/investigation/334017/ladyboys-lost-in-legal-system Well, I admit I did not re-read the article before I posted it. In the newspaper article, it mentioned that Sundays are the only non-workday, so that is the day orgies take place in prison. It isn't mentioned in the online article.
  20. No, Porto Alegre is not worth your time. You will not like the boys there, and more importantly, they will not like you. So don't go! One must have a certain level of respect for the sauna boy to engage him in activities which may be mutually pleasurable. A level of self-respect is helpful as well.
  21. I resent the suggestion that just because I am jerking off in a park that I am a moneyboy...well, I don't really resent it, but if someone mistook me for a moneyboy I would wonder how they could be driving.
  22. What I don't understand is why someone with 27 posts would come to this forum and be critical of the information provided by people over several years. If anything, this forum has been a wealth of information. No one has really raved about Lagoa for a long time. Porto Alegre and Rio seem to be the sauna cities, and Rio has been inconsistent and people here have said so. I doubt that the OP did much research here before he posted.
  23. This is one of my all-time favorite gay movies.
  24. Firecat, did you go to Japanese saunas or gay bars that allow westerners to mix with locals?
  25. Both the bf and I enjoyed a fine massage at Hero earlier this month. My guy was also named ice, but he was 25, not 31. Still the cutest guy in the place, or so I thought. The bf was very impressed with the level of care he received from the guy he selected.
