Veterans Day is pretty big here in Texas. I went to the car wash today and they were offering free car washes to veterans. Many restaurants are offering free meals, and we had a parade in Houston.
Good post FourAces. What a great kid. I've always enjoyed Penn & Teller and I appreciated how kind and generous in their praise they were with this young man. The trick was very well done. I have no idea how he did it.
I have no discernible line of marriage on my palm, and am not and never have been married. The 2 lines do appear on the side of my hand, but don't carry through to the palm.
Life line looks pretty strong though. Lots of longevity in my family.
Heart wrenching story. I really hope that the father realizes the error of his ways and finds his love for his son. The father would have a long way to go to make it up to his son. Most importantly, I hope this young man continues to get the love and support that he has been getting and that it is enough to give him strength to deal with this terrible emotional blow.
As is often the case, well reviewed movies increase expectations and frequently disappoint. While I can't exactly say I was disappointed, I definitely was not enthralled.
Thanks for clarifying. That's what I was hoping you meant. I respect your opinion as a pilot and am glad the saying didn't mean you thought that he was just lucky. Both sounds just about right.
I'm still surprised how many guys thought he was straight. The guys seemed a little more honest in their opinions than the girls he asked (I can't remember any of the girls saying they thought he was gay).
I was very encouraged by the over all reactions of general acceptance. But I also think it's easier to be accepted when you're as drop dead gorgeous as this guy is.
I'm grateful to the handful of posters who make the effort to keep the message board afloat. The forum has lasted for a pretty long time, but new posters would certainly be welcome.
