  1. I wish we could all just have a "do-over" on the Casper thread. We need and want escorts to post here, but he needed to test the waters a little more gently. And we could have responded a little more gently. Was today a full moon or some other outer space event that caused boo-boos on ghosts?
  2. Do we have many here who use frequent flyer miles to fly to Europe? I have had great success in going to Brazil and Thailand-and Hong Kong- without a problem, but going to London is not worth it, unless I am missing something. When I tried to use my miles to go business or First to London, the "fee" charged is almost the entire coach fare! So, give up over 100,000 miles, then pay $1100 in fees, and you get a "free" ticket to London. But regular coach fare at the time I checked was only $1200. I think I could suffer coach rather than pay that much, or I could stay home. Actually, I went to Brazil. We've done that several times now for 40,000 miles each in coach and $54 for a co-pay. Added fees to Thailand are similar. One problem with United is that on a Saver Award, they make you fly Business or First on Air China, not United. But they are great on coach tickets. Any ideas on using my miles on AA to visit London? Fly into Paris?
  3. He had his fans, Oz being one of them. And of course, there was Casper himself. Given time, we all might have come to know and like him. He just got off to a bad start, not knowing the terrain he was taking, I think that's one reason why many people lurk before they post, so they can get a better feel for the forums and the way people conduct themselves...or not.
  4. Bangkok has a great Chinatown, it is just not friendly to pedestrians. Many merchants have taken over what passed for sidewalks, and now it is each man for himself. Granted, I was there in the days before Chinese New Year, when it might have been especially crowded! For 2014, Chinese New Year is January 31st, and I won't be there! It's going to be the Year of the Horse, and I ain't stepping in that shit! I can only imagine how well guys with horse-hung dicks will do though.

"That's odd. All the other guys got hard when I did this."
  6. Casper will be sorely missed by some.
  7. I have never heard of these shows or Ryan Murphy.
  8. He's my favorite one so far.
  9. hehehe...I feel like I am there with you! It's always nice to read of someone traveling to Thailand and having a good time. Thanks for sharing!

kennethinthe212.com is just one of several sites getting a kick out of this newspaper headline:
  11. I still haven't read this novel, but kennethinthe212.com is touting it today: "Two Boys Kissing" by David Levithan Everyone's talking about this one since it made the 2013 National Book Award Longlist: In his follow-up to the New York Times bestselling "Every Day," David Levithan, co-author of bestsellers "Will Grayson, Will Grayson" and "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist," tells the based-on-true-events story of Harry and Craig, two 17-year-olds who are about to take part in a 32-hour marathon of kissing to set a new "Guinness World Record" — all of which is narrated by a Greek Chorus of the generation of gay men lost to AIDS. While the two increasingly dehydrated and sleep-deprived boys are locking lips, they become a focal point in the lives of other teen boys dealing with languishing long-term relationships, coming out, navigating gender identity, and falling deeper into the digital rabbit hole of gay hookup sites — all while the kissing former couple tries to figure out their own feelings for each other
  12. There is a sinister cabal behind the scenes in the US government, and they run things. The Patriot Act, which took away so many of our liberties, was their baby. The increased snooping by the NSA was also theirs. Now we can expect a semi-major terrorist attack that will scare the bejesus out of the country, and these very guys will move right in to protect us by taking over the government as we know it. All of our rights will be temporarily suspended, and 88% of Americans will support them, as they fear some raghead in another country might leave his mule long enough to rape their daughter. It's all in the works, and I could probably get killed for revealing this. But, it will be worth it if I save boytoy.com.
  13. As to ultracrepidarian, lookin says that "they" say it at the other site, but, in fact, only one person has used the word, and that was just two days ago. So, we are getting ahead of ourselves if we use the word "they" prematurely, Don't you think?
  14. "Of course, as they say on the other site, I'm probably just being an ultracrepidarian" No doubt. But it's better to be an ultracrepidarian than a regular crepidarian, don't you think?
  15. Lucky you!
  16. So, we were about the same age when we stopped.
  17. ...was the last day I smoked a cigarette after 19 years of smoking. And you know what? It still shows up on my chest x-ray! Do you smoke? Cigarettes I didn't smoke!
  18. gem147, what do you think? I think we have to go with the president we have.
  19. Well, six of the justices were at the Roman Catholic "Red Mass." This is an annual celebration of the Catholic liturgy where many government officials join in prayer for the members of the judiciary. http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2012/09/30/record-number-of-justices-attends-red-mass/ One of the big cases before the Court this term will be Christian prayer at public meetings. Wonder how Roberts plans to vote on that? BTW, now that Pope Francis wants the clergy lowering their bling, why not wear simpler garments and do away with the pointed hats? It sure would be in keeping with the new Church, wouldn't it? Look at Roberts. he is the Chief Justice, but doesn't need a fancy outfit.
  20. My question is why wasn't Obama on top of the Obamacare roll-out, making sure that no mistakes were made and that Obamacare looked like a winner. Instead we got flawed sign up and an ultimate closure to fix things. Given that repealing Obamacare is supposedly what the shutdown is all about, you'd think they would put their best foot forward in introducing it. But no, they fucked it up instead. The news is all about how hard it was to sign up instead of how many people were finally getting medical care.
  21. I found PV to be very safe. The downtown area seems to be a no-go zone for locals unless they have a job there or other valid reason to be there. Everyone spoke English- fluently! It was almost like being in a Disney version of Mexico. Be sure to go to the site of the Taylor-Burton film cum romance. It's pretty neat and is an easy bus ride away.
  22. tomcal...tomcal...Brazill.. yes, um huh, ...boys...lots of boys...yes, it's coming back to me...tomcal OH! TOMCAL! You mean he is back???!!!??? Well then, welcome back!
  23. If we only knew that the camera was going to provide every guy a chance to pose naked in 2013... But, 1918 was also a good year for chocolate malts.
  24. Your pillow covers don't match.
  25. I thought that my editing was not going through because it did not return me to the page but stayed on the editing page. But, when I peeked at the post, it was, in fact, edited. It just doesn't automatically return you to the thread as it did before.
