Love your new shirt.

Why didn't you take me there when I visited :-) All we did was frolic around in the rain, visiting go-go boy bars, walk in a monsoon down pour under a big red umbrella so you could waive to everyone :-)

I do now!

Todays newest review sparked a thought and some curiousity. It states that the time was a real BFE and it is clear it was a one hour appointment. Now everyone has their interpretation on this, but how can you have a BFE experience in one hour? I don't get it..... I typically don't do one hour appts as I find them rather boring, in and out and off we go. I prefer to take my time and savour the moment and the money spent, not to mention a hot guy. What does BFE mean to you and can you achieve that feeling in one hour? p.s. seems most post have at least one photo added, so here is a random, off topic pic.

The nipples were in fact mezmerizing, glad I am not the only one that thought so. Just a little hair around to make them oh so hot..... the movie overall, I would rate as average, too long and the "mushy" scenes to predictable. Saw the IMAX 3D, not sure it was worth the extra cost. Good SciFi film, helps to know the priginal book was written by Edgar Rice Burrows, of Tarzan fame.

Great topic. Some great memories Phoenix, bellboy propositioned me after flirting with me as he showed me to my room. San Jose, Costa Rica, cabana boy, clearly a pro at flirting and providing "extra" services Phuket, pool boy/bar boy worked the pool at upscale hotel and knew the meaning of service Each a great experience and in retrospect better than many "escort" experiences I have had.

Tawan has large body builders, some are stocky, some muscular. All seemed very bored and even when not on stage they did not interact with customers. The one very hot guy was taken by a regular from what I could gather. I would not say any are cute, manly, with one guy with an obviously large package, but looked like Mickey Rourke (not the young cute version, the current version)

Thanks for the replys. Crowne Plaza - was only 3000Baht - that got me a Deluxe King with Breakfast, I have status with ICHG now so they gave corner suite. I asked on how occupancy was, they said very low. Only 30% over the weekend......very sad as they enter high season.

Much discussion in the media and on many blogs about the state of Bangkok for the visitor, one word. GO, Please (ok two words) My third trip to Bangkok in the same number of months. Arrived Thursday evening and whisked myself via InterCity Airport Train (45BHT), then quick taxi to Crowne Plaza Hotel. One the quickest and least expensive ways from airport to/from city center. Total of 110BHT compared to 300-500BHT on taxi. Crowne Plaza (have stayed 2 out of three times), great location, friendly staff, rooms are good size and value. Many Japanese tourists stay here and they are very intriqued by older gentleman with two cute guys with him at breakfast, the ladies giggle and whisper comments, I find it cute. Breakfast buffet is quite good and you can get rate with bfast included. My last trip I stayed at Le Meridien, boutique style hotel, right in the heart of Si Lom night life, but staff is not that pleasant and security was hassling when I brought guests, more than longer questions. Crowne Plaza is most gratious, never asks, just asks the bois for their IDs. Le Meridien likes to ask questions, don't like that. Friday made the rounds of several locations, Dicks Cafe for a quick meal, then to Jupiter2002 for their show, Tawan for a little muscle and a new place to me SuperA. Jupiter2002 show was not too bad, the bois just need to learn how to dance. :-) Staff was friendly, not pushy, drinks slightly lower than Soi bars. Tawan was ok, the guys are just to big for me. SuperA, well, I was just wondering around, remembered this place as a reommendation, so I went in, it was about midnight. I was the only customer and the bois just were on me like the sweat pouring off of me. The bois are more street bois and really not my type. Mamasan then said she could get "younger" guys and with that suggestion, I said goodbye. Did not got to X-Boys or BBB this night, wanted to try some other places. Plus X-Boys is off my list as the mamasan on my second trip really want to screw me over, with off fees and tipping. I did see her Saturday night as I walked down the soi with two of her bois that I met and spent the weekend with, the one boi just handed her the obligatory off fee and we just kept walking. Saturday, late start to the day and then off for some gym time. Now those that know me, I am jolly chubby fellow that has recently decided to better my health and that requires exercise especially when you pass 45. Then off to Adonis Massage, have done Heros, that was good. Adonis was ok, not many bois working at 4pm Friday, but two bois were quite friendly and very handsome. Nice lean muscular bodies and sweet, almost shy personality. Both bois gave me a nice treatment, will leave it at that. Facility is clean and multi-story. Facilities are not great, but certainly good by BKK standards compared to others, I would go back. Get the Premium scrub and massage, really does rejenute that skin. At night my two companions and I went for dinner, Thai resto on Thomas Convent Rd, cannot remember the name, next to a Mexican resto. Food good slightly expensive. Then off to Jupiter 2002 for the Friday show which was different than Thurs show. Good show, drag songs, hardon show, no sex show. I sat in front row and as the guys came out displaying their goods, each tapped me on the head...I am bald and large, so I stood out in the front row....I of course did not mind and my companions thought it really funny that I enjoyed it, Thai bois sometimes think things are bad when they are good, at least for me. We then went to BBB to meet a friend, I paid his off fee and we went with three cute bois for late night snack at resto not far from Soi that serves late/early. Saturday night proved to be a night of a carnival not too far from hotel, was fun. Good rides and carnival atmosphere, the bois liked the bumper cars....we went on them three times. Day was spent Dusit Zoo and one temple, Mount of Gold and seeing a movie (Puss in Boots, 3D - my idea not the bois- good movie) Sunday was a day of wake up late, breakies and off to aiport, leaving my two new Thai friends and a good weekend. Go to BANGKOK! No troubles getting around, all the tourist areas are open and the boi bars NEED custoemrs! Lots of bois, not so many customers. Lots of sandbags everywhere but all is open. My two friends were flooded out and has caused their families more hardship as little help is coming, but they are cleaning up. We did see lots of donations stations and things going on at CentralWorld, not sure if this is really reaching those in real need. My friends say they have seen no assitance. Cleaning drinking water is biggest issue for them, they have to come closer to city center to get clearn water at stations set up for them. Happy reading, now back to Singapore and back to work.

Thanks TO. I have been to Bangkok before but has been several years. I find myself living in Singapore currently, so going to BKK for a little long weekend. I like all types of guys, definitely like the muscle guys and did not get to visit Tawan Bar the last time. Not in to saunas but might like to try out a massage spa. Crowne Plaza sounds good for me plus I can walk to the bars and they have a pool! I did register as two people, actually I do this anytime, anywhere I travel regardless if I am with someone or not. Look forward to meeting you.

I have heard that about him :-) while most of you don't know me, some of you on here do as we have met before. Hotel wise - booked at Crowne Plaza Lumpini Park - read many of the threads here. Prefer hotel that is walking distance to bars and has a pool. Any other suggestions?

just wanted to offer invite to anyone that will be in Bangkok 9-12 Sept, will be there and would be great to meet up with MER members for drink, dinner, bar visits. send me a message! Cheers

quite stylish for a car originaly designed under Nazi Germany. Car was designed by VW to be a safe, low cost, modernistic approach to modern transportation. VW was contracted to design such a vehicle back in the late 30's by Adolph Hitler. Interesting history to this car. My family owned one in the 70's and even then we could easily do roadtrips on one tank of gas.

Airline codes have been around 15+ years, AA started this type of catergorizing in the deregulation days of the industry to show different airfares. The airlines do their yield management on a minute by minute basis and fare codes change constantly. On any given day 150,000 fares change all based on yields on any given flight on any given day. Fly high market routes, the lower the fares, fly low market routes the higher the fare. You can buy you ticket literally seconds difference from another person and pay a different fare, yet you all sit in coach and you all have a fare basis code.

I have had the opportunity to use the service a couple of times over the past few years. Always reliable, the owner/manager will speak with you in English. Describe what you want and he will tell you the guys and descriptions. Rates are very economical, especially compared to hotel/food costs. You can also visit them for in-call but rather hard to find as it is down an alley and not marked, unless you read Japanese. The guys I was able to meet were sweet, sexy, and very fun in bed.

Both, since it is the same person. Look closely, it is photoshopped to trick the eye. Same person different look. So what drives your fancy, more masculine or twinkish. Ok MarcAnthony we know which one you will choose.

Ritz Battery - great modernesque hotel, not your typical Ritz for decor. Great rooms, great views. Taxis and subway will keep you connected to the "life of NYC", there is a small amusement area not far away with some shops and movies, across from AMEX World Headquarters and behind Embassy Suites. Times Square, well - noise, people, tourists, DisneyLand of the city, but close to "all the nightlife, but taxis subway take you Chelsea and Christ St area. FourPoints W25th - not your typical Four Points, modern boutique hotel. SMALL ROOMS - try to get deluxe room, but still small by even NYC standards.

A note to Gay lodging owners- STOP RIPPING US OFF!
Casteran replied to TownsendPLocke's topic in The Beer Bar
Gay or straight - hotels run the same way. Inauguration 4 night minimum at $879 per night, Mardi Gras 3 night minimum $430 per night, high convention season in Vegas two night minimums at $300 a night. Like it or not it is the way the industry runs. You are right to say they will whine when they close but so do all the other chain hotels. -
Ok, am I the only one that found Brokeback Mountain one of the most boring movies of all time? Not quite sure why so many awards and why the hype. The short story was much more interesting.

Thanks Scott. I did find some reviews from SF Chronicle, etc and they stated the same thing - horrid, except the song by the little girl. Seems feedback is consistent - guess I will pass for now, perhaps they will re-vamp (no pun intended) before it hits BWay

Has anyone seen it? Opened last week in San Francisco, unable to find some meaty reviews. Opens in NYC in April.

Seems NEXT, on MTV, is very popular for the "bois" to get some on air time. Justin Masters recently reviewed was on a recent episode. Since I know Justin - he was just a cute on the show as he is in real life. Boi Bleu who advertises on M4RN.com in LA was on today. Don't know Bleu but he seemed cute on the show.
