Looks like a fun movie. That's a hell of a car for a teenager.

Russia dropping fast in list of places I want to visit...
BigK replied to JKane's topic in The Beer Bar
St. Petersburg is wonderful, but better plan 3 days at The Hermitage. I only had 3/4 of a day in the 80's and remember virtually running through ballroom sized rooms. -
I didn't like it. I was looking forward to it based upon previews. I didn't like the jerky camera movements and I thought that the story line was weak. What am I missing?

Glad you kept this confidential Lucky. We wouldn't want anyone else to notice.

It's never occurred to me that some people would think that atheists are by nature less ethical. I don't see the correlation. I sure hope it's a minority that would be that judgmental. It would not be very Christian of them.

What a deadbeat. How'd you get roped into putting up his bail?

I record too to watch later. The problem was though, that the commercial always seemed first in rotation. I couldn't fast forward fast enough to avoid at least the first few seconds of the annoying commercial. JCP is a long established company and I wish them well in their rebranding, but they've got to fire their ad agency.

I can't stand the current JCP commercial (J. C. PENNY'S for those of you not with it). It starts with a woman screaming and goes on and on and on with women screaming (you know for the NEW JCP). Makes me gag. What's commercial makes you sick?

Very complete article. It's a touching story. But still a lot of mystery to me of the thought process that led to Tyler making that terrible decision. I think his sensitive nature must have been wounded for a very long time which he protected by not socializing much to the point of isolation. It's remarkable to me that the twitter age has led to less real communication between people. The tweets as a stream of consciousness shows the potential of stripping one of one's own privacy. Sharing personal thoughts before being fully thought out is dangerous. It seemed that he and his roommate never got to know each other and personal boundaries were not respected. I don't have too much sympathy for the electronic peeping roommate, but it's sad to see how badly he's ruined his own life as well.

Let's see if this works: http://deals.entertainment.com/daily_deals/56432?cm_mmc_o=aybTTwyl*KzbkY%20Kwzk*Ruuwy*2ma Thanks Lucky for the assist. He could change my oil too.

Kevin Bacon has the Skeletor vibe going too. That boy needs to start eating breakfast, and drink a milk shake or 10.

He can change my oil any day! https://mail.google.com/mail/?tab=wm#inbox/1352e11d462541d5

I enjoy the show. Some really interesting Business Plans and some really stupid Business Plans. I'm ready to start the stud agency. Let the auditions begin!

The story about your mother is pretty funny. Love the visual of her all a twitter with her older women friends.

The way you have framed your question I assume your gas boiler heats water to serve a forced hot water system (sludge & rust being the clue). Air may have gotten into the line when the new boiler was installed. Have you tried bleeding off the air on individual radiators?

The trailer indicated that 2 of the primary male characters, John Ross and Christoper both have girlfriends. It would be a shame if they didn't have any homosexual characters. Even Dynasty back in the Day had a gay character.

I was a big fan too. Looking forward to seeing this.

I hope this doesn't mean White Collar is being cancelled. I enjoy that show.

I'm in lust with the oh so cute Grandson of Armand Hammer. Doesn't hurt that he's probably got a few bucks in his back pocket. I'm available for marriage.

I was surfing TV channels today and stumbled on this segment. Mario was talking about his new underwear line so I paused out of professional curiosity. I'm not so sure it was planned as it was anticipated. Watch the moment where Mario started to ease back into his seat and then said are you serious. It could have just been good acting. Loved when Ellen hugged him before he could get his zipper up. Does anyone think there was maybe a little stuffing?

Now I'm worried about Tree of Life which I've added to and moved to the top of my Netflix Queue. Just finished watching Tetro written, produced and directed by Francis Ford Cappola in 2009. It's a "captivating drama that centers on the relationship between Bennie (Alden Ehrenreich) and Tetro (Vincent Gallo), two brothers who reunite in Buenos Aires after a 10-year estrangement. Maribel Verdu, Klaus Maria Brandauer, Carmen Maura and Rodrigo de la Serna also star in this moving tale loosely inspired by Coppola's own experiences growing up in a creative Argentine-Italian family."

Etta James was truly a great singer. She is in both the Blues and Rock & Roll Halls of Fame. Started singing in the 1950's, her most famous song "At Last" was recorded in 1961. She won 4 Grammy Awards including a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003. RIP.

I agree that Rob Lowes pretty slick, but not so sure I'd go as far as calling him a slime ball. Seriously, good for Rob for taking on such a ugly role. Not sure I'm interested in watching, but I hope Rob does a good job considering it's a risky role.
