  1. Ditto!!!We need more skin and less censorship.
  2. Not real excited about the premise of the show. Seems a little contrived and far-featched for me (and I'm a dog lover). But, I always make sure I watch the show for the eye candy. And, my gaydar goes off with him. I'd bet next weeks paycheck he plays for our team.
  3. I go to Seattle a couple times a month on business. I have yet to actually have good weather. Always seems cold to me and the last time I was there the wind was terrible.
  4. You're spot on with that observation. But, the Prop 8 support was at the highest level of the Mormon Church and that where we have a problem. The actions today were grassroots. Personally, I believe the grassroots support will eventually influence the "official" stance of the Mormon church.
  5. I never thought I'd live to see this happen. But, in today's Pride Parade in Salt Lake City, over 300 straight Mormons marched in support. Read the full story at: http://www.ksl.com/?...ay-pride-parade Here's a picture of Grand Marsall, Dustin Lance Black, and the Mormon supporters. And a couple more monumental pictures:
  6. I limited my support of Target a couple years ago. Perhaps I'll start using them again. At the very least, I'm going to buy one of their t-shirts.
  7. Expat, I'm so very sorry to hear about your nephew. My nieces and nephews are much more like my own children. And, anything that affects them really hits me hard. I can only imagine how difficult this is for you. A lot of times I'm sure other people are unaware of the difficult times in my personal life. It really would be nice to have friends or family that were sensitive to those needs. Believe me, a phone call or e-mail could make a real difference during those times. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't seem to notice or care.
  8. Sounds like the parents / teachers of the kid should be brought up on child abuse charges. Isn't it against the law to brainwash someone of that age?
  9. Hadn't heard this news until your post. Thanks for letting us know.
  10. Can't stand Howard Stern on the radio and I'm certainly not going to pollute my home with his ilk on TV. I've enjoyed this show in the past. But, until he's gone they're going to have one less person watching. However, I highly doubt they care about my opinion.
  11. Good to know I'm not alone.
  12. I've got to totally agree with you and think your success is fantastic. I also lost a considerable amount of weight in the past 18 months and it was by changing my diet and exercise. I started out by removing all carbs, caffine, alcohol, soda, and fast food from my life. The doc then had me follow a very strict diet of high protein, very small portions, lots of water, and more exercise. In the beginning, the only exercise I could handle was walking. But, it was increasing my movement and I soon moved up to more rigorous stuff. Portion control, wise choices, and movement were the key essentials in my success. And, I'm now able to maintain that weight loss with some great receipes that Oz shared with me. The weight loss has really changed my life.
  13. Thank you for the clarification of your post. Perhaps I'm one that takes things too seriously. I don't find hiring escorts a form of entertainment. I don't come to sites like this strictly for entertainment. I come here to share thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives with others that I assume are here for the same reason. In the health forum I've received lots of encouragement and support on issues totally unrelated to hiring. I used to enjoy the political forum until it raised my blood pressure to the point that I had to give it up. I totally enjoy seeing some of the pictures posted here that aren't always posted on other sites. I've even met some of the other posters and have developed friendships as a result. But, you could be right. I'm probably taking things too seriously. Perhaps I've misjudged the reason for this site.
  14. Could you elaborate on that comment? Do you think the original post is sad? Do you think the direction of this site is sad? Do you think his perception of the site admins is sad? Do you feel the lack of participation from people like me is sad? I'm really not sure how to take your very short and cryptic post. Perhaps a few more words will prompt a few more thoughtful responses.
  15. More pussy than this guy wants.
  16. WHY!?!?? If everyone switched to Apple, then the hackers would focus on Apple and turn their attention there. Apple is NOT the perfect product. It's just harder to attack. Why attack the hard product when Microsoft makes it so easy?? IMHO, the Apple product is much safer as long as Microsoft is widely used. If Apple was the only game in town, thre would still be problems. Hacker's aren't going to roll over and die if Apple rules the world. They'll just change their focus.
  17. Wish I had read that earlier. Lots of good info that would have addressed many of my frustrations with this site.Any reason why it's hidden at the bottom and not clearly displayed on top?
  18. Well, the button you click here to read unread posts is the same size / location as the feature to mark all threads as "read" on the other site. So, you'll hopefully understand why I never used that feature on this site. Perhaps I'm too old to adapt to some of the new sofware packages. But, I'm really not an icon type of guy. I much prefer things that are easy understood and clearly labeled with something more than just a picture. Are any of the software / navigation hints covered in a FAQ area?
  19. Charlie, that blue dot is EXACTLY what I've been looking for!! Thank you. But, to the Admins, how in the world would I know to click on that blue dot?? On other sites, that option doesn't appear as a blue dot but has text that clearly states it will direct you to unread threads. I really like the feature but have spent months of frustration on this site because it wasn't OBVIOUS to someone with limited knowledge like me.
  20. It's not the same as at the other site. I believe that shows me ALL yes ALL new posts.I only want to see new posts within ONE (not a whole entire SITE). The features here for navigation are very far INFERIOR to what is available at most sites.
  21. I used to love Panda Express. Their two entree combo wasn't enough to satisfy me. However, since dropping several pounds, I can't even finish one entree. For the first year of my diet, the doc didn't want me to eat rice. So, your suggestion for the steamed veggies is a great alternative.
  22. I rarely read or submit reviews any more (either here or the other site). I really appreciate the swiftness of posting reviews here. The other place has a wait time that is totally unacceptable. I like Lukerspeaks' suggestion to make the reviews part of the forum. Quite frankly, I'm sure there are a lot more things I could do on this site. But, 99.99% of my time is in the forums. A while back I believe you were toying with the idea of getting rid of the policital forum and combining it with this forum. So glad that didn't happen. In my mind, expand the forums (including reviews) and keep things separate so I can ignore what I don't want while quickly finding what I do enjoy. And, while we're speaking of improvements, there is a feature on the other site that I really do like. When going to a thread, I have the option of going to the unread posts in that specific thread. Makes it so much easier to get past what I've already read. The software here makes navigation very difficult and it really frustrates me.
  23. OK, I'm confused and hope someone can help me understand. Is this really a transgendered person or is it an actor "pretending" to be transgendered? I believe the guy in the wheelchair is really not paralized and only "acts" paralized. Wondered it it is the same with the transgendered character.
  24. Love the picture!! Where did Lucky go?
  25. Boy, we sure have different tastes. I'd rather watch a Lawerence Welk rerun that sit through this.
